01/07/2026: Ludo and Lili gave us a fantastic welcome for two friends' birthdays! They took great care of our whole group during the heatwave!

28/06/2026: We booked the downstairs room for a birthday party and everything was perfect, even in the middle of a heatwave! Lili and Ludo were lovely, very accommodating, and always went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend them!

21/05/2026: This place is a real gem! I had a gyro, the bread was perfectly toasted, the meat was delicious and not dry at all. Plus, the price is incredibly reasonable! I highly recommend it.

02/06/2026: I had: - Thai iced tea (4.5/5): tasted quite good and unique - Pad Thai (2.5/5): very mid. This was edible, but I've had much better. - Their sesame dessert (4/5): I liked it, it was something new! It wasn't too sweet which is my preference, but if you like sweet try something else I had 2 wait staff. One was super nice, the other was kind of "frown-y". It could have been the time I came in (around 2pm), but yeah I liked the nicer guy more. The vibe of the place was decent. It's a nice stop for a large group if you don't know where to go. It felt small and intimate, but also not too cozy either. Just like, a good enough stopping spot.

27/05/2026: A truly authentic Thai restaurant with genuine flavors. The €22 set menu (starter/main) is unbeatable: spicy beef salad and beef with green peppercorns served with sticky rice. Excellent!

23/05/2026: Awesome guy, very friendly and patient to take our order. We were just walking by, but the smell coming from inside his restaurant was too good so we decided to walk in and ended up ordering 3 pizzas to take home.

15/07/2026: I've been waiting 20 minutes just to order 2 McFlurries. I'm disappointed. The employees don't see us, nobody moves, they're chatting amongst themselves. Even the one who was supposed to be at the drive-thru isn't there, she's wandering around the restaurant. A manager needs to restore order because when he's not there, the mice will play...

13/07/2026: We wanted to have dinner with friends, having checked online that the restaurant closed at midnight. We arrived at 10:50 PM to find the doors closed. An employee signaled from inside that it was closed. They completely disregarded the advertised closing times.

11/04/2026: Horrible service , the food in the main restaurant is terrible and the service in the restaurant is teribble! The rooms are not that clean. They didn’t add more towels when they were all used. The room was soooooooo hot, the bed is uncomfortable and so are the pillows. In breakfast they charge you money if you ask for fresh orange juice, in the half board they caculate at dinner what you order and the if you exceed 65 euro per person they charge you extra. The only good thing I have to say is about the ski shop - Andy was so lovely and gave us the best service. Bottom line this is not a 5 stars hotel

07/04/2026: Great experience despite reading the mixed reviews. The staffs and conceige were all very friendly and approachable, we had a great time with gd memories of our stay Heated ski lockers and ski in/out was super convenient. Not to mention the ski rental is just beside the lobby. Special mention to the one of the conceige staff ( a young guy sorry we din get his name ) who assisted my hubby with the winter socks for our rental car. He even gave us 2 bottles of water for the road. These kind gestures meant so much to us. Oh the free shuttle to town and back were such a nice touch esp on snowy days. Thank you Altapura for adding fond memories to our French alps adventure. Hope to be back in near future as we are from far away Asia.

19/07/2026: Having celebrated a birthday at this restaurant a few years ago and occasionally returning, I was always satisfied until today... the flavor of the food has changed drastically. My pork in the Alentejana dish was inedible, with a strong, rubbery, and tough taste... I sent the dish back to the kitchen... The lovely waiter offered us a coffee or other drink as an apology, but it wasn't enough to make up for it, as I left hungry. It's a shame; we won't be going back.

I love everything about it, including: - The impeccable hygiene, - The consistency, - The variety, - The speed, - The calm, - All this with a reasonable menu price. I recommend it to my friends; I go there with my clients and suppliers.

08/07/2026: Hello, My friend and I went to this beautiful bar with a Brazilian vibe. It's very cute, the decor and layout are pleasant and well-designed. The servers are all friendly, no problem there. But the problem lies with the food, specifically the tapas and cocktails. We ordered coxinhas and bao buns. Well, they were not at all satisfactory. We have our doubts about the coxinhas being homemade, as the cheese inside wasn't runny at all (even though it said so on the menu). It was dry, even the breadcrumbs looked unappetizing. The same goes for the bao buns. The bread wasn't soft at all, even dry, the meat wasn't tender, and there weren't many peanuts inside. In short, we had a very bad experience. Especially for the price, we were expecting something of higher quality, but no. As for the cocktails, they look beautiful and tempting, but they're not that exceptional. I'm not trying to stir things up, just sharing our experience so you can improve in this area. ;) We won't be back, have a nice day.

17/07/2026: Very tasty and super fresh sushi. Cozy and trendy interior, and the host is pleasant, unforgiving, and fun. Highly recommended in Vars. (and finally, no cheese for a change)

25/06/2026: Honestly, meh. I could have skipped it if the price hadn't been so high. We started with the slice of pastry in a crust at €19 ("porcini mushrooms and foie gras"): I honestly wondered if they'd given me the Metro brand pâté en croûte because I had to search visually and taste for the two ingredients mentioned above. Half a mini iceberg lettuce was thrown on the side, a splatter of fig jam (when homemade chutney would have been better, but who cares, right!), some unidentifiable pickled bits... And the customer is happy! (No!) The octopus (€32): if there's one method that makes octopus so-so but not tough, it's pre-freezing (which I assume is the method used here). It makes the octopus mushy, certainly quick to prepare, but bland. I'm not even going to mention the filling: visually unappealing onions, a muddy mess of eggplant puree, Granny Smith apple, lemon, pomegranate... Where are we going with the taste? Are they just throwing everything in the fridge at random? The dessert: when you call something a "Black Forest cake," it's not a chocolate mousse filled with sour cherry/cherry jam... The concept of transforming a traditional recipe isn't about reducing it to its supermarket version. Sour cherries have a distinctive flavor, which is important in the recipe. And why, as the ultimate experience, do they slap a cherry on top? I'm not going to dwell on that last sentence... Masterclass! I'll just forget about the fact that I had to pour my own wine because, of course, they're also cutting costs on waitstaff (but without reducing the price). In conclusion, it's so-so, bland, and disappointing... A huge letdown. In the past, we would have almost asked for a refund, but in restaurants as impersonal as this one, I didn't even see a manager worthy of the name to listen to my complaint...

04/06/2026: Extremely disappointed... There were about 25 of us, and we were offered a single set menu... From appetizer to dessert, the food was so poor it was unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, simply not good at all!! This restaurant is located in the Pullman Hotel, what terrible publicity for French cuisine... All this at an exorbitant price of over €60!! We were allowed to make a mistake, but no, I won't be repeating the experience...

23/06/2026: First visit... first tasting. The galettes were excellent; we appreciated the crispiness. The filling was beautifully chosen with carefully selected ingredients and spices. The crêpes were a delightful surprise with their rosemary flavor and... I won't reveal everything... I highly recommend you go! Oh, and I almost forgot the welcome... a lovely encounter with the two very professional young people and their smiles, so welcome these days. Thank you! I give it a 100% thumbs up!
