07/10/2026: I only gave 5 stars because of the waiter who looked after us on the terrace the day we came, September 23, 2026. He was so funny and welcoming! The kind of guy who makes you want to come back. Simply because you feel so comfortable there!

25/09/2026: Arriving at 7:40 a.m. hoping to buy a fresh sandwich, only to leave disappointed: that's an experience I certainly didn't want. The bread had clearly seen better days, the butter was conspicuously absent, and the cheese and ham seemed to have been rationed with almost military precision. As for the handful of salad, it was so small it seemed to symbolize my desire to ever return to this establishment. In short, if the goal was to serve a sandwich capable of discouraging any future loyalty, mission accomplished.

21/08/2026: I live right next door, yet I only come when I absolutely have to; the other bakery on Rathsamausen Street is much better. Your croissants have no flavor and are soggy, like they're from the day before—it's frustrating. On the other hand, the saleswomen are very friendly.

23/09/2026: As the casino management has not seen fit to reply to my email written over two months ago, I am taking the liberty of sharing my opinion here. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service at the Luxeuil cinema since it has been managed by the casino. In July, the person at the cinema ticket counter refused to apply the Monday discounted rates because she was unaware of them, as she normally works as a bartender. My 13-year-old son paid full price, as did my niece and brother. Only my 16-year-old nephew received a discounted rate. I still don't understand the logic. I then tried to contact someone by phone to get an explanation, but it is easier to get a doctor's appointment than to speak to someone at the Luxeuil casino. After a week of unsuccessful attempts, I sent an email that remains unanswered to this day. I would add that the carpets are in poor condition, the popcorn machine only works one out of four times, and it's cold in winter and hot in summer. Not to mention the summer of 2025 when all the doors were locked and we ended up having to leave through the emergency exit, as there was no staff at the cinema entrance. The staff member we encountered in the parking lot didn't even bother to answer our questions. It's a shame not to offer quality service when we're complaining about declining cinema attendance.

13/09/2026: The bowling alley in Luxeuil-les-Bains isn't great. All the score displays are in English, which isn't ideal, and at the end of the game, just five seconds after you throw your last ball, it's almost impossible to see the score details. A large message pops up saying "Thank you for your visit," which basically means move along, there's nothing more to see. As for the snacks on the menu, more than 50% of the items are unavailable, and to top it all off, the service isn't very friendly. I advise you to avoid it.

05/10/2026: Fantastic experience! We arrived at 2:30 pm after trying every restaurant in town, and only one was kind enough to welcome us—this was it! The owner was amazing and managed everything. Thank you again!

24/09/2026: Fantastic! I just left. Impeccable service, perfect meal, the pizza was delicious with quality ingredients. I almost skipped dessert, but I couldn't resist the homemade coffee tiramisu – it was truly incredible! Thank you so much for this lovely evening, and all the best for the future!

25/11/2025: Hello, upon arrival, the waiter seated us and then left us for over 15 minutes. He returned and said, "Ah, you haven't looked at the menu yet" (which was hidden in a book). Should he have told us?! We asked him a few questions about the very limited menu: four starters, one of which was missing, one main course from the daily special, and two à la carte options. The waiter responded in a very rude tone, seemingly annoyed at having to explain the concept. He brought us a flat, acidic white wine, which he half-spilled on the table, maintaining his haughty and inappropriate attitude. We asked for a replacement glass. Fortunately, the food was good, if not exceptional (the terrine and pork tenderloin were unremarkable, the rich jus a bit too spicy, even though I usually love it), but the cooking was precise, the flavor combinations interesting, and the dessert excellent. But honestly, the service was appalling, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If it hadn't been a Monday, I would have left immediately! Even when it came to paying the bill, my partner, being Italian, could have spent over €50 directly without going into the card reader. The waiter, in a sneering tone, said, "Well, yes, you have to insert it." It's an old-fashioned model... I think if I were a man with a temper, I would have punched him in the face... Shameful... First and last time!

12/09/2026: Excellent couscous, from meat to vegetables! Impeccable service and reasonable prices. A great place to eat!

03/09/2026: Great food. Lovely staff. We arrived late in the day and the team managed to offer us a tagine lunch. It was absolutely delicious, typical of what I’ve eaten in a Morocco home. Note to vegetarians/vegans: I ordered the vegetable tagine and the broth had chicken in it. I’m not vegetarian, so for me it wasn’t a problem and it was delicious, but thought others may wish to be aware so they can ask for what they need.

02/09/2026: A lovely spot to get some work done, have a coffee, or grab a bite. The last time I was there, card payments weren’t working — hopefully that’s been fixed by now :)

21/09/2026: A pretty good French restaurant, but not amazing. The service isn't always the most welcoming, depending on who you get.

21/09/2026: Weekday business lunches (Monday to Friday) are inexpensive and plentiful, including a main meal, dessert, and coffee.

05/09/2026: Delicious tarte flambée. We'll be back. The terrace was lovely, and we were able to eat outside without any problems. The food was tasty, and the prices were reasonable. They also have non-alcoholic beer – a real plus for designated drivers.

02/09/2026: A very traditional wine tavern with all the specialties of Alsace. Authentic and very high quality.

06/09/2026: The service is incredibly friendly, the lady who greeted me was radiant and very pleasant!!

18/08/2026: Excellent bakery, we highly recommend it. Pastries are superb and the baguette is perfectly crisp and still warm.

12/09/2026: For 4 meals ordered at the drive-thru, 1 Maxi Best Of became a regular Best Of, 2 Big Tasty 2-meat meals turned into single-meat meals, 1 Oasis drink became a Coke, and there was no fork with the cheddar fries... And yet I checked that everything matched the order board when I placed it, so perhaps I should have unpacked everything before leaving, but I think that for the price of McDonald's, the absence of errors should be part of the service.

17/08/2026: You can make a combination of pasta, sauce, toppings and complement that is well priced and very good. Although they didn't have some ingredients, we liked what we ordered and it was quick enough

28/09/2026: We ended up in this restaurant by a coincidence, and it turned out to be the highlight of our evening. We were welcomed very warmly by a kind man (I suppose he was the owner?), he seated us with a smile and made us feel at home. Likewise, the server was also super warm and radiated positive atmosphere. The pizza was thin and we absolutely loved it. The cheese and all the other ingredients were out of this world - fresh and so flavourful! The combination of toppings was perfectly balanced, the chefs surely knew what they were doing when compiling this menu. On top of that, the restaurant hosted its own music performer, which made the French vibe complete. It was in this restaurant that I learned the phrase “Je suis au paradis!”
