16/02/2026: Appalling! I called yesterday to ask if they were open on Saturday, March 7th, around 5:45 PM, as the three of us will be arriving from Grenoble and won't have any food for the evening. The owner told me she didn't know, that it would depend on her mood. I thought she was joking, but no, she was quite serious! I found it unbelievable, and I don't think she'll see us during the entire week we'll be spending in Huez.

19/07/2026: Stopped in for a coffee and breakfast with products from the bakery next door. Great welcome, lovely location, it's simple, efficient, and pleasant. Everything you could ask for in a nice spot like this. As a bar manager for over 20 years, I know a server who wants to spread good cheer, and that was definitely the case here. We'll be back.

01/06/2026: Fantastic tea room! The owner radiates joy 🙂 It's such a pleasant place, and the pastries and mint tea are delicious! I highly recommend it for afternoon tea.

15/04/2026: Unfortunately, this place lacks Moroccan decor. It has potential, though. What a shame. I ordered a pot of mint tea and a honey crepe. The tea was bland. There were few tea leaves, very few mint leaves, and it wasn't sweet enough. I asked for more sugar and a few extra mint leaves. The honey crepe was good. It cost me €7.

19/07/2026: Excellent experience! Warm welcome, generous portions. We asked for a mixed fish platter that we had enjoyed last year but which was no longer offered. The very friendly owner came to tell us she would make it for us anyway. It was a real treat, and to keep us occupied while we waited, she brought us a plate of grilled vegetables, which were excellent! If you want to eat good fish, I highly recommend it! 😁

22/05/2026: A very bad experience at this bar. I was served a drink with mold in it, and when I say mold, I also mean a very short bartender who spat in my drink. Unfortunately for him, I saw it right away. I even kept the evidence! This is completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. When I reported it, the staff's reaction was inadequate. Frankly, this seriously calls into question the cleanliness of the establishment and the quality of the service. I will not be returning and I strongly advise against going to this place.

19/03/2026: It's a shame, the setting is beautiful, but the service and bad faith... they spilled our tray on us (it happens, that's not the point), but we had to ask for the missing drinks (the ones that fell) at least twice after a 10-minute wait. And when we paid, we asked for "a small gesture" for the inconvenience, and they told us it could be double because if the waiter dropped his tray, it was practically our fault! That's the last straw! 🙃

27/07/2026: Expensive sushi, a 50-minute wait for mediocre quality. I do not recommend it.

18/07/2026: A very nice restaurant, the setting is pleasant, the service is excellent, and the waitress had a lovely smile. The meal was prepared with beautiful ingredients and enhanced with delicious sauces. For me, this restaurant was perfect; thank you for ending my vacation with this wonderful memory.

21/06/2026: They could do better. I took my sons to a birthday party. The entertainer arrived 15 minutes late, which meant the children lost 15 minutes of fun. The juice box for the birthday party was lukewarm, and they'd clearly never seen a fridge... given the heat that day, over 30 degrees Celsius... No air conditioning... In short... They could do better considering the price of a birthday party at their place.

21/06/2026: Very disappointed with this year. My son participated in the entire season, and it's clear that the promised commitments were not met. Training sessions regularly started 15 minutes late, and throughout the second half of the year, the few technical workshops virtually disappeared, replaced by simple matches. There was no personalized attention for the children, no real structured progression, and the coaches seemed more interested in their cell phones than in training. His school coach taught him more in the playground than they did in 32 sessions! Despite several complaints from parents throughout the year, nothing changed. Some even chose to withdraw their children before the end of the season. Ultimately, there was a significant gap between the promises made and the reality on the ground.

28/06/2026: We arrived for a drink on the terrace and waited 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order (there was no one else on the terrace). The waitress didn't say a word and got our order wrong. Then a waiter served us with the same lack of courtesy—not a smile or a word. The café is well located, but the staff just makes you want to leave.

27/06/2026: I was disappointed by the waiter's welcome. From the moment we arrived, his attitude was cold and unpleasant. In particular, he threw the slips of wine down abruptly and disrespectfully, which gave a very bad first impression. It's a shame, because the establishment is well located, easily accessible, and the setting is pleasant. Unfortunately, the quality of the service did not live up to the rest of the experience.

26/07/2026: The food was decent enough, but nothing special. The burger bun was over-toasted, and the Lyonnaise salad could have been better. Overall, rather disappointing. The service was pleasant. A restaurant that won't leave a lasting impression, which is a shame.

26/07/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I had to! The food is of very poor quality… I ordered a Savoyard burger, it was the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger and as dry as plaster. My partner's salad had very little filling, and the ham was simply Fleury Michon brand. The portion size of each dish is very small. I absolutely do not recommend it!

15/07/2026: Regarding the food, atmosphere, and beer: No complaints, the portions were good and generous, and the atmosphere was festive. Regarding the service: I went downstairs to ask for a carafe of water and a beer, and they told me they didn't serve carafes of water. An hour and a half later, my friend came downstairs to ask for a carafe of water, and by some miracle, lo and behold, a carafe of water arrived. I don't usually comment, but when someone treats me like an idiot, I play along.

10/07/2026: New review: I went back yesterday for the France-Morocco trip and everything was great, I'm raising my rating by 2 points for that. Well done on the organization, which has improved significantly. Previous review May 2022: You can't get any slower than this. It's a slowness simulator.

21/05/2026: Cafe located in Place Pie across from Les Halls. Lots of comfortable seating inside and outside. There are mostly shaded tables and some sunny tables. Service is excellent. We have settled on this cafe after using several others over the years. Nice cafe for cafe and croissants or a lite lunch. Recommended. The Nutella and sugar/citron crepes were very good.

21/07/2026: We stopped for a quick meal on the evening of July 21st on our way to our holiday destination. I was a little worried after reading the last review, especially since we didn't want to stay long. But it was perfect for us! Very quick service, and we were served by a really pleasant and friendly waitress. (A nice bonus: for a weeknight at 10:00 PM, the restrooms were clean.) In short, it was perfect for us.
