02/06/2026: I ate there tonight with my girlfriend and I have to admit I was quite disappointed. The welcome wasn't particularly warm and the wait was very long before we were served. As for the food, that's where the disappointment really hit. I ordered a rump steak: the meat was good quality, but the portion was really tiny for the price. The side dishes were also quite limited, with few potatoes and rather bland green beans. My girlfriend had a croque-madame which turned out to be quite dry and tasteless. It's a shame, because it was our first visit and we wanted to experience the restaurant properly. Unfortunately, this experience doesn't exactly make us want to come back.

31/01/2026: Very good meal, sauerkraut with seafood, the meat, steak was excellent, the service and welcome were great, we had a good time, the chef came to talk in the dining room, we were the last ones.

03/05/2026: No stir-fried dishes!! No stir-fried dishes!! No stir-fried dishes!! This restaurant has completely changed its menu. They only offer Pho (Vietnamese rice noodles). All stir-fried dishes have been cancelled. Please be aware and don't go there empty-handed.

31/07/2026: One of the McDonald's restaurants with the best view in the area. There's plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy it. I found the staff friendly and welcoming. And it was very clean.

06/08/2026: The waiter was not at all welcoming and inattentive throughout the entire service. When he came to bring us our drinks, he asked us what we had ordered, which gave the impression of disorganization and a lack of attention to customers.

22/03/2026: Best pizza for miles around! In all of Chalon, I'll only go there. Pleasant, helpful, welcoming. They make everything, not just pizza. I highly recommend them, and they're open until 2 am 😊

18/06/2026: We went for a stroll in Grignan, and it was impossible not to stop at Le Bouboir. We had a wonderful time and indulged, especially me. I had half an apricot tarte tatin with a scoop of ice cream, and I had a chocolate fondant with a scoop of ice cream and two delicious coffees. It was a real treat! I couldn't resist having another fondant with an iced coffee. After your visit to the castle, stop by Le Bouboir; you won't regret it. You'll be served by two charming and smiling ladies, Chantal and Philippe.

27/05/2026: The service quality is very poor, breakfast is almost non-existent and terrible. The rooms are uncomfortable, there is no mini-bar. I do not recommend it.

13/04/2026: This was an overnight stop on the way to Germany. The hotel needs a bit of a refresh, but that said, it’s clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, well equipped and are quiet. Parking is free and on-site.

11/07/2026: During our weekend in Deauville, we got some takeaway pizzas. There was very little wait, the price was reasonable, and the staff were quite friendly… but the pizzas were really bad! They had no flavor, were incredibly bland, and you could tell the ingredients weren't top quality… but the dough really needs a complete overhaul of the recipe… we unfortunately won't be going back!

04/07/2026: The pizzas are expensive and the quality is lacking. They're tasteless. The pizza dough seems mass-produced!

21/05/2026: Not at all a restaurant for children, contrary to the name... pizzas with poor value for money. Dirty.

14/04/2026: Honestly, a fantastic find! La Maison de Doudou offers truly excellent pizzas, with a wonderfully light crust and quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. The service is quick and the staff is very friendly; you feel right at home. Special mention for the perfect cooking and generous portions. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back! 🍕
