26/09/2026: I didn't notice any dining options, perhaps because I didn't arrive until 8:00 PM, but everything looked cozy on the terrace and inside. Upstairs, on the first floor, it was also lively with dancing. The toilets are a bit outdated, which you often see at cozy bars and outdoor cafes.

18/07/2026: After reading other reviews, we must have just caught them on a bad day… The food itself was excellent, everything was perfect, as was the welcome from the owner! The problem was with the service: it took over 45 minutes to be served, and then we were told that a croque madame needed preparation (even though it was on the daily menu). This left us with the impression of a restaurant catering to regulars who order their food in advance, but not to passersby who are served after everyone else. It's a shame, as we came with very high expectations!

12/09/2026: A well-located cabin, simple comfort but a really nice view of the bay. The seafood was very fresh and well-prepared. The sole meunière was delicious. One small drawback: a lack of communication between staff and customers.

28/06/2026: Convenient location, close to the centre of the old town. Cheap parking nearby (the hotel parking was full). Good sized room, with great AC which was necessary given the heat wave. Though beds were extremely hard. Decent bar.

09/10/2026: Great place to go and also buy prepared meals. Superb welcome. The shop itself isn't very appealing. However, the food and service more than make up for this drawback.

17/09/2026: Although it is kosher... the food is mediocre, salty, and delicious. The level has dropped prices sky-high. There is Japanese food but they don't serve it because they ordered it by phone and there is no time for people there. Don't go near it... the food is processed and expensive. Stay away Israelis because you will regret it. It's a shame. Avoid...

27/09/2026: A superb weekend at L’Herbe Tendre! **A truly warm welcome**, excellent cuisine, and the kind of gîte atmosphere we love: simple, friendly, and authentic. The setting is exceptional, in the heart of the Chartreuse mountains, ideal for hikes of all levels. We notably hiked the magnificent Cirque de Saint-Même, a challenging 4-hour trek. **A huge thank you to Élise and Brigitte for their hospitality and kindness. A wonderful place we will gladly return to!**

25/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome as a couple on our 4-day hike in the Chartreuse mountains. The room was lovely and very comfortable. One small drawback: the restaurant is closed on Mondays, even for guests of the gîte. Still wanting to eat out, we had to go elsewhere (which was difficult to find as most restaurants are closed on Mondays).

18/10/2026: A 30-minute wait for a click-and-collect order, a Happy Meal without a toy, with yesterday's expired apple pieces, cold fries, and hastily made burgers! It's shameful.

25/09/2026: Based on the great reviews on the website, we went for lunch. The cocktails were fantastic, and the welche and potjevleesch were excellent, all served by Tristan, a lovely, charming, and very helpful waiter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So we came back in the evening for drinks. We'd spotted some amazing cocktails that were absolutely incredible!!! And Tristan was as pleasant as ever. 👍

25/09/2026: A very good meal with excellent service from our lovely young waiter, Tristan. Delicious cocktails, the Mai Te and the Céleste. I highly recommend it.
