27/08/2026: The by far worst stay during our 14 days bike trip through France, three rooms (24, 25 and 26) on the ground floor are completely unacceptable - loud, many people pass by; instead of an intended c7-8 hours sleep I ended up with c4, as the guests above my room did not get to sleep before 2 pm and you can hear every single step, at 6 am the trash cans were empties, pulled to the road directly in front of our room; I would not take this room for free; very unfriendly person at reception. - The generally positive reviews can only come from rooms higher up in the hotel. I strongly recommend to check what rooms you get when you book a room!!

19/06/2026: Fabulous location on top of a hill. Good hearty food at good prices. And a fantastic brewery next door. Also a good starting point for some local hiking. The rooms are not great, but functional.

03/10/2026: The welcome is warm and the food is excellent (and made to order in the case of the cordon bleu, for example). What more could you ask for?

22/09/2026: A lovely little restaurant. We had a wonderful meal. The service was very pleasant, as was the terrace by the water. Highly recommended.

05/09/2026: Very disappointed. The pickle sandwich was excellent the first time, but the second time the chicken wasn't crispy at all 😞. And a quick word about the fries, which were awful... So we won't be back.

31/07/2026: I highly recommend this pastry shop, where we always stop by for breakfast and pastries when we arrive at Orly Airport. Their products are fresh, the ladies who served us were friendly, and we were very pleased; the items we ate were truly fresh.

30/08/2026: Nicely situated under trees, you can also sit outside in the pedestrian zone of Haguenau. Typical French style. Delicious sweets like croissants, cakes, and éclairs. They also speak German. Café au lait (coffee with milk) outside is €3.10. I'll be back and I'll take some croissants with me. Bon séjours et au revoir. Jens

16/08/2026: La Farandole pastry shop. A nice little spot in the summer, right in the city center. Enjoy a hazelnut latte and a Paris-Brest on the terrace. Worth checking out.

Beyond a menu that combines quality ingredients and culinary expertise in generous portions, the servers make you feel comfortable and are always attentive to your needs. Ultimately, La Brizolée is that essential place you look for when you want to enjoy what truly matters: spending quality time with family or friends. From the Doubs region, we'll miss this restaurant as much as we miss our vacation!

19/09/2026: Absolutely terrible food, bad cuisine

19/08/2026: There were four of us, and we were really disappointed by this restaurant. The staff were completely unprofessional, the waiter was unpleasant, spoke too loudly, and wasn't at all accommodating... a duck breast served as a single piece in a soup plate! We managed to cut it, but it wasn't easy or pleasant. And to top it off, they sent the wrong side dish. We ended up with a bowl of soggy fries that were more brown than golden. We won't be going back and strongly advise against it, especially at the end of the holidays. Lunch at a restaurant should be a pleasure, never a bad memory.

16/10/2026: The setting is a bit dated. The food is very good (except for the dessert, which was probably defrosted...). The staff is very helpful and friendly. The DJ and the dancers and singers are also very good. The price-quality ratio is reasonable.

10/08/2026: ⭐ Very disappointing review I used to come to this ice cream shop about ten years ago, and unfortunately, I found that the establishment had changed a great deal. I bought a pastry for €6.70 and was very disappointed: I found it very greasy, very sweet, and particularly dense, with a price-quality ratio that didn't convince me. I was also quite bothered by what seemed to me to be very questionable hygiene. The bin was overflowing, which gives a bad impression when you're there to eat in. Finally, I was served a glass of water in a very hot glass, which is quite surprising for serving water. It's a real shame, because I had fond memories of this place ten years ago. For me, today's experience is far from what I had known before.

10/08/2026: To think this place used to be a Marseille institution, the delicious pastries are definitely a thing of the past… a Castel and a caramel mille-feuille at €6.70 each… how can I put it? A taste of grease and sugar in the mouth, and a far from warm welcome… In short, I won't be going back; there's no point with pastries this bad.

03/10/2026: I strongly advise against going there. The wait was incredibly long, the sandwich was soggy and disgusting, and the fries were hard. On top of that, the staff didn't wear gloves, they went to smoke and didn't wash their hands afterward, going right back to making sandwiches. The hygiene was questionable. And they've recently changed ownership.

14/09/2026: I'd like to leave a review about the waiter. The customer before us was served at their table, but when it was our turn, he asked us to go get our order! And no mention of the magic word, please! I hope you recognize yourselves! I asked the guy for a salad instead of fries! Surprise, a salad with no dressing! I'll never go back to that fast-food place again.

07/10/2026: It's so great to have a spot on the street with top-notch craft beers on tap! Special mention to the raspberry sour. All brewed by them in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. The food is really cool too, when will they open on Sundays for the F1 race?

05/10/2026: Not very welcoming. There was hardly anyone there during the week, and I had to chase after them to get served. The waiter got annoyed when I asked questions. It's a shame, because the place is beautiful.

19/08/2026: Popped in after a terrible experience at a nearby fish restaurant, just for a quick drink and snack. The man that served us was incredibly polite and helpful.

19/08/2026: Very friendly waiter. Quick service. Food made with fresh ingredients. Ideal location. No complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be back.
