26/08/2026: A dreamy restaurant for lunch in Beaujolais! From the moment you step inside, you feel transported to another era. The restaurant is filled with beautiful details: massive marble tables framed in wood, seemingly as old as the restaurant itself, glass ceiling decorations, and numerous antique decorative pieces. Nothing feels contrived; rather, the impression is that a unique atmosphere has been preserved here for decades. The restaurant also remains true to its culinary roots. It serves classic French cuisine with a Burgundian touch: Oeufs en Meurette, Coq au Vin, Poulet à la Crème, and other traditional dishes, all prepared with great flavor. Moreover, these classics can be enjoyed at fair prices, considering the effort involved. The service is absolutely professional, the kind you would expect only from top-tier Michelin-starred restaurants. At the same time, the service exudes a relaxed and warm atmosphere that perfectly suits a classic little country inn like this one. The cuisine remains true to its roots. Here, one feels transported back to a beautiful old time and can immerse oneself in French village life for an hour or two.

14/08/2026: Excellent cuisine, simple yet showcasing quality ingredients. Perfectly cooked. I highly recommend it! And the service was efficient and friendly. A second visit confirmed our first impression. Good ingredients. Perfect poached eggs in red wine sauce. Everything we tasted was delicious. Finally, we returned a third time to try other dishes and explore the dessert menu. We were still charmed by the food. The best lemon tart I've ever had. A special mention also goes to the front-of-house staff, who were very professional and pleasant. When we return to the area, we will definitely be back at Le Coq!

A very warm welcome. Excellent breakfast overlooking the lovely garden. Very convenient parking. Excellent gourmet meal, a feast for the taste buds.

31/05/2026: Hello to all the restaurant staff! Sorry for the late post. Time and age... 🤣 What can I say about this new experience at La Fermette? Nothing to report! Everything is in place for a great time. We were familiar with the father's cooking, and now, the discovery is a delicate one, a gentle change of style so as not to unsettle his customers. I advise you all to skip one mediocre restaurant and book a table for lunch or dinner; the difference is in the lighting. Best of luck to the young chef, may he introduce us to flavors from here and elsewhere. A wonderful new generation! Thank you to the parents for this beautiful place and their food. 27/05/2026: The hotel is very well located with parking and charging stations. The welcome was excellent. It's quiet and has been recently renovated. Everything is clean and nicely decorated. There's a heated pool and a superb breakfast. Don't hesitate to book, but remember to make a reservation.

Impeccable service. A little noisy, but it must be said that the restaurant was full. A good place to recommend.

When I asked them if it was a whole duck breast for €31, they assured me it was, probably a duckling… Here's the photo when the plate was served… It was indeed half a duck breast… every four plates, you win a duck breast… You can tell these southern French shopkeepers are so clever…

The dishes were refined, full of flavor and originality: a true delight. Special mention goes to the risotto, which is without a doubt the best I've ever tasted. 01/09/2026: A farm inn practically on my doorstep, and I didn't even know about it! But it's definitely worth the trip: a beautiful setting, quality products, and above all, a really friendly team and owner. If you haven't heard of it, you really don't need to go far to find a farm inn with excellent, homemade food. I highly recommend it. You definitely won't be disappointed.

14/07/2026: A truly memorable experience in Curtil-Vergy. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The dishes were remarkably refined, especially the delicate combination of asparagus with capers and bacon bits. We also enjoyed a selection of magnificent wines, ranging from 2010 to 2023. A must-visit for lovers of fine food and quality ingredients. I will definitely be back.
