17/06/2026: They sell Moët & Chandon but instead offer cheap wine for €20 at Leclerc and charge €100 a bottle. Shameful, I do not recommend them.

19/02/2026: Our weekly rendezvous! Passing through for a great week of skiing in Les Gets, we were recommended Barby on our very first night… Okay, now we just call it Barby, since we spent the whole week there 😅 Our livers were aching, our right arm was aching from playing darts non-stop, and our left arm from raising so many glasses… In short, everything you could want in a bar: no fuss, a team that recognizes you the moment you walk in, efficient and friendly. Thanks guys, we had a great time! So next year, it's already decided: it'll be Barby… so Les Gets 😉 PS: See you tonight… we're hitting the road again tomorrow. The Burgundians / Côté Rhum.

21/11/2025: The spicy shrimp wasn't even spicy, it was bland. And the worst part is that I had a stomach ache all afternoon. The menus are inexpensive and the service is very friendly, but if it's going to leave me sick, no thanks.

19/07/2026: Good evening, I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We ordered takeout and, before paying, we looked at the menu with the manager. The total was supposed to be around €28. I asked how many stir-fried noodles would be a single serving. I simply wanted to know if the box weighed approximately 200 or 300 grams. The manager asked me if it was for one or two people. I replied, "For one person." She told me there was no problem, she would make it whatever we wanted… 🙄🙄🙄 When we went to collect the order, she served us a box of noodles filled to the brim, without asking if we wanted more. As a result, when it came time to pay, the total jumped to €49. The noodles alone were charged at €11.50, even though we had ordered a single serving. We felt like we were given a larger order without being informed beforehand, which was very disappointing. In addition, we didn't enjoy the quality of the food. We really didn't like the sushi, and the entire meal didn't meet our expectations. I very rarely leave negative reviews, but this time I'm truly disappointed. If we simply hadn't liked the food, it wouldn't be so bad. However, the lack of transparency regarding the price and quantity is, in my opinion, unacceptable. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this restaurant. Best of luck to the lady; it's not easy working in a restaurant alone 😞

14/02/2026: The owner runs it all by herself, okay. She prefers takeout orders to table service, I think for management reasons. We tried the table service, and the food was very good! The atmosphere was nice at first, but then the phone orders started piling up. Just as we were paying, she was more sighing than anything else. I'm giving it 4 stars.

07/07/2026: 8 of us have just eaten here. It was lovely. Buffet but nice and freshly cooked. Lovely desserts too. All of us enjoyed it and would visit again.

12/05/2026: I'm a regular customer at this restaurant, which certainly lends some credibility to my opinion. Closed or open? It's true, you never really know; the rather austere storefront doesn't exactly invite you in. However, the welcome has always been pleasant and friendly. Usually, there's only one person to greet you, take the money, and keep the buffet stocked… not easy, even though I've never seen more than six customers at a time… but the smile is always there. Keeping the buffet stocked… that's where the problem lies. The dishes gradually dwindle and aren't always replenished. Regulars know it's best to help yourself on your first visit 😊, but given the low number of customers, you can understand the benefit of cooking "to order" and avoiding waste. As for the quality: the spring rolls and fritters are good (not homemade). The main courses are of inconsistent quality and sometimes difficult to identify 😁 Pork and chicken, what sauce??? But there are some pleasant surprises to be had, especially with the fish. The desserts are homemade and delicious. In short… decent Asian cuisine in Casteljaloux at a very affordable price is fantastic!

24/12/2025: A neighborhood restaurant in La Courneuve. Friendly staff and decent food. The Christmas meal was pretty good: Rossini, foie gras, and a Yule log.

22/07/2026: It's scary! The cook is on his phone, video is super loud, I wouldn't set foot in there. He doesn't even wash his hands before making his pizzas, plus there's zero hygiene.

05/07/2026: The setting is superb, in the fourth arrondissement of Butte aux Cailles, with incredible silence.

04/07/2026: I came this morning on my way to the market for three pastries, and that will be the last time! One slice of flan was rock hard—it was like a brick—and when I cut it, the cream was all cracked and dry, the edges completely dried out. I don't even want to imagine when the flan was made! The Paris-Brest was completely dry, the choux pastry was hard, and the cream was all compact and tasted moldy. The mille-feuille was a little better than the rest, but the cream strongly resembled the cream used for rum baba (it would be good to mention if you're going to use rum in your cream). We threw everything away. Very, very disappointed. €11.70 down the drain. I didn't go back because it's 20 km from here, so I didn't want to drive 40 km!

14/03/2026: At 6:30 PM, the welcome was quite unpleasant. The "hello" was barely uttered, almost forced. I made my selection calmly, and despite the presence of tongs for serving bread, the vendor took my loaf with his bare hands, which isn't very reassuring from a hygiene standpoint. When it came time to pay, he was watching videos on his phone instead of ringing me up. Frankly, a very disappointing experience. Avoid it.

14/04/2026: Pizza price scam! I bought 5 pizzas and got a free bottle of wine. The prices on the internet and in the leaflet were the same, but when I went to pay, they charged me 86 euros instead of 48.50. Even though their pizza was excellent, I don't recommend it because it's way too expensive and a scam with its misleading prices.

27/05/2026: Friendly service and generous portions at very reasonable prices, but a huge disappointment with the Caesar salad. It contained neither lettuce nor a proper Caesar dressing, just a thick layer of pasta with mayonnaise. This is really not what you expect from a fresh salad in the middle of summer. A shame, because the welcome was pleasant.

18/02/2026: Very good and very affordable. I recommend the chocolate cake. Great for a lunch break.

21/07/2026: This bad review is solely for the food: my apologies, but that steak was just embarrassingly small, and the fries were soggy. Expensive for what it is, though! Really a bit of a tourist trap. Improve the portions and the quality, because the prices are already high enough!
