06/09/2026: Once again (and yes, we stop here every time we're in the area 😉), a warm welcome, and this time even better: 4:30 pm, sweltering heat, we ordered two Perrier with slices... No more lemons! No problem, the chef went to buy some at the nearby shop... We asked if there was anything left to eat... (being on our motorbikes, we hadn't eaten lunch)... The waiter replied, "Nothing except ice cream... But the chef has just finished preparing fresh spinach ravioli..." 😁... In just a few minutes, we were on our way to two courses 😅... What a delicious "snack" 😋 honestly, while everyone else was eating ice cream, our table was already set... Where do you see that... Well, at the Café de la Fontaine... Thank you!

20/10/2026: Be careful not to buy seeds individually; they're expired, contaminated, or something else. I bought almonds and a vitality mix; I hope I don't get sick. It's a shame.

17/07/2026: Passing through the area and feeling quite hungry, I decided to try a mixed salad and a sandwich. Everything was fresh, and the service was friendly and welcoming. A lovely bakery; everything looked delicious. I'll be back.

16/09/2026: This is our 10th stay at Hotel Europe. The value for money is fantastic. The location is perfect, and the rooms are very clean. And best of all, the wonderful, incredibly friendly hosts. 06/10/2026: As regulars of the chicken pasta takeaway for under €20 (€17/€18) for two, with bread and parmesan packets, we were sorely disappointed: The parmesan is an extra €2.50! Supposedly there's parmesan in it... Tasteless (they used to have shavings in the pasta). The bread is gone. And the price... €23.50... well... if only the taste were there... but it isn't. You're killing what Vélobre used to be...

04/10/2026: Having come last night with friends, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes; the tagliatelle Carbonara was excellent. I wanted to particularly thank the new waitress who provided a warm and pleasant welcome; I wish her good luck for the future.

17/10/2026: I came to the restaurant with friends, but I couldn't eat couscous or tagine due to health reasons. The menu offered no other options (no salads or alternative dishes), and the only solution the restaurant suggested was to order a children's menu (also based on couscous). The staff were very haughty and aggressive when I expressed my disagreement. Nothing was done to find a compromise; quite the opposite, in fact. This establishment should be avoided for its lack of professionalism and its inability to properly treat its customers.

10/10/2026: So, regarding the restaurant, their food is actually quite good, but the owners are very unpleasant and not at all receptive to minor criticisms. I really didn't appreciate their welcome, and that makes all the difference. I will never go back, that's for sure, and I definitely don't recommend it. The price is still high for the amount of food.

23/07/2026: We stayed here for one night with our 3 children (aged 4 to 11) during a heatwave. Upon checking in late at 22:30, the room was boiling hot. The staff admitted that they forgot to turn on the AC in advance because they 'missed our booking in the right computer', even though we booked 2 weeks prior. The front desk promised the room would cool down in 1-2 hours, but the AC barely blew any air. I ended up sleeping only 3 hours after placing a wet towel on my back to survive the heat. When Hotels.com tried to call the hotel the next morning to resolve the issue, the hotel staff hung up on them 3 times in a row. They offered a 15 € breakfast discount for the kids on checkout, but that does not compensate for a completely sleepless night for a family of five. Avoid this hotel if you travel with children during summer.

19/05/2026: Speaking of the Brasserie alone: ​​very good, home-style cooking, a welcome change from the pretentiousness of many other restaurants in Albi. Whelks and prawns with aioli for starters, followed by a delicious veal sauté with olives, and a fruit mousse to finish. All for just over €20. A glass of good Gaillac wine, €4.50.

24/08/2026: What a lovely discovery! ​What a delightful surprise this tiny place in Briançon is! ​The atmosphere is warm and the service is simply top-notch: such a kind and attentive welcome that makes you feel pampered from the first to the last minute. ​As for the food, it's a delight! The food is truly excellent, but special mention goes to their escargots: incredibly tasty, mouth-watering! And as a final touch, the blueberry tart was a real hit, the perfect end to a great lunch. ​Hats off to all the staff. Thank you very much and see you soon!

13/08/2026: In short: mediocre value for money. Almost no dishes under €20: at these prices, we expected better quality. The burger bun was dry, and €26 for a fried sausage with no attempt at presentation. Sure, the sausage is truffle-flavored, but we're still looking for it. And the goat cheese salad is really basic. They could do better at these prices…

31/08/2026: During 2+ wonderful weeks traipsing around côte d’azure & corse, one of our most magical moments happened during an impromptu afternoon visit to la grande cave in villefranche-sur-mer. Leslie & co welcomed us warmly to a charming little nook for some cheese and amazing wine. My wife’s expression says it all! This is a perfect spot to capture the joy of this wonderful little seaside village.

24/10/2026: A very good all-you-can-eat buffet, especially the seafood, and the owner is very friendly.

23/10/2026: Passing through Rennes with colleagues for professional training. We started looking for an Asian restaurant and came across "Le Lotus d'Asie." A classic, simple, but efficient all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. The restaurant offers plenty of seating to accommodate a large number of people, and the decor is pleasant, perfectly matching the restaurant's theme. The buffet is located in the center of the restaurant, conveniently situated for quick and easy access. They offer a wide variety of dishes, typical of Asian restaurants, including fried foods, cold dishes, and wok dishes. I have nothing negative to say about it; it was delicious. My only slight complaint is the dessert selection; I think there's a real lack of variety... I recommend it!

27/07/2026: A customer of this bakery for over 20 years, I still haven't found better. The breads, pastries, and other baked goods are all delicious; go there without hesitation. It's a bit pricey, it's true, but when you love something, price is no object.

25/07/2026: Best croissant you can get. The price is a little bit higher than average cafes in paris but its worth for the taste. Other options are still good but not as the croissant.
