15/07/2026: Dining at Buddha Beach was a true pleasure. A warm welcome from all the staff, excellent and generous cuisine, a most pleasant sea view, all run by a super friendly owner and a fantastic team, all smiling and with a great sense of humor. Not to mention the very reasonable prices.

12/07/2026: We nicely sit and waiting to order for drinks/coctails, the waitress come rushing and said no drinks service anymore (ı guess time of the day, by the way it was 13:00) while some other people having drinks. I can understand you can say no drink service starting 19:00 or something but it is bizarre at the middle of the day. Such a shame that it is a nice beach front but very bad, unprofessional business.

03/06/2026: We had a reservation for 12:30 PM, having informed them that we would be running a little late and emphasizing that we would be with an elderly person and that it was therefore essential to be seated in the shade. Mission accepted over the phone! Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes late to find that our indoor table had been given away, and that only a table in the sun was available, on the manager's instructions. We had to insist strongly that the awning be lowered. Then, there was a one-hour wait between ordering our food and receiving it. What a shame to have such an experience when you have such a strong reputation as Raugi, and such high-quality products. This isn't the first time I've had this experience; I was refused entry inside in November because I had a small dog, the "manager" claiming that my dog ​​was "disturbing" the peace. Looking at the reviews from the last three years, I see that the same person is unpleasant to everyone, customers and employees alike. The way he speaks to the friendly waitresses who are always rushing around is beyond words. If you don't like your job, it's time to change and make way for someone who knows how to treat customers properly. And when it came time to pay, there was no goodbye, no rudeness from him. Thank you to the waitress for offering me the bottled water. Frustrated by our experience, we didn't order dessert and went across the street, where in five minutes I was restored to hope that kind and polite people still exist. I'll come back for takeout sushi, but I won't eat in anymore, even though it's still excellent. This review clearly targets only one person so the owner knows what's going on in his restaurant while he's away.

16/06/2026: We had tuna steak and squid. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. The service was very friendly.

16/06/2026: The biggest disappointment of any restaurant I've had in Agde. We should have been suspicious when someone accosted us, saying, "There's only good food here" 🤣. A total tourist trap. The tielles (a type of savory pie) were definitely frozen, not homemade or artisanal. In short, mass-produced. The parillada (a seafood platter) had overcooked tuna, rubbery squid, greasy prawns with a rancid taste of oil, and the ratatouille looked like reheated leftovers. The only edible thing on the plate was the sardines, but they weren't the best sardines I've ever had. A huge disappointment :/ The only positive point was the location on the banks of the Hérault River, but there wasn't even background music like some other restaurants have. Avoid at all costs.

16/07/2026: we were 7 having a late dinner our last night in Paris and stopped here. everyone was able to find an item and had a delicious meal from the evening's menu. Wif had a salad that was definitely meal sized, while being an American I had a cheeseburger and frites. very friendly staff

06/08/2026: So, where to begin? 😅 First, we ordered beers. One arrived flat, probably from the end of the keg or the beginning, not a big deal in itself. Except that when we mentioned it to the waitress, she sent the manager over, who did nothing. He told us he'd come back, but he was busy taking orders from the people next to us and completely ignoring us. So my partner went to the bar directly to explain our problem. He encountered a very unpleasant man who was incredibly rude to him, even though all we asked was for them to replace the beers (we'd only taken a sip) or not charge us. After getting a little angry, they finally replaced them, but the man was really very rude to him. As for the meal: nothing to complain about, very good. We ate very well; it was so generous that I only ate half of my plate. This is where things get interesting 😅 I asked to take the rest of my meal home because I still had plenty of smoked ham and potatoes left, enough for a second helping. The waitress told me she couldn't do it, no problem, she was going to bring me a container. Meanwhile, her colleague came to take my plate, and I told him I wanted to take what was on it. He assured me there was no problem. Except that 5 minutes later, he came back to me and said the dishwasher had thrown away the rest of my plate. Again, nothing serious, but for a €20 meal, I would have liked to have been able to get the rest back, or at least receive some kind of compensation considering all the mistakes they've made from the start. But nothing of the sort. They're not at all customer-oriented in our opinion. Making mistakes isn't the issue, but they should at least own up to them and correct them when possible. It's a shame, the food was very good, but we won't be going back.

20/07/2026: I came one evening and frankly, I was a bit disappointed. One of the servers was very unhelpful, and the wait for drinks was far too long. Having a business myself, I can understand that it's busy, but 20 minutes for four cocktails, and as soon as we asked the server for something, he seemed to get annoyed. It was simply unacceptable.

15/07/2026: What a shame about this experience. It was extremely hot at the back of the bar. The air conditioning seemed to be working before the football match started, but then it was turned off afterward. When we asked if it could be turned back on, several members of staff responded rather rudely. This is regrettable, especially when the temperatures are high. A simple warning upon arrival would have allowed us to choose another seat. However, thank you to the waiter who was kind enough to open the door at the back of the bar to create a breeze and improve the situation somewhat. Despite this, the burgers were very good.

26/07/2026: After a stroll through the city center with friends, we stopped here for a quick break. The cookies and pastries were absolutely delicious; it's the perfect place when you have a sweet tooth. However, the sandwiches could be a bit more refined to be on par with the sweets, which are definitely the store's strong point.

12/07/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience, not because of the young employee who served us, but because of the management. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing time. There were several groups of customers to serve, and a single employee, who had only been there for two weeks according to what he told us, was handling absolutely everything: preparing the sandwiches, cooking them, taking payments… He was doing his best despite the pressure. Meanwhile, a manager (or a more experienced employee) seemed to be mainly focused on getting the closing tasks done. She only came to help him once the worst of the rush had already passed. What shocked me the most was the way she spoke to him in front of the customers when he asked to take a break. I completely understand that in the middle of service, it's sometimes necessary to turn someone away. Having worked in fast food myself, I know that happens. However, the way you say it matters a great deal. The response was very curt and made everyone uncomfortable, including the customers. The atmosphere immediately became tense. It was clear the young employee was under pressure, and the manager was putting everyone under stress, both her colleague and the customers. We barely had time to choose our ingredients because everything was happening so fast. However, I want to emphasize the young employee's professionalism; he remained polite and courageous despite what seemed like a very difficult situation. I sincerely hope that management will place more importance on the guidance and support of new employees. Good service also depends on respecting employees.

11/07/2026: Honestly, they're really good at making sandwiches. You can't fault them. Just one small drawback: way too much sauce! But it's still very good.

01/03/2026: The ice rink is great for children. It's a shame when you're accompanying them. When you're waiting for your little ones, you can't step out for 5 minutes. Or you can, but you have to go back to the ticket booth...
