18/06/2026: This was our first time at this restaurant. We had a reservation, but there was a long wait and, above all, a very poor welcome from the owner, who seemed overwhelmed and not at all friendly. The meal was very poor considering the bill. I definitely do not recommend it.

16/06/2026: We stopped by chance on our way further down south from St-Malo. Oh my goodness… what a treat! Incredible location, service and the food was absolutely delicious. Truly French traditional Bretton, the Choucroute de la mer was unmissable.

25/05/2026: A peaceful atmosphere at the end of this spring afternoon. What better way to escape the hustle and bustle of the coast! The owner and his team are fantastic! The pizzas are excellent; I love the thin, crispy crust. Fresh ingredients. Everyone's requests were respected. A lovely table with friends, local beer, and local soda. We lost a pair of shorts, but we had a great evening!! 🤣🤣 Thanks, Philippe, see you soon!! 😘

09/05/2026: A takeaway pizza restaurant with a few tables for enjoying an aperitif while waiting for your pizza. The pizzas are excellent, made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is located in the center of Ascain, near the market hall, which makes it a pleasant place to stop at the end of the day, especially after climbing La Rhune (up and down). Thank you, don't change a thing!

30/07/2026: When you choose a Japanese restaurant, it's usually to eat fish, but here the dominant dish is avocado. The tuna is as thin as a cigarette paper, and selling avocado at the price of tuna or salmon is outrageous.

20/07/2026: The service was disastrous. Either you take the phone and put the customer on hold, or you hang up and deal with them. She finally decided to do both, so naturally she asked me to repeat my order three times… I wasn't planning on having lunch here because a year ago the same nonchalant waitress burned the pizza I ordered. Unfortunately, they offered me a second chance, and I decided to give it another go. The result: an entire afternoon spent in the bathroom, and excruciating abdominal pain. Then I remembered all those damn flies landing on the pastries… I think we should call Philippe; it would be a great first episode for a bakery nightmare.

18/07/2026: Excellent homemade Liège coffee. The furniture is a bit dated, but the welcome and service are pleasant and impeccable.

01/06/2026: I ordered two pizzas, one with fresh salad. They put plastic on top, and when I got home the salad was hot and full of water!! It looked like spinach!! I had to throw the pizza away.

13/07/2026: Back from the bullfighting event in Bellegarde, €5 for a tray of rotten fries, watery sauce, and fries that were frozen but not actually frozen. The freezer had both lights flashing red. A waitress said there was a wait while she was eating the fries before serving customers. Unfortunately, the bullfighting event ended after a serious accident. I hope he's okay, but the organizers suggested going to the Café des Fleurs, but the bar was closed when I left. My advice: don't go to the Café des Fleurs. Good evening everyone.

25/05/2026: We came because our usual kebab shop was closed. The meat was lamb, not specified, the white sauce was spicy, the durum was more of a wrap and it was watery.
