29/09/2026: Definitely avoid this place, it's a tourist trap... I ordered fried calamari and prawns with a side salad for €29. When the dish arrived, one prawn was even smaller than a shrimp. The fried calamari was tiny, and I was still hungry after finishing my plate. And then there was the carbonara pasta with barely a dozen pieces of pasta and hardly any sauce for €19. The service was catastrophic. The waitresses weren't smiling, they seemed annoyed by our visit. When it came time to pay, I asked for contactless, but the owner insisted on having my credit card in his hand to process it himself. I said no, I'll do it myself. He was very unhappy. Why?

25/09/2026: A waitress who does the bare minimum; don't count on her to recommend a dish or a wine, or to bring you a carafe of water, let alone smile. I ordered pasta carbonara, and the pancetta was nothing but fat. When we pointed this out, there were no apologies or gestures of goodwill, which completely put us off having dessert at this establishment. Go elsewhere; there are plenty of much better places in Le Lavandou.

18/10/2026: At first glance, it's nice, but the value for money is very poor. And yet, I've known it for a long time, but the quality has really dropped. On a scale of 20, I give it a 3 because the value for money is so bad. My last meal there was on October 18, 2026, for 42 euros per person, and I barely ate anything. Sorry! But you have to improve the quality of your food to get me back.

10/09/2026: Avoid at all costs: refuses customers of color. The owner is mean and unpleasant. After years of living in the neighborhood, everyone knows he's a despicable person.

05/09/2026: Horrible rude owner who wouldn't let us sit to have drinks and tapas because they apparently had reservations and so many free tables, don't recommend unless you like french rudeness!

25/05/2026: As a regular customer of Sura Sushi in Martigues, I can say without hesitation that it's the best sushi around! The quality is consistently excellent: the ingredients are fresh, well-prepared, and you can really taste the difference. The prices are also very reasonable considering the quality, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. Special mention also goes to the warm welcome and kindness of the staff, who are always smiling, pleasant, and attentive. You truly feel at home every time you visit. I highly recommend it!

01/09/2026: A pleasant spot, even though it's close to the road. Simple but well-prepared food. Unbeatable value for money. A good stop for everyone, including hikers on the Canal du Midi.

24/07/2026: The welcome was appalling, aggressive, and hateful. Having just pitched our tent at the campsite, I was sweating and had stayed shirtless to order bread and croissants for the next morning. Thinking I'd have dinner at the restaurant that evening, I walked to the establishment, just ten meters from the campsite entrance, to look at the menu (at the entrance, without actually going in!). That's when this individual verbally assaulted me, criticizing my indecent attire and telling me that this wasn't a campsite… (and all this with extreme verbal abuse!)… absolutely avoid this place, especially for campers who are clearly not welcome in this restaurant…

29/07/2026: It's a wonderful place. Quiet, simple, but with all the comfort you need. Rooms are spacy and beds are comfortable. There's a swiwwing pool that you can use anytime. The same for jacuzzi, sauna and gym. The evening meals are delicious, big portions too. We have never had such a tasty Riesling before. Drinks and food are local of course. Having breakfast in nature amid the mountain forest - what can you wish more.

05/06/2026: Fabulous place, the receptionist is a very warm, attentive and incredibly kind person, thank you for this great stay, I recommend it.

31/07/2026: A quick lunch break during a visit to Lille at this lovely, unpretentious little restaurant. The menu is local and pleasantly limited. The quality is excellent. All in a simple and friendly atmosphere. Located right next to the covered market. I highly recommend it. It's a great find. It's about a ten-minute walk from the main square, the service is better, and the prices are half as much.

26/08/2026: A cold welcome on top of the not-so-warm outside temperature. We're still looking for the 4-star rating in the reviews. To begin with, we were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace facing the canal or on the regular terrace. Then, in the end, there was no choice. Because the tables set weren't the ones facing the canal, and they didn't want to set them for the arriving customers. Then, an unfriendly waitress who criticized customers as they left and spent her time complaining. The peach syrup is a challenge; try to find the peach in your glass. The starter was mediocre, €8 for half a plate. The charcuterie platter came from a Super U supermarket tray. Not worthy of an "Italian" restaurant. The goat cheese platter was good, but there was only one goat cheese croquette. The main courses were also mixed. The pasta carbonara wasn't carbonara. Just pasta with cream (very little) and bacon bits straight from a tray, barely cooked. Luckily, there was salt and pepper on the table to season it. It was better than it had been straight from the kitchen. And we were glad we had some because the table next to us didn't and asked for ours. The second course wasn't any better. Goat cheese and speck ham cannelloni. Without speck. Three tiny pieces of ham with fat practically fighting each other and tasteless goat cheese. You mostly taste the accompanying tomato sauce. It was also unpleasant to have our plates taken away as soon as we finished. A little more and they would have taken it away before we could even take the last bites. Philippe Etchebest should come and give cooking and service lessons. Because seeing the waiters and cooks go outside to smoke in front of you during service should not be acceptable. Nor a waitress who was unpleasant and turned away customers, practically shoving them from their tables. Even though there were still seats available and it was only 12:30 PM. Luckily, a waiter in a pink polo shirt raised the bar and the bill.

25/08/2026: Excellent little restaurant. Passing through for the holidays, the macaronade was fantastic. The service was also excellent. We'll be back.

26/06/2026: The delivery rider told me to wait for 10 minutes. He kept me waiting for 15 minutes, claiming only 5 minutes had passed and asking me to wait another five. I didn't like his behavior.
