29/04/2026: Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly. The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

24/03/2026: The price did not reflect what was served on the plate: the scallops had rings in the scallop meat that hadn't been removed and were overcooked.

13/10/2026: Terrible, not good, and a long wait for four people to be served. Nothing like the McDonald's of yesteryear. I'll never set foot in this chain again.

11/10/2026: It's a shame, a young girl served me. She spoke very vulgarly; this girl has no business interacting with customers. She wasn't pleasant and should take some customer service lessons. It's a shame this person is tarnishing the brand. Otherwise, everything was perfect. McDonald's needs to review its hiring practices. It's a pity there were other, more mature women who were busy elsewhere; unfortunately, they can't be everywhere at once.

28/08/2026: We had a very good meal there (mussels and fries and fisherman's platter) during the night market, and the owner and servers were very welcoming. I personally recommend it.

04/08/2026: Their regular croissants are the best in the neighborhood, by far. Make sure you choose the "regular" ones, the ones that are shaped like a crescent. 🥐

12/10/2026: After a 35-minute wait and two reminders from me, the waitress finally came to take our order, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. To be fair, she had to manage the constant stream of Uber Eats orders and also take care of her baby, who was crying non-stop. Then we found a piece of plastic in our samosas… no compensation whatsoever for all these inconveniences, and we paid for our two drinks anyway. We won't be back.

15/08/2026: I found this restaurant thanks to a Groupon deal, but frankly, even though the waiter seemed nice, there's a lot of room for improvement regarding hygiene. The tables had dirty, wrinkled, or dusty tablecloths. The walls were dirty. They give you the menu, but when you ask for something, it's not there. The restrooms are right next to the kitchen with a filthy door that's hard to close. The dish consisted of four small pieces of meat swimming in sauce. They were very busy ordering takeout, which lengthened the wait for service. I won't be going back. Anyway. Photos attached.

29/07/2026: The food is good and the value for money is very reasonable. Self-service is part of the concept, and the place is known for it. The staff can sometimes seem a little rushed, but they remain friendly and pleasant. A good place to eat simply and at a reasonable price.

28/07/2026: It's a quasi-self-service restaurant. You walk in with your tray, order what you want, and they bring it to your table. Good value. P.S.: Lately, the wait time between ordering and paying and being served has become excessive.

20/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, quality ingredients; don't pay attention to the jealous ones who give it only one star. Good salad and very good homemade tart.

25/10/2026: If you're passing through Barbizon and feeling a bit peckish, or if you simply want to relax in a nice spot with a cocktail, head over to L'Angelo! The staff is welcoming and friendly. Okay, they sometimes mix up orders a little, but they're so kind that it's easy to forgive them! The food is excellent: the pizzas are superb, the pasta too, the cocktails are great, and the hot chocolate is pretty good. The atmosphere is friendly, family-oriented, sometimes even festive, and you simply feel right at home. We've been there several times and we'll definitely be back. A great place in Barbizon to eat, have a drink, and enjoy a pleasant time!

19/10/2026: My favorite Italian restaurant in Barbizon has a great outdoor terrace for summer, delicious pizzas, and an exceptional tiramisu. 😜

13/10/2025: The worst Moroccan food I've ever tasted. Totally disappointed! The tagines were so bland, no flavor, I felt like I was having broth with chicken cooked in hot water. In short, I will never order there again, I just spent €40 and ended up throwing everything away.

15/05/2026: This doesn't even deserve one star because the reservation was confirmed but the restaurant is permanently closed.

13/04/2026: Terrible experience. There were six of us, five of whom were queuing to order our sandwiches. A friend of ours wasn't feeling well, so he brought his own lunch since he couldn't eat sandwiches. We grabbed a table, our friend took out his box, and an anonymous customer who wanted to play the advocate for lost causes started cursing our friend, saying you don't go to a public place to eat a packed lunch. Let me start by saying that if we'd all brought our own sandwiches, I would have been completely okay with that. But there were six of us, five of whom were ordering and spending about €20 each; and you don't accept that one of us couldn't eat? If it had been a child sitting with his family and eating his own food, would you have kicked them out anyway? Because of the poor, rude snoop, who also insulted us for where we were from, the owner came over to tell our friend to leave. Then two of us stopped ordering; the other three had already ordered, but we took our sandwiches with us. You've lost money, you've lost people who came there to eat and drink, you've lost the chance to prove yourself a decent person. In short, the prices are high, the sandwiches are pretty lousy in terms of quality compared to the price, and their kindness is on a par with a dog biting your testicles. As far as I'm concerned, you can go bankrupt.

10/04/2026: Lunch was undersized portions for €50, 3 burnt snacks, okay. I ordered a snack I'd forgotten about and they told me they don't accept credit cards for orders under €10. Pathetic.

15/06/2026: I go there very often, whether it's for a matcha, a ube latte, or a takeaway meal, and I'm never disappointed! Everything is always delicious, the ingredients are high quality, and the drinks are really well prepared. It's become one of my favorite places. Plus, the service is excellent, always welcoming and quick. I highly recommend it!
