02/10/2026: A superb evening spent at this restaurant, with beautifully presented dishes and superb flavors, accompanied by impeccable and friendly service! The only slight drawback was a lack of background music, but that's just a personal opinion. A superb establishment that deserves a visit for a guaranteed good time!

19/09/2026: We had a wonderful time. The cuisine was original and refined; we indulged ourselves. The calf's head with chanterelles and new potatoes, and the roasted sea bass were perfect. The service was pleasant and friendly, a bit young, but could learn some way to improve. Ask for a table on the terrace if the weather is nice.

01/09/2026: Having worked in the food industry, I'm very particular about the products I consume. I don't often leave reviews, but this time I'm blown away. The pizzas are excellent—tasty, flavorful, and generous. Everything is made on-site. Their experience and expertise are evident. The service is very welcoming, which is always a plus. Personally, it's definitely worth the trip! 👍

13/10/2026: A stylish Parisian escape in shades of red ❤️ Stopped by Le Bar Long at Raffles Paris for a quick bite and a couple of cocktails, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent. I had the salade de chèvre chaud and the tuna tataki, both very well executed and perfect for a light snack. Naturally, no visit to a good bar would be complete without a Negroni! I tried both the classic Negroni and a Mezcal Negroni… a lovely way to enjoy the cocktail in two different interpretations. The ambiance is fabulous, with the signature red tones creating a distinctive, stylish atmosphere. I absolutely love the vibe here. But what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. The team was genuinely welcoming, adding a lovely touch to the overall experience. One small downside: as a guest not staying at the hotel, I was seated somewhat in a corner. That said, I understand that the best tables are naturally prioritised for in-house guests. Overall, a wonderful spot for a light bite and expertly crafted cocktails in a spectacular setting. The warm hospitality makes all the difference, and I’d happily return for another Negroni or two!

16/09/2026: We were already familiar with this restaurant, having visited several times during previous trips to the area, and I particularly remembered their carbonara. So I ordered it again this time, but unfortunately, it was nothing like I remembered. The pasta arrived lukewarm and, more importantly, very dry, lacking the emulsion of egg, cheese, and pasta water that makes up the essence of carbonara. It wasn't bad, but the texture almost gave the impression of a reheated dish where the pasta had absorbed all the sauce. I want to emphasize that this was just an impression, not that it was actually the case. I mentioned it to the waiter, who explained that there's no cream in a real carbonara, which I already knew perfectly well since it was precisely for their authentic carbonara that I had come back. He assured me the sauce was there and suggested there might have been not enough cooking water for the emulsion. He then said he would check with the kitchen… but never got back to us. What I disliked most, however, wasn't the dish itself. Shortly after, the man I believe to be the owner came out onto the terrace, looked at us from a distance, and laughed. I obviously don't know what caused this laughter or if it had anything to do with our comment, but in that context, the scene was quite unpleasant. When it came time to pay, his unusually friendly tone contrasted so sharply with what had just happened that it left me with a rather strange feeling. A dish can be a dud, it happens, and I probably wouldn't have even left a review for that. It was mainly the way our comment was received, and then left unanswered, that disappointed me. Especially since we knew this establishment at a time when we enjoyed returning and the terrace was much more lively. This time, unfortunately, we left with the feeling that something had changed.

24/09/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. We tried the set menu (which included coq au vin). The service was attentive and the food was exactly what we liked. Quality ingredients and expertise. It's not every day you find such good, home-style cooking and friendly service.

21/09/2026: Lovely staff and authentic atmosphere. Let down by the fish which seemed a little stale. Faith restored by the remarquable Tarte Citron. Also, the dining room is rather small and the tables are quite close together.

27/08/2026: The place is nice, that's all! Today's menu: spicy chicken skewers. The meat was very, very dry, overcooked, and served with fried potatoes that were just okay. At the next table, a couple, very disappointed with their meal, were exclaiming, "It's a pain to pay for such mediocre food!" That says it all! I had the same thought. I'll eat somewhere else next time.

31/07/2026: Amazing place for lunch! The Vegan Avocado Toast is amazing! My husband enjoyed the quinoa chicken salad. The gentleman that served us was kind and helpful and very nice! Absolutely recommend. Quiet place for a good meal near the Eiffel tower. A few tables inside, more outside.

18/06/2026: It was ok and tasty food but considering its reputation we expected something more. Especially the dessert it was just a creme caramel. The pasta was just ok, not exceptional. Portions were small too. Ok service but not the best. In general nice place to eat but we would not visit again...

30/04/2026: The food was so bussing we had to come here twice. The atmosphere is amazing too, not every day you get to enjoy a delicious meal in an old-style castle.

26/04/2026: Stradivarius at the InterContinental Chantilly is a wonderful spot. The dining room is warm and elegant, and the food is simply outstanding. Service is professional and friendly, though the pacing felt a touch rushed. A few more minutes between courses would make for a perfect experience. Highly recommend!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

26/06/2026: We found the hotel very good; the person in charge was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Due to personal reasons, we had to stay in Belves three times. We were very happy with our first night, so we returned the other two times. Its location is excellent, and parking was relatively easy, at least in June when we were there. I recommend it.

07/06/2026: Generous portions and delicious food! We even received a little something extra. I would have loved dessert, but I didn't see any on the menu. But that was just because I had a sweet tooth; I wasn't hungry after my main course. :)

07/08/2026: Great little restaurant in a charming village. They serve fresh, homemade food. The owners are lovely. If you're passing through Montils, don't hesitate to stop by for a delicious and very friendly meal.
