30/05/2026: A warm welcome and impeccable cuisine. I've been a regular at this establishment for four years, having previously worked as a waiter. If I return with my wife, it's because we've always been so well received. I've worked with professionals, and hospitality is paramount, which is exactly what I found at this establishment.

23/04/2026: The Mario Galaxy meal, which costs an arm and a leg, is served haphazardly without a box or anything, just a coin thrown into the bottom of a bag. Well done, McDonald's!

17/04/2026: McDonald's is a small but very clean restaurant with fast service. Coloring sheets and crayons are available for children.

06/07/2026: Whether you're dining for two or five, you'll receive the same attentive service. The food is delicious and far superior to all-you-can-eat restaurants. The presentation is beautiful and the staff very welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

06/05/2026: A bar with fantastic vintage decor. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. A place where you feel comfortable having a drink and relaxing without being surrounded by noise. A real gem!

04/04/2026: Saturday stroll in Saint-Malo! The bar had a nice decor and the waiter was very welcoming, but everything fell apart as soon as we sat down. The bartender (presumably the owner) preferred not to sell anything rather than serve customers. There were five adults and four children in our party, and the children didn't want to drink. He made his annoyance perfectly clear: "Four drinks when there are nine of you..." And we were about to be joined by even more. The bar was empty. Bretons are generally welcoming and very friendly. He must not be one of them! And when you don't want to work... or maybe you weren't up to the standard of your establishment! Shame on him! We clearly don't all have the same definition of the word "business owner"! We ended up at Charlie's Bar a little further up the street! Great welcome there, and we ordered as many drinks as we wanted.

07/05/2026: At 8:43 PM, I wanted to have a coffee. I was told it was impossible because I had cleaned the machine knowing that it closes at 10 PM. I was told that he does what he wants. If he doesn't need customers, he should just say so.

09/07/2026: The young man at the drive-thru was very rude; he didn't say hello or goodbye, and he had the nerve to tell me "next" while I was placing my order. Furthermore, it's not a huge deal, but I waited 11 minutes. (And I've read many of your responses to reviews; please spare me the same old refrain about my opinion being taken into account. It's becoming contemptuous of your customers.)

07/07/2026: Very warm welcome and Massila was a great waitress!

20/07/2026: It all started with a lukewarm welcome; we felt a bit like we were bothering them just to have a drink on the terrace. A funny thing is, you can only pay by card for orders over €10, which is always a shame when, thinking you're living in the 21st century, you don't have any cash on you, you've ordered €8 worth of drinks, and you end up having to use two spoons to get a scoop of ice cream to exceed the electronic payment limit. With a smile. Oh no, not again.

23/06/2026: I ordered a draft beer and a kir. The prices displayed were different when I went to pay. I pointed this out to the waitress after paying, and her response was that the menu wasn't up to date and there would be no refund! This kind of practice has a name... I think! So I'll get my drinks elsewhere; there are plenty of options... and then the shopkeepers say it's difficult. What about the consumers?

23/07/2026: Fantastic find! A wide selection of pastries and viennoiseries, everything is delicious. And as a bonus, all the staff are lovely!

20/07/2026: Delicious croissants and baguettes. Everything else looked very tasty and fresh too. It's definitely worth a detour.

14/07/2026: We were rather disappointed with our 3-night stay at the Château de Bricquebec. Our room wasn't cleaned once during our stay, even though we were in the Queen's Room. Upon arrival, the room was clean but not spotless (water droplets on the bathroom floor, cobwebs). The restaurant is very beautiful. We ate well enough. However, for a restaurant that seems to want to project a certain image of luxury, two or three peanuts or a small amuse-bouche with the aperitif would have been appreciated. Only two of the four starters on the menu were available... a fish soup or a cauliflower velouté... in the middle of July, that's not very appealing; a simple tomato and mozzarella salad would have sufficed. We also regretted the lack of a cheese course; after all, we're in Normandy! I would, however, like to mention the kindness and professionalism of the waiter, which wasn't easy for him under these circumstances. We expressed our disappointment upon departure, and there was another huge disappointment...not even a gesture of goodwill, we were even treated rather condescendingly. Just a little advice for the future...don't forget that it's the tourists (part of your clientele, I assume) who keep you afloat.

21/02/2026: The crepes were half burnt. I asked for takeout and they were served on a piece of paper. In short, a ruined dessert. What a shame, the rest of the meal was okay. Honestly, they really need to improve; it's truly shameful.

18/02/2026: I wanted to congratulate the Flunch team. We arrived early, at 11:30 am, because we had an appointment afterward. The whole team was fantastic: those setting up the food, the cashier, the meat cooks, the ice cream maker... truly exceptional politeness, kindness, and smiles to boot. It's true it was the beginning of service, but it was a real pleasure. Thank you, keep up the good work! 👏🏻

04/07/2026: Whether for a romantic dinner or a family meal, this is an address I wholeheartedly recommend. The welcome and service are impeccable. Not to mention the quality and flavor of the food. "Le Plateau Ottoman" is a true delight.

02/07/2026: Terrible treatment from the owners. The food is very pricy and not fresh. Major tourist trap due to the nice interior. Save your self a headache and go grab a bit on the beach near the corner

02/07/2026: Stumbled apon this restaurant when we arrived for a short visit to Banyuls today. Have to say it's the best pizza me, my husband and my 9 year old have had in a long time! So tasty and the price and range on offer it very good! Would definitely recommend!

05/05/2026: I ate there: it's really expensive for what it is. The menu doesn't justify the price, and the desserts were clearly frozen… what a shame. I strongly advise against it; it's not good value for money.

06/04/2026: The welcome was, how shall I say, unlike anything I've ever experienced at this inn. The owner and his wife seem tired and worn down by pilgrims who are too... well, pilgrims whose owners give bad advice, claiming he enjoys instilling fear in them. Perhaps after 28 years of loyal service, it's time to move on and avoid appearing... incompetent to the clientele other than the locals who enjoy having drinks at lunchtime and in the evening with the owners. In short, two people probably unhappy because of their clientele... but who persevere and do their best to satisfy them.
