09/09/2026: Perfect for our cycling stopover! Simple but pleasant room, very friendly and warm welcome, truly delicious food, and a generous breakfast.
We highly recommend it.
07/09/2026: I opted to order à la carte rather than a set menu, figuring the portion would be a decent size. I ordered the Bresse chicken with cream sauce. On my plate, I found a ridiculously small leg accompanied by a few tiny pieces of vegetables and mini potato pancakes.
Everything was tiny! The excuse I was given was that Bresse chicken is expensive…

10/09/2026: I am, of course, used to Chinese food in the Netherlands. Here it is a bit different, a small restaurant. Ordered chicken with curry; they serve potatoes with it here, which wasn't tasty. Also a relatively small portion. Sauce tasty. But I did have to add sambal. I don't live in Lille, but if I did, this wouldn't be my favorite restaurant. Friendly service though.

We went several times this summer, and everything was perfect: attentive staff, excellent food, and no wait.
Go without hesitation!
(P.S.: We highly recommend the beef stir-fried noodles, our favorite dish on the menu 😋)

30/08/2026: The service was a bit slow, the waitstaff were young and hardworking but lacked experience. We were asked to keep our cutlery between the starter and the main course, and then it was changed for us later. The terrine was mediocre, and no bread was served with it; we had to ask for it. The lamb shank was overcooked, and the gingerbread underneath was burnt. What a shame.
26/07/2026: Delicious all-you-can-eat mussels and fries on July 25th, 26th, and 27th for the village fair, with a great atmosphere and a very warm welcome.

23/09/2026: We went there for lunch today. The meal was perfect, the waiter was incredibly professional and friendly, and the three of us thoroughly enjoyed our food: gratinated mussels, fish and chips, duck breast, and a burger. Everyone loved it, thank you, and we'll definitely be back soon!

In any case, you can go there without hesitation: I recommend Le Mékong 100%! 🙏🏻
