26/05/2026: Unfortunately, this hotel is not ready for prime time and not worth the price that it claims. We stayed here for 1 night and were extremely disappointed by this being open and only half finished. This hotel lacks charm and character, it's empty and cold. The power went out 30 min into our stay and the pool is not open despite it being 100°+ F. The concierge tried their best to make up for all of the shortfalls (and were lovely) but this was a poor choice by management to reopen too soon.

17/05/2026: Excellent Neapolitan pizzas! We order quite often and vary our pizza choices. We've never been disappointed. These pizzas are made with quality ingredients, and I especially appreciate the touch of originality (fig jam, parsley, etc.). Highly recommended!

03/07/2026: It was a pleasure to rediscover this terrace by the Seine, the only one in the Melun area. While they only offered one dish, the couscous on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, was simply delicious. I highly recommend it.

05/05/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The atmosphere at La Madeleine is both warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to the owner, Arthur, for his kindness and helpfulness, as well as to his entire team. As for the food, the dishes are always excellent. Go without hesitation!

19/04/2026: I must admit I was very surprised by the high nutritional quality of this takeaway meal for €10. You get meat, rice, a nice little salad, three spring rolls, and chicken—all for €15! Honestly, I guarantee you it was delicious. I highly recommend it. You'll receive excellent service; the woman is very friendly and helpful, and the gentleman in the kitchen is very kind. Believe me, I'll be back to eat at your place.

08/05/2026: What a memorable experience… if your dream is to pay €50 to €80 per person to be treated like a walking wallet. We came hoping to discover authentic Japanese cuisine. Instead, we discovered a sales pitch for the Wagyu menu, pushed with almost touching insistence. It's the first time in my life I've felt so pressured in a restaurant as if I were dealing with a phone company. There was also a brief moment of grace when we simply asked for room-temperature water instead of ice-cold, and the manager replied, "They can just drink hot water." That's service in its most minimalist form, no doubt. As for the food, let's just say that at this price point, Paris is overflowing with infinitely better restaurants, offering genuine hospitality and quality that justifies the bill. In short, an excellent place… to recommend to your enemies.

27/02/2026: The starters and main courses were well-prepared. However, the desserts were a complete disaster, especially the profiteroles, whose choux pastry was rock hard... why use frozen ingredients? It's better to make a simple and satisfying dessert (tarts, chocolate mousse, etc.) than something pretty but tasteless. It's a real shame to end a meal on such a negative note. As for the service, it was chaotic and needed a complete overhaul (one person took our order... five minutes later, another asked if we'd received it). Finally, the wine selection by the glass was limited to red, white, and rosé. That was also disappointing. Does this make us want to go back? Unfortunately not.

20/02/2026: The place is quite old-fashioned. First of all, we were very cold, and the waitress set up electric heaters which she then promptly turned off without warning. The parking lot is gloomy and full of potholes. The food is passable, nothing special. But the price is high considering the quality of the food. I won't be back.

16/05/2026: A lovely hotel with charm. The entrance area/lobby is cozy, ideal for relaxing with a drink. The breakfast area and the breakfast itself are good. The rooms are functionally furnished, although the hallway outside is rather dark. Parking is available upon request, just a few minutes away. The reception staff were very friendly.

05/05/2026: Hotel in a quiet city center. The 4-star rating doesn't seem justified to me. Bathroom needs updating, bedding is worn, and breakfast is minimal.
