03/06/2026: I received a very warm welcome as a Martinican, which is quite rare. The staff is very kind, smiling, and pleasant. The meal is high quality and homemade; it's excellent. I ate very well and I will definitely come back. The setting is truly lovely. Thank you for everything. Signature: Clementine crème brûlée.

16/03/2026: Thank you for the warm welcome last Saturday! We were a table of eight, and everything was impeccable: the service, the food, and the overall atmosphere. We ate very well; they try their best to make homemade food, the ingredients are local, and you can tell they do things right. The Swiss fondue was one of the best I've had in a very long time. For those who are truly dedicated, you can ask for the religieuse pastry at the end 😉 The breaded escalope also looked very good. The desserts are generous and delicious! We were offered génépi liqueur, and I must mention that! See you soon.

27/05/2026: You might ask, "Why would I dine at a Japanese restaurant when visiting Vernon?" In our case, we enjoy French food, but need a break now and then. We discovered Fujiyama while exploring Vernon, before our visit to nearby Giverny. We were more than pleasantly surprised. The sushi, sashimi and rolls offered in their "Love Boat" offering for two was fresh, fabulous and extremely reasonable by US standards. We even got a bottle of decent French white wine for 15 Euros.The other options on the menu looked awesome, too. Be aware that this is not a fancy place by any means. There is comfortable seating and the service was fine. However, the vast majority of their business is take-out, with a steady stream of locals, who seem to know a great deal when they see one.

11/05/2026: I had absolutely no knowledge of Ethiopian cuisine, and what a discovery! The welcome was fantastic, and the explanations of the dishes were excellent. The atmosphere was great, as were the background music.
