23/06/2026: Hello, I had heard great things about your pastry shop, but now I understand why the young saleswoman didn't show me the pavlova! It was supposed to serve 6 people at 5 euros a slice. It wasn't tall enough, the fruit was minimal, and look at the size (if I may add a photo), it was the size of my hand...it's shameful, barely enough for 4 people, if that. In response to your message left today, I didn't see the dessert because I was only shown a box tied with string. So, I'm not questioning the price of the cake, but the size! As for the pavlova recipe, the meringue isn't flat but hollowed out, not filled with 1 cm of cream and a few scattered fruits. It's a shame you don't consider the quality and quantity of your pastries. Sincerely.

30/09/2026: We are a group of 12 hikers from Bias (47) and booked at Bel'Hem on a whim for our stay (dinner from September 20th to 27th, 2026). A superb discovery in Fouras! The location is ideal, facing the ocean to admire the sunsets. As for the service, the whole team is fantastic: friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The service was quick; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. A great place to recommend!+++++

06/09/2026: I never leave reviews on Google, but after traveling and experiencing bakeries all over France, I find myself saying that none of them even come close to Mr. and Mrs. Carré's bakery. The quality of the service and the products offered is exceptional. This bakery is a gem of the neighborhood.

11/10/2026: Disappointed by the welcome and service. There were five of us, and I called at 8:14 PM to reserve a table. I was offered 9:15 PM, which I accepted. We finally arrived at 9:24 PM, nine minutes late, which I fully acknowledge. However, upon arrival, we were greeted rather unpleasantly. We were immediately told that we wouldn't have time for appetizers, that we had to order our main courses directly, and that the kitchen was about to close. I completely understand the organizational constraints of running a restaurant, but there's a way to communicate with customers. If the restaurant was already unable to comfortably accommodate a table of five at that time, it would have been better not to offer us that reservation slot. What's even more surprising is that the other tables around us, about twenty people in total, received their main courses at the same time as us, and we even left the restaurant before some of them. The pressure put on our group from the moment we arrived seemed quite disproportionate. The food was decent, but the service unfortunately spoiled the experience. A nine-minute delay is certainly something to point out, but it doesn't justify treating customers this way. A little more courtesy and professionalism would have made all the difference. It's a shame, because we had simply come to enjoy a pleasant evening with friends. ——— Good evening, Aurore, Thank you for your reply. However, I would like to clarify that during my call, I was offered a booking slot, which I accepted. My comment primarily concerns the way we were received and the tone used upon our arrival, and not the fact that you have set hours to adhere to. Finally, I find it regrettable that, in response to customer feedback, you chose to end your message with a sarcastic remark about my professional life. It is perfectly acceptable to disagree with an opinion without being disrespectful to the person you are addressing. 06/10/2026: This restaurant is very well located in Alençon, offering a lovely terrace and pleasant service. However, I do find that the sauces are sometimes poured too generously (or the mayonnaise on the deviled eggs). The fries could be homemade. Nevertheless, this is a place not to be avoided, and I'm sure it will improve very quickly!

06/08/2026: One of my favorite restaurants! The dishes are always hot and fresh daily. And it's all-you-can-eat, yet they manage to maintain this quality! The staff is very helpful. The only downside: the desserts, definitely not their strong point. But you enjoy the appetizers, main courses, and naan so much that you usually don't have room left for dessert, lol.

25/09/2026: Hello everyone, I highly recommend this place! I tried the octopus sandwich and it's simply amazing! Perfect seasoning, top-notch taste, perfect portion size, and superb quality. I'll definitely be back to try the restaurant. The owner is lovely, and the servers are too. I highly recommend it!

22/09/2026: Last Saturday, while out for a walk with my wife, we stumbled upon this restaurant. We couldn't resist stopping when we saw the delicious octopus sandwich for €8. Excellent service with a very warm welcome. I highly recommend it! 👍👍

11/07/2026: The bar doesn't look like much, but the atmosphere is warm and lively. We went there for a football match, and it was a real treat; affordable prices, and the manager was incredibly kind! Thank you, I highly recommend it!

02/07/2026: A very unpleasant bartender came to our table several times, including once to berate my deaf sister for being too noisy at 11:30 PM... He came back several times afterward to ask us to finish our drinks even though the bar closed at 1:30 AM. If you don't want to work, you might as well change jobs. I should mention that this gentleman remained glued to his bar, staring at us, with headphones on. We left at 1:20 AM, before the official closing time. I'm sorry there wasn't a match on by then! Clearly, nothing interested him after the game ended.
