14/07/2026: The food was decent, but the restaurant was very focused on maximizing profits. Charging extra for parmesan with pasta carbonara is really pushing it. Furthermore, the glasses were very dirty and had to be replaced. Finally, a waitress, who seemed to be the manager, was particularly unpleasant. It's a shame, because I used to like this restaurant, but this experience was a real disappointment. I won't be going back.

14/07/2026: At least we ate. We felt rushed (we barely had time to sit down before being asked what we wanted while we were still looking at the menu, then asked if we wanted dessert while we still had our forks in hand), only to wait 30 minutes to be served a very pink chicken and a tasteless sauce for two.

05/07/2026: The fish is expensive but of good quality. The staff is very professional and friendly. They give excellent recommendations and strive to do their job well. My favorites are a guy from Marseille and another slim one who are very attentive. Thanks to them, I've discovered some great products. Whenever I spend my summers there, I prefer to buy good fish here rather than go to restaurants.

30/12/2025: The setting is remarkable and we enjoyed our lunch. Two points of disappointment: it was far too cold in the dining room and the price of the estate's wines was very disappointing (a white wine costing €40 in the shop was billed at €115 in the restaurant).

29/12/2025: I think this is truly the best, or one of the top three restaurants in Bordeaux. Everything is perfect, from the welcome and service to the delicious, expertly prepared dishes. There's really nothing to criticize. Bravo to the whole team! Thank you, keep up the good work! We come back from time to time and we love it!

28/04/2026: A great spot in the Marais, L’As du Falafel is definitely worth a visit! The falafels are excellent and have earned it a great reputation. There’s often a queue, so it’s best to arrive early. Seating is rather limited, but takeaway is always an option.

17/02/2026: I love coming to eat here. The welcome is warm, you feel comfortable, and above all, the food is really excellent: it's delicious.

30/01/2026: Deliveroo order. Shameful portions… A tray of vegetable noodles for €14 that doesn't even contain enough to feed a child. The few frozen vegetables are waterlogged. The same goes for the tiny tray of white rice. The meats in the M1 menu weren't good. Avoid this place if you're hungry.

29/06/2026: Currently on holiday in Corsica, we found this restaurant for lunch and it was a great find! The welcome was excellent, the meal was delicious with fresh ingredients, and the service was quick. I highly recommend it; it's a pleasure to stumble upon this kind of restaurant with such welcoming staff who take such good care of their customers.

14/07/2026: We happened to be passing by and hadn't made a reservation. The service was good, the food was good too, and there was hardly any wait. The only downside was that we don't smoke, but everyone at the tables around us was smoking. Perhaps they could have asked if we wanted to be in a non-smoking area. I thought it was forbidden in public places and on terraces. Nice decor.

14/07/2026: The terrace behind the building is a verdant haven, shaded and cool despite the heatwave. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is good and served in reasonable portions. A great place to spend a pleasant time.

08/03/2026: A warm welcome and comforting, delicious food on a Sunday after 1 p.m. without a reservation, so I highly recommend it, especially in this area :)

18/04/2026: The food was worse than mediocre. We ordered duck breasts that were impossible to cut, they were so tough. We were offered to change our dishes. The ribeye steak served as a replacement proved to be just as tough; we had to give up after barely a third of the way through. As for the fish, hastily defrosted and reheated, it was barely edible. The final surprise came when the bill arrived: we paid for the most expensive dishes, the ones we had ordered by default, not by choice. Neither a restaurateur nor a merchant.
