01/05/2026: May 2026 On the May Day weekend, we went to the Côté Plage restaurant in Courseulles-sur-Mer. Always a pleasure to come. The owners are friendly and smiling, as usual. Excellent lunch, smiling waiters. We come every year to have a great time. August 2025 We came again this year. The owners are very friendly and pleasant. Review May 9, 2024 We were in Villers-sur-Mer for the weekend. We went to the Côté Plage restaurant in Courseulles-sur-Mer. We really like this restaurant; we are always warmly welcomed. The owners and servers are very friendly. We will be back in August 2024. Best of luck and thank you. When we go to Courseilles-sur-Mer, we always go to this restaurant. It's very good, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We ate there twice, on July 9th and 10th, and we always got the table we requested, number 15, without any problem. Great! Always so good, very friendly and welcoming staff. Always so good. We will be back.

30/04/2026: A very nice discovery, very good food and a very friendly welcome.

26/06/2026: We arrived, sat down, and waited. We went to the bar because no one was coming to greet us. Finally, a waitress came because you only order at your table. Fifteen minutes later, still no one and no hello, so we left. Too bad, it seemed nice.

16/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome at lunchtime. They have a simple, good, and inexpensive lunch menu that we highly recommend. The homemade ice cream is also excellent.

12/06/2026: What nice people on staff and what good food! We got there hungry and found out they hadn't opened. But we were able to sit down and have a drink. Just when they opened the food was on the table. Really good burgers and super friendly staff. If you're in Aix I can only recommend them!

31/05/2026: Unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. My friends and I ordered burgers after being told the meat was halal. However, the burgers also contained non-halal bacon, which wasn't clearly stated when we ordered. When we pointed out the problem at the register, the manager repeatedly insisted he had warned us, which wasn't true. This bad faith was particularly disappointing. He also explained that he was in a rush and hadn't paid attention to our order. Yet, the restaurant was practically empty, and there were only two customers before us, making this excuse hard to understand. Beyond the mistake itself, it was the lack of transparency and the failure to acknowledge the error that disappointed us most. For customers who care about these dietary issues, clear and explicit information is essential. Mistakes can happen, but they must be acknowledged, and lessons learned must be taken. It's regrettable, because until now we had a good image of this establishment.

29/06/2026: Taste-wise, it's certainly not Big Fernand, but it's still better than McDonald's. The fries are always excellent, which isn't the case with the competition. The thing is, you're full, but also left with a heavy feeling for a long time... Not a great feeling. My problem is that Big Fernand (or similar) restaurants aren't everywhere...

27/06/2026: No air conditioning is shameful for both the staff and the customers. The restaurant is very dirty. The table service leaves much to be desired; no one even greets you.

01/03/2026: The setting, the decor, the staff—everything was perfect, plus it was good for a very affordable price. Unfortunately, this establishment has been closed since February 2026!

25/02/2026: I'm devastated, this lovely little restaurant has just closed...it's February 22nd, 2026, sniff.

06/06/2026: The reception was very friendly. We had a room in the rear (newer) part of the building on the first floor. The room was quiet, and you could even sleep with the window open. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is well located for exploring the city, and parking is no problem. Breakfast is simple, but everything is available and is constantly replenished. Unfortunately, our room wasn't completely clean. There were still visible crumbs on the floor, and hair and glass/cup rings on the white table. The sliding door in the bathroom is a good, space-saving idea in principle, but the execution is flawed. You have to slide the door directly across the carpet, which makes it very difficult to open and close. It also sticks out significantly from the wall, creating a large gap, which somewhat compromises privacy when using the toilet. However, the room was still okay for one night.

04/06/2026: I recommend this establishment. The staff is welcoming and professional. Everything was perfect until the owner arrived to take our payment. He was very unpleasant because we had booked through Smartbox. He claimed he had fed us for free and therefore lost money. Simply withdraw from the system and you won't fill your establishment anymore.

25/05/2026: I really enjoyed it; the food was fresh and well-prepared, the waitress was fantastic and very friendly, and even the chef came by at one point. We had a wonderful meal. Thank you.

12/05/2026: This pizzeria is a bit hidden but worth the detour. The wood-fired pizzas are delicious, the service is friendly, and there's a nice dining room with plenty of seating.

23/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a Big Tasty Rösti but only received a regular Big Tasty; the rösti was completely missing. When we explained the problem, the manager (I assume) was condescending instead of trying to understand the situation. Of course, we only had the credit card receipt and not the receipt detailing the exact order, but that doesn't excuse this lack of consideration for customers. Mistakes happen, but the welcome and the way customers are treated are just as important.

13/05/2026: I love the atmosphere, the fun music, and the hot food 🥵. The staff are respectful and lovely. I wanted to give it 6 stars, but it's a shame there are only 5. Bessoncourt is the best McDonald's I've been to in the area.

29/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Everything is homemade. Friendly and welcoming service. Very good food and a lovely outdoor terrace. The staff is fantastic. Highly recommended!

24/05/2026: Sir, the two desserts and Marie thank the entire team at Les 2 Marronniers for their warm welcome and excellent cuisine: escargots, very generous ribeye steak, etc. etc. Don't hesitate, if you're in the mood for a good meal, go for it!
