06/06/2026: I come to this restaurant a few times because the food is good. The pizzas are quite large, but the portions for some other dishes are ridiculously small, especially considering the price, which can exceed that of the pizzas. It's also absurd to be seated at a table for two when you're a group of three, all to maximize the number of people they can accommodate. Especially since groups of three arriving later end up at tables for four. Aside from these shortcomings, the food is delicious, but the price is quite high.

06/06/2026: As a regular customer and a local resident, I previously had a rather positive impression of this establishment. Unfortunately, my last two visits were a true demonstration of everything to avoid in the restaurant industry. The service was particularly cold, with no smiles, several mistakes on the order, and above all, a complete lack of willingness to find any solution when problems were pointed out. You feel more like you're bothering them than being a customer. As for the menu, the Italian identity that was once part of its charm now seems more like a memory than a reality. Perhaps the most surprising thing is this ability to combine a lack of consideration, a decline in quality, and a mediocre customer experience, while then wondering about the decrease in patronage. Rest assured: customers aren't spending less. They're simply still looking for what they've always wanted: a pleasant welcome, a minimum of professionalism, and quality consistent with the prices charged. A disappointing experience that mainly makes you want to spend your money elsewhere.

27/08/2026: It's great to only order what you want. Fresh, prepared to order. The staff is truly lovely. However, they should consider a heating solution for the winter. It's not pleasant to keep your down jacket on at the table.

07/10/2026: The pho was good and the service was quick. However, I got a low rating for hygiene because I ran into the cook in the restroom. I was washing my hands, and the guy was about to leave without washing them because I was already there, rather than wait. I grabbed him immediately and said, "No, you have to wash your hands, especially since you're wearing a chef's hat!" I told the owner, who said he wasn't there to check, and I said I thought the prefect wouldn't like that. I saw the owner remind the cook. I think a mistake is possible, but I don't know, I don't trust them; that's just my first impression. It's a shame because I really needed a restaurant near the train station after my travels, but oh well, I don't think I'll be back. It scared me. I hesitated to leave a comment, but after searching on Google I found that restaurants have already closed for hygiene reasons in 2023, so I'm commenting anyway. I hate doing this, but this is just too much for me.

11/10/2026: Visited Le Matisse during our stay at Le Touquet as part of a celebration for my Mum’s 70th birthday. The restaurant is clean and welcoming with beautiful decor, the service was personable - warm and friendly - and the food was absolutely delicious! They even played “Happy Birthday” and surprised us with candles on our desserts! The food was so good we will be returning again before our visit is finished!

11/04/2026: The service was a disaster. The tables weren't cleared, so we had to drink from the empty glasses of previous customers. The waitress was unpleasant; a smile would have ripped off her face.

28/03/2026: Super welcoming team, fast service, very good food. The waiter on the terrace the evening of the rugby match was great.

18/09/2026: Great, the staff are friendly. The pastries are excellent. Don't hesitate.

22/08/2026: I was pleasantly surprised to be served by a welcoming and smiling young man. He offered us an unbeatable breakfast deal: coffee and a warm, delicious chocolate croissant. A pure moment of pleasure when you want to enjoy your break in peace.

13/09/2026: Never had any problems at Chou 'Heim, I've been going to this restaurant for 10 years. But yesterday, September 12th, I think there were some issues between the understaffed team and the kitchen. Long waits, and the food wasn't as good as usual. That won't stop me from coming back, though; sometimes it happens!

30/09/2026: Excellent service, I recommend it!

28/09/2026: There were two customers in the restaurant, but they still managed to get my order wrong. Instead of the Ultra Box Tower Cheese and Bacon, I ended up with a different burger that I didn't like, and then cold, dry fries, two measly tenders, and cheese chips with no cheese inside. In short, I'm still hungry, and I'll never give KFC another cent.

20/09/2026: Beware when ordering takeout. The third time they've forgotten to include an item, and when you return, the manager will hide in the back of the kitchen. Not even an apology from the person who prepared the order. So, the return trip costs me more than the item itself, and you get home to a cold, impersonal delivery. No service whatsoever.

16/09/2026: In this McDonald's, you have to drink your coffee black; you can't order extra milk. "Never," says the manager. "That's the rule!" If you ask for it, he says you're being dishonest! CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY???

09/03/2026: Excellent service. Professional staff. The only downside is the rather difficult and often far-flung parking, which is otherwise paid.

10/12/2025: The owner is an incredible and generous man. I chatted with him while waiting for my order, and all I want to do is go back. I highly recommend it if you like a warm welcome and good pizza.

18/05/2026: Excellent value for money. The meal was superb from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. We highly recommend it.

17/05/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent value for money. The room was functional and clean. On-site parking. The breakfast was very varied, with high-quality products. We will definitely return if we are ever in Luxeuil-les-Bains.
