15/10/2026: I never knew I could be so moved by a series of bites. Kushikatsu Bon has changed my expectations and appreciation for dining. I’ve brought and sent people here for birthdays, celebrations, and first nights in Paris. What finally prompted me to write this review isn’t simply that I’ve eaten here several times, it’s that every person who works here makes you feel special and truly welcome. Kushikatsu has its roots in the street food of Osaka, but here its preparation and service become something extraordinarily elegant. Each bite arrives at a deliberate pace, with every flavor and detail considered. Watching the chef from behind the beautiful wooden counter feels like witnessing a meticulously rehearsed dance. There is something almost spiritual about his care, concentration, and genuine grin, a sense of someone doing exactly what they were meant to do. That same care extends throughout the team and their impeccable service. You see the hosts enjoying one another’s company, learning from one another, helping each other, and staying attentive to every visitor - they’re a solid team. The food is memorable: comforting and familiar in one moment, surprising in the next. During our visit tonight, they surprised us with grilled mochi, savory with a sweet, syrupy drizzle. One bite brought me back to my dad cooking mochi on New Year’s Day, as he did every year. I hadn’t expected to find that memory at a dinner in Paris. After three months of living here and trying so many restaurants, this remains one of the most extraordinary places I’ve eaten. I’ll keep coming back, I’ll keep bringing people I love, and I’ll keep recommending this place to those open to a Japanese dining experience.

08/10/2026: The staff is incredibly attentive… Kindness and good humor are guaranteed. In addition, the food is breathtaking, especially the Toscana (cream base, mozzarella, mushrooms, truffle sauce) A delight!! I highly recommend discovering this place and meeting these wonderful people.

29/08/2026: We discovered this pizzeria while stopping in this roadside village. The owners are quite friendly. However, we felt a slight disappointment when we declined the aperitif and wine. The problem with a roadside village is that there are passing motorists. This was our case, which meant no alcohol was offered. That being said, I really liked the menu options, which were truly focused on Italy and its quality ingredients. On the other hand, I must admit that we were very disappointed with the pizzas. As lovers of Italian cuisine, having traveled extensively throughout various regions of Italy, we found the thin crust lacked crispness. As for the toppings, my pizza was drowning in an overly thick layer of mozzarella. I could barely taste the tomato sauce. So, kudos for the concept, but the pizzas weren't to our liking.

15/10/2026: A wonderful experience. Our first time at a cabaret, we were worried the show might be a bit "old-fashioned," but there was something for everyone, regardless of age. Each act flowed seamlessly. The costumes were superb; kudos to the dancers and a special mention to the artist for their magnificent work.
