28/06/2026: The hotelier was very friendly, but the service was far too slow. This is somewhat understandable, as he was alone at the bar, taking orders, cooking, and serving.

13/06/2026: Uber Eats order: buy one galette, get one free. It's more like buy one salad, get one free, there's hardly any meat in the galettes. Plus, there's no way to choose the sauces, so I ordered mayonnaise. The guy put it in coffee cups with aluminum foil and a rubber band to hold it all together. And on top of that, it was really, really bad. Disgusting. Last time for me. Avoid at all costs.

22/02/2026: New atmosphere, and that's a good thing! The bar is clean, the service is super friendly, the new bartender knows his stuff and offers different cocktails, the music is great...it's really pleasant, you can feel the difference as soon as you walk in. It's good for the neighborhood 🙏!

01/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant inside the Cité de Carcassonne. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. The authentic cassoulet was rich, hearty, and delicious, and the bone marrow was excellent too. Dancing and music starts at 10 pm. Highly recommended!

13/02/2026: Great place, the name has changed, it's now called MUNCH LAB. Worth checking out. The bar is fantastic with a great selection of beers 🍻. The food is good value for money.

04/07/2026: My boyfriend and I have been to this café several times before. While passing by, we asked if we could use their restroom, and the manager agreed on the condition that we buy something. So, we ordered the cheapest coffee (€2.10) because we felt a bit pressured. I'm sorry, but in hindsight, I don't think that's right. It's literally a basic need, and I understand paying if the hygiene is impeccable, but that's not the case here, and it's very difficult to access. It's a shame; it won't make us want to come back.

01/07/2026: hot chocolate and fruity muffin, 8.10€: little bit expensive, especially when the hot chocolate wasn't anything special. The muffin was perfect, fluffy and moist. Place is small and if there's line, you don't fit inside to look their selection. Ofter wise cute place with two floors full of seats.

03/06/2026: Stayed for two nights whilst motorhome was being repaired in a local garage. The proprietress was very kind and understanding of our situation and went out of her way to help us with accommodation until our van was repaired. Hotel is ideally situated right in the centre of the village and is charming and traditionally French. I would thoroughly recommend a stay when visiting this lovely town.

22/05/2026: During a cycling trip, our group of 15 spent the night at the hotel and had breakfast the next morning before setting off again. We were delighted with the warm welcome from the owner, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very generous. I will definitely return for a few days sometime before next autumn.

10/07/2026: My sweetheart and I have been here several times to enjoy their delicious mochi ice cream, and we're absolutely hooked! They're without a doubt the best mochi ice cream we've ever had. We also ordered some other dishes, and they were all fantastic. The saleswoman always greeted us with a smile. She's very friendly, professional, and offers great advice, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. We've had a wonderful time on every visit, and we definitely plan to come back to stock up on mochi ice cream while also trying out the rest of their products. We highly recommend this shop!

08/04/2026: The place doesn't look like much, but the welcome was warm. We only tried the "Le Checa" bread and found it excellent. Taste, baking, texture, and shelf life: everything was perfect.

01/12/2025: My favorite little restaurant in the old port area. The Camembert crisp is absolutely delicious, and the chicken à la Normande is one of my favorite dishes. The restaurant is pleasant and the food is always good. I highly recommend it.

30/11/2025: If you're used to cooking, don't go to this restaurant. We didn't enjoy the dishes at all, especially the sea bass and scallops. As for the wine by the glass, you don't see the bottle because it's not served in front of you. The tarte Tatin dessert was okay. I wanted to try it despite the rather negative reviews.
