26/09/2026: We went for a weekend in Burgundy and stopped for lunch at the Auberge du Prieuré. A very pleasant place. We were facing a very well-maintained and popular Romanesque church. The place is almost idyllic. With traditional cuisine, We are in the heart of the Brionnais Charolais region, where we can enjoy Burgundian products such as prime beef, ribeye steak, snails, and frog legs (by reservation). The desserts are as colorful as they are exquisite! The innkeepers are welcoming and kind! They took the time to share their knowledge of the region with us. Paradise on earth! Thank you for this wonderful experience.

30/08/2026: During our anniversary weekend in Anzy-le-Duc, we thoroughly enjoyed the inn. The welcome was very warm and the food excellent, especially the cooked ham. Thank you.

05/09/2026: I'm a very good customer who comes often, and for once I ordered through Uber Eats, the difference is noticeable. I ordered goat cheese on two pizzas, and when they arrived, I realized there was no goat cheese or hot sauce! Thanks a lot, what a terrible service!

20/08/2026: Very welcoming, but that's where I'll stop. Passing through Mâcon, we ate at this small, run-of-the-mill restaurant. The result? A nasty case of food poisoning. A horrible night, with nausea and stomach pains. A 400-kilometer car journey, doubled over in pain. And 24 hours later, head down the toilet trying to relieve the effects of that not-so-fresh Pad Thai. Avoid at all costs.

26/07/2026: We found ourselves in a simple, unpretentious restaurant. The food was excellent. The owner's kindness is his defining characteristic. The atmosphere was rather subdued, as I imagine the place only really comes alive at lunchtime, which was just fine; eating in a noisy environment isn't my cup of tea. We'll be regulars.

08/08/2026: Terrible service. I placed an order on Uber Eats and it took them 2 hours to deliver, and when you call them they claim the driver is on his way and the order will be delivered in 20 minutes.

26/09/2026: Hello, I came to the drive-thru today, September 26th, around 9 PM. At the ordering kiosk, I once again encountered the blonde woman with the tattoo on her arm. She was incredibly unpleasant, very haughty, and impatient to finish her conversation, repeatedly saying "yeah, what's next?" every time I mentioned a menu item or anything else. I know we're at McDonald's, but there should be a minimum level of courtesy, and with this woman, it happens again and again. She's unpleasant and clearly doesn't know the meaning of a smile or politeness. If you don't like what you do or your job, please change positions for the sake of all your customers, because this is truly shameful.

14/09/2026: One star because I have to, but it deserves zero, it's a piece of crap.

10/10/2026: A very bad experience. The bar charges an extra fee for card payments under €10, without this information being clearly displayed beforehand. You only discover these charges at the time of payment, which is unacceptable. As a reminder, in France, businesses are not allowed to charge extra fees based on the payment method used. A minimum card payment is one thing, but charging an additional fee is quite another. A real lack of transparency and respect for customers. I do not recommend it.

05/10/2026: Disappointing bistro, perhaps we caught the cook on a bad day… The dishes were really not successful: the ingredients were of poor quality and badly cooked.

22/07/2026: The worst hotel of my entire trip through France, and I stayed in far cheaper places that were better. From the front, the hotel looks fairly modern at first, but you quickly notice how neglected it is. Flower planters were left standing across the sidewalk, apparently pushed there by a car, and nobody seemed to feel responsible for putting them back. The rear part of the building, only visible at second glance, is visibly run-down. The rooms have the charm of something between a hospital room and a budget hotel. In my room, the curtains had been torn down. There was no coffee machine or kettle, no bottle of water, and no minibar. The bathroom didn't even have a tooth glass or cup. The room wasn't clean either; there were crumbs under the bathroom sink. Particularly annoying: the key card had to be re-magnetized at reception before EVERY single entry to the room. For this price and category, clearly not acceptable. Not recommended.

13/05/2026: Excessive price considering the advertised standard and the reality. Monday evening: only one chicken dish available. No prawns, scallops, or filet mignon due to staff shortages, and I wasn't notified or compensated for the inconvenience.

12/09/2026: A simple place at first glance, but magical. Delicious food, welcoming and friendly service, young but very professional and kind staff. I highly recommend this place. If I return to Provence, I know where to eat.

10/09/2026: Very disappointed. A €24 menu that seemed very reasonable turned out to be a tiny bavette steak that was also overcooked (rare as requested), and a rum baba with two measly pieces lost in vanilla ice cream. Not to mention the wait... We didn't want to make a scene, we come to the area often, but we won't be returning to this restaurant. Oh well.

09/05/2026: We come here every year for the good food and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, there must be a problem… the quality of the food has declined significantly (the desserts used to be fabulous, and now the tarte tatin was barely edible). As for the service, there was a scantily clad young woman with a completely inappropriate attitude. Good luck.

30/09/2026: A perfect stop on the road to your holiday destination! This motorway service area is a very pleasant surprise. The facilities are impeccably clean, from the restrooms to the food service areas. There's a wide selection of fresh produce, enough to eat properly without resorting to pre-packaged sandwiches. Special mention goes to the outdoor areas: shaded, very well maintained, and equipped with numerous picnic tables. It's the ideal place to stretch your legs, let the children play safely, and recharge your batteries (literally and figuratively, with many fast-charging stations available). A smooth, pleasant, and relaxing stop that transforms the obligatory break into a real moment of relaxation. I highly recommend it!

04/10/2026: I ordered a small drink, had to wait 20 minutes, and ended up leaving without it. It was October 4th at 5:30 PM, there were no other customers, only two of us, and after 20 minutes, my drink still hadn't arrived.

03/10/2026: Arrived at 10:26 PM (4 minutes before closing) Very short wait, and despite my late arrival, they even offered me two ice creams for the wait! Excellent service and very friendly staff!
