25/04/2026: I finally got to try this kebab shop in the heart of Valdahon (easy parking) during one of my visits. The place is small but welcoming and has everything you need. There's a terrace outside, set back from the street. The owner is very friendly. They have drinks for all tastes (for me: Coke Zero or equivalent, and Ayran, which is all I expect from a snack bar - but not all of them offer it). The fries are very good (quality and cooked perfectly) and not pre-salted (everyone can add salt to their liking); the durum wrap and the white sauce are also delicious. Yum! Impeccable, and the portions are very generous for a reasonable price. Since I can't drive back down to Besançon with the low sun in my eyes, this is a place I can easily stop by while waiting for it to set.

27/04/2026: Excellent brasserie! The atmosphere is friendly and you immediately feel at ease. The service is quick, efficient, and always with a smile. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. A pleasant place to eat well and have a good time. I highly recommend it!

15/04/2026: The atmosphere is typical of a shopping mall… The menu is nice and simple. But unfortunately, the dish I ordered, a Caesar salad, was depressing and worthy of McDonald's: - a few bagged croutons - a precooked Metro egg - bagged salad, the kind you'd find at a discount store, and not very fresh - industrial dressing - disgusting reconstituted breaded chicken. €17.50 for a fast-food-worthy dish! A Cannes-level price for a salad in an Auchan shopping mall. Avoid it!

07/06/2026: Best burger and fries ever. A ribeye steak to share, a good glass of wine, and a great atmosphere—it has it all. If you're passing through, don't hesitate; the locals already know it's the best place for lunch or takeaway. They're lovely.

29/05/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Le Patio des Garrigues, just a stone's throw from Nîmes. The place is magnificent, peaceful, and a real escape, with superb plane trees, a lovely terrace, and an almost idyllic atmosphere where you immediately feel like you're on vacation. But what we truly loved most was Laurence. We have rarely been welcomed with such kindness, generosity, and attentiveness. Laurence literally went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always with a smile and incredible thoughtfulness. Thanks to her, we had a wonderful time and shared unforgettable moments with friends. You can tell she loves hosting and making people happy, and that makes all the difference. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, both for its location and for the exceptional warmth and hospitality. Thank you again, Laurence!

22/04/2026: Excellent restaurant and generous portions. Two herring fillets with warm potatoes and a sirloin steak with pepper sauce were very delicious, as was the homemade fruit salad. I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: Overall, it was good, although the mattress was worn out. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was quite varied: ham, cheese, raw and hard-boiled eggs, all kinds of bread, yogurt, and much more.

13/04/2026: I often go to Gone Truck; the service is always great and the atmosphere is very pleasant, and frankly, the food is super delicious. I recommend it to everyone; the value for money is excellent.

25/06/2026: What a great guy who leaves his AC on all night to wake up to a cool morning... (during a heatwave)! Such wonderful ecological and environmental values. And I won't even mention the fact that he leaves everything open to the outside during the day with the AC blasting. 👏👏👏🤡

06/07/2026: I'm unfortunately disappointed with my experience here. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, which was really not good. I was served truffle pasta shells that resembled sickening mashed potatoes. I was later told they didn't have enough ingredients to make my dish, so they made do with what they had… I did appreciate being offered a different dish at the end. The service wasn't great: while some of the servers were a bit dismissive, others were very kind and tried their best to make up for each other's mistakes.

09/06/2026: "A quality establishment," as evidenced by numerous awards over the years, and it's clear that it's entirely deserved, with a very reasonable price for the three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) at around €20. The quality of the ingredients, the flavors, and the friendly service are all part of the package. It's a real gem, an establishment that exudes the rigor and experience of true professionals, not to mention good humor and a welcoming atmosphere. Bravo!

07/06/2026: During a business trip, I noticed the brightly lit signs for this restaurant. From the main highway, my attention was caught, and I stopped to try the meat, drawn by the neon sign depicting a cow. I'm probably too used to it, but I've never seen such a wide selection of different cuts of beef, with different aging periods. I try a 500g steak with the family's signature sauce. Again, probably accustomed to a different way of cooking, I don't fully appreciate the flavor of the meat, probably because it's marinated in too much garlic, which overwhelms the flavor, and the meat is still difficult to cut and chew. The flavor is too strong for me, even though the meat is high-quality, but I have trouble chewing it. I also took the opportunity to try the fondue, with soft pieces of bread to dip in, a dish I enjoyed very much. A good glass of typical white wine to accompany everything. And to finish, a good espresso from a well-known Italian company, well-extracted and of high quality considering it's a single-origin blend. I'm not entirely satisfied with the value for money, but it's still considered a good restaurant.
