24/07/2026: Hello, I placed my order around 12:20 AM this Thursday, July 23rd. I know it's closing time, but I'd rather be told that the product is out of stock than be served an order with more than half of it poorly prepared and recipes not followed, especially considering the current prices. A harissa wrap with just chicken and sauce, a cheeseburger without onions or pickles, and to top it all off, only half a slice of cheddar cheese, not to mention the steaks which were way overcooked, lukewarm, and dry… A serious lack of professionalism and respect on the part of your employees. Sincerely.

28/04/2026: It has to be said that this picturesque place, Vézelay, is a bit run-down. The state of the streets isn't great! Many of the houses and shops are unoccupied and in a state of disrepair! You can tell you're in the last century, the era of Vidocq or stagecoaches! I visited this little town during a trip to Auxerre, so I stopped in Vézelay, which had been a long-held plan. The basilica was under renovation at the time! I didn't visit the inn, so I can't comment on that.

20/04/2026: I didn't use the hotel's services, just the restaurant. I enjoyed the food (including the vegetarian options), however, two shortcomings in the service at our table concerned me. The staff remained courteous and apologized, but offered no compensation.

16/07/2026: Two Cokes and a strawberry tart for 29 euros, that might be okay, but when you cut into the tart and realize it's only filled with whipped cream, you guys have lost your way in pastry making. You need to go back to the basics, like a chiboust or a diplomat cream. Too much business kills business. It was good, but 23 euros for a tart is a real kick in the teeth.

12/06/2026: I often get sandwiches from you; the bagnats are very good, but I always forget to ask for a napkin. To be fair, I think you should include one by default with every sandwich you sell, like pretty much everywhere else. Thank you, and see you soon!

24/03/2026: Lunch at the foot of the slopes, in the sunshine, with very friendly staff and delicious food! I highly recommend this place.

03/03/2026: A Sunday out with the family. No ice in our drinks despite our requests, the €18 hamburger wasn't cooked properly and was raw, so it was completely cold. Considering the night I spent there, I'm not sure the meat was very good. Long wait. No smiles or friendliness from the waiters. The Caesar salad was bland and empty.

11/07/2026: Delicious crepes, and very friendly host! Would recommend.

16/05/2026: The welcome was extremely cold. The Norwegian crepe was full of Emmental cheese and had no smoked salmon (for someone with a cheese allergy)! Not a word of apology, nor any offer to replace the crepe. We now understand why there were so many seats left in the restaurant. We won't be going back. Avoid this place.

15/06/2026: This restaurant was awful! We waited an hour and fifteen minutes only to be served tasteless food; we had no idea what we were eating. The owner was drunk and staggering between the tables. Honestly, it was a disgrace! My best wishes to the servers who were on the front lines and who were genuinely sorry.

14/06/2026: As fans of Indian cuisine, this is the worst restaurant we've ever eaten at. Furthermore, the atmosphere was dreadful, with the owner completely drunk. Thank you to the waiters for their kindness.

30/05/2026: Hello, My friends and I regularly order pizzas and have always been satisfied. However, last night, my son found a cooked cockroach in his pizza 🤢! We are posting this review to warn the owner of Pizz'América to be more vigilant so that such a hygiene problem does not happen again in the future.

22/06/2026: They refused to serve us a glass of water, claiming they didn't have time, but they were happy to serve us a paid drink. Shameful.

29/07/2026: The tartare was very well prepared. As for the rest of the menu…overrated. Professional service and a very nice terrace. I tried it based on social media recommendations…I expected better.

28/07/2026: Was here for dinner with my family. Expected quite s lot of the place but the food was nowhere near are expectations and didn’t match the price point at all. The waiter was rather rude and too busy with other things it seemed. Around the main course we overheard a father asking to borrow the toilet for his 3-4 year old son who seemed to need a toilet rather bad. The answer was no which for us was the tipping point. Can’t recommend this place and suggest you find something better and a better price and most likely much better service.

21/07/2026: Excellent value for money, set menu at 19 euros with 1/4 bottle of wine included.

16/07/2026: We waited 20 minutes for a server who was supposed to bring us the menu. We're still waiting.

15/07/2026: The waiter was about as welcoming as a prison door, and the coffee was awful—just bitter water. Really not good; only the location saved it.

05/06/2026: I loved spending time in this kebab shop with the smell of slightly moldy fries 😋 The owner was really nice 😁 (even if he spent more time on breaks than working) I thought I saw a rat wander into the kitchen at one point 🧐 (no, I'm kidding, it was a coypu) 🤣 The chef's sauce is delicious with the mushrooms and mold 🤩
