31/07/2026: I stopped in Martigne and decided to eat here for the second time this year, while traveling between Italy and Spain. It's a restaurant in a unique location overlooking the canal, with a view of the sunset. It has outdoor seating, and it's very pleasant to eat there, and the food is excellent. The service is also excellent. The husband and wife team—she takes care of the service and he takes care of the kitchen—really enjoyed it. I've been back, and I wasn't wrong.

04/07/2026: The worst tarte flambée of my life… you really need to know how to use salt. My dining companions felt the same way. The salads were ridiculous… a 1 hour and 5 minute wait before being served… they forgot our drinks despite several reminders. Desserts were displayed in the dining room in over 35-degree heat… it didn't make you want to touch them… and to top it all off, they complained because we asked to split the bill… Avoid this place; Alsace deserves a much better reputation.

12/07/2026: Excellent experience at this restaurant located in the center of Ugine. The price was more than reasonable for the set lunch menu, the view from the terrace is magnificent, and we ate very well. Thank you and see you soon! 😁

28/06/2026: Motorcycle stop 🏍️ Beautiful setting in a lovely outdoor garden, the dish was very well presented and tasty, the staff were friendly, smiling and provided excellent explanations, the price was quite reasonable for the setting, the food and the service, I recommend it 👍

19/09/2026: Brasserie Le D'Artagnan always offers a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. The service is efficient and cheerful, making for a very pleasant experience. As for the food, the portions are generous, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with excellent value for money. Whether for a quick lunch or a relaxing moment in the square, it's a reliable place that I highly recommend!

01/07/2026: €20 for lunch in a small village in the Gers. Very average. Very noisy. Lots of heavy goods vehicles drive past the bar/restaurant's terrace.

24/06/2026: The hotel is well-located and pleasant. The rooms are air-conditioned and the restaurant is decent, with a calm atmosphere. Be aware of the parking: there are few spaces, they cannot be reserved, and the access is very narrow with a steep incline. It's best to be a confident driver.

05/08/2026: It's disgusting! The burgers are the size of a penny, and there are only two fries fighting each other. It's disgusting! We waited over an hour to be served.

21/05/2026: I booked a set menu for an overnight stay. I sat down at 7 pm. I left the table at 11 pm; they had completely forgotten my starter and dessert. The food itself was good, but the apologies were weak. I found the service very disappointing.

07/05/2026: Here are a few definitions that some staff members clearly need to review at the start of the day: "Respect: a feeling that leads one to show consideration for someone because of the value one recognizes in them." "Professionalism: the professional nature of an activity." "Courtesy: refined politeness." Unfortunately, none of these concepts seemed to be present during our visit. The attitude of some employees was particularly inappropriate, with an unpleasant tone and completely unsuitable behavior towards customers. I very rarely leave negative reviews, let alone one-star reviews, but this experience was truly shameful. A minimum of respect and courtesy should be the foundation of any establishment open to the public. It is unacceptable to treat customers this way.

30/09/2026: So, let's just say it was good, but not exceptional. Avoid the chicken yakitori. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

18/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The dishes offered were varied and frankly delicious. The service (provided by a young trainee) was quick and the plates were beautifully presented. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for a wonderful meal that will leave a lasting impression.

04/08/2026: With a little salad? With a dollop of whipped cream? And some cider? Be warned, each salad leaf will cost you an extra 2 euros! The tattooed guy with blue eyes is putting a bit—too much—pressure on you to choose quickly! The waitress is much calmer and more attentive to the customer, thank you to her. The food is very good, although I'm still looking for the port in the port fondue. The setting is great, and if you want to eat on the terrace, you should possibly book the day before.

13/06/2026: Back in Châteaubriant, we ate at Royal Kebab. It was already a pleasure to see a childhood friend who runs the restaurant with his family, but in addition to enjoying a very good meal—and I'm not just saying that to flatter him—it didn't spoil the experience at all. Thank you.

14/10/2026: The daily specials were already sold out by 12:20! We had to order from the regular menu… And then there was the surprise dessert: without even asking, they brought us a tray displaying a selection of the remaining desserts. Some were even missing after we'd already ordered! In the end, it was disappointing, especially with one rather disdainful gentleman among the staff…

21/09/2026: What a wonderful discovery in the heart of Thonon! Passing through without a reservation, with our 3-year-old daughter, we received a very warm welcome from all the staff. The service was perfect: quick, attentive, and with excellent communication and customer care. A special thank you to our fantastic waiter who had a great sense of humor and brightened our meal. And what can we say about the food...delicious and excellent value for money. We will gladly return!
