14/07/2026: Average experience, which is a shame because the staff and manager were friendly, there was too much oil and chili pepper, and hygiene left much to be desired. A pity, but otherwise a pleasant experience!

The food wasn't very well prepared, the dishes were sloppy, like the Kemia, everything was very oily…the red mullet was firm because it had come straight from the freezer, the egg brioche was okay. What a shame, a bad experience. The service was friendly and the staff pleasant.

28/06/2026: Very expensive restaurant for mediocre food. Grilled prawns cost 33 euros for 4 prawns on a plate with a few slices of courgette and aubergine, all swimming in oil.

07/06/2026: I received a terrible welcome today. I arrived at 2:40 PM for a drink. I went in and asked the waitress if we could have a seat. She said yes, she'd come and take my order. Then I heard a voice from another room, which I never saw (facing the customer is difficult), speaking very loudly, saying no, no, no, we're not taking anyone. The restaurant closes at 3:30 PM. It took 50 minutes for a drink; we would have left well before closing time. Frankly, the welcome was extremely unpleasant. What would be helpful, madam, for next time is to introduce yourself and have the decency to come and speak to the customer.

20/07/2026: We made a quick visit to this restaurant yesterday and ordered two pizzas and mussels and fries. The pizza was dry, tasteless, and very sparsely topped. As for the service, I won't even mention it. The waitress was aggressive and completely unprofessional, practically throwing the plates on the table and not knowing a word of politeness. (Thanks to the previous owner, who was much more customer-oriented.)

09/07/2026: We booked the day before for 5 people, and when we arrived, we were turned away by the waitress who hadn't written us down in her book. This was because the other waiter who had spoken to us on the phone—thanks azdil—hadn't informed his colleague and hadn't even noted the reservation himself. Thanks to the waitress who wasn't at all bitter (that's sarcasm; she was awful) and to the other waiter who didn't write down our reservation.

29/05/2026: Very nice house with an excellent and generous breakfast

24/05/2026: Visited the establishment on May 22nd at 5 PM. It wasn't too crowded, the place was perfect, the moment perfect. I had a Liège coffee, a Marco Polo beer, and a freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything was very good. Thank you to Anaïs for her kindness.

02/06/2026: It's past its prime; it's had its day. The quality isn't the same anymore, which is a shame considering its reputation.

28/03/2026: When you walk into a brasserie and a giant screen is showing CNews, not everyone feels welcome. So, personally, I avoid it. A business should remain neutral. I don't recommend it. Especially since the Rue de la Gaité is full of brasseries...
