18/09/2026: I've never had a meal that was tasteless. Even with lots of pepper, salt, and Parmesan, our food tasted like nothing. What a waste of money and time.

07/06/2026: I came to this restaurant for the first time with my parents. We weren't expecting such kindness and attentiveness from the waitress. We really liked the menu and were surprised by the generous portions! I couldn't have dessert! The appetizers were very substantial and absolutely delicious (two-salmon tartare and poached egg with wine sauce). Pleasant view, calm, and peaceful. A lovely establishment with the hotel right next door. We'll be back soon :-) Sandrine

27/05/2026: The €20 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) offered excellent value for money. The dishes were also prepared with impeccable quality. We were served by a single, charming young woman who was understandably overwhelmed with managing the entire service. A huge thank you to her for her professionalism despite being extremely busy. I was particularly shocked by the lack of action (or presence?) from management or any other staff. I don't know if it was management or a member of their family who handed the phone to the waitress to take a reservation, even though this young woman was already running around everywhere. And was literally taking care of our table payment. It would have been much more efficient and faster for her to handle the reservation herself. The condescension and disregard from these people, who only came to relax behind the bar without even noticing that their employee was overwhelmed and single-handedly running the restaurant (and the kitchen staff too), was appalling. They clearly needed someone in the dining room to help this young woman. Despite everything, this young woman was incredibly helpful, professional, and efficient in carrying out her duties. Respect! 29/08/2026: A very pleasant evening. We tried the Cretan platter, the chef's special, and the pepper and feta platter. Excellent food. Excellent service.

27/08/2026: Dry fries and soggy, fatty meat. Tasteless white sauce and industrial harissa. Absolutely no appeal.

07/10/2026: The staff was incredibly unpleasant! They didn't even bother to finish their sentences before turning their backs. Their manner of speaking was so disagreeable, it was like they didn't want to talk to us. We left.

05/10/2026: Here you have to go in and ask if you can sit down, and they tell you it depends… Once seated, you have to go to the mixed restroom to change a baby—not very hygienic, sharing a toilet with men… No space to change a baby, I had to change him on the toilet… Be aware, there's no access for disabled people, which is a real shame for such a large restaurant! As for the service, I waited 10 minutes before getting up again to order. When I asked the blonde waitress if it was possible to have the steak tartare prepared, she said no because it was too busy! Having worked in this sector, such an answer is a bit disappointing, so I said I didn't want to eat, just drink. The only person who was very kind went to ask in the kitchen to prepare the tartare, a young man of Arab origin, very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the tartare wasn't fresh, so I couldn't eat it. You need to make a big effort with the service, even when it's full. There were at least five tables… Paying €30 for such service is unacceptable.

19/09/2026: A word of advice: avoid this place. It's not a real brunch, but rather à la carte. The dishes took forever to arrive (and were cold), so long that we'd already eaten all the bread because we were starving and had already grabbed the cheese, the only thing on the buffet available. There are plenty of other brunches at the same price that are far superior in quality and with much better service. The atmosphere is incredibly depressing.

28/07/2026: I think it would be better to bring in some younger people to the volunteer team. We need smiles. One of them is a very grumpy older woman who shouts at the customers... otherwise, the food is very good. I think you have to choose your staff carefully, even when it's volunteers, and not hesitate to refuse unwelcoming volunteers.

19/09/2026: We had a delicious meal yesterday! We had two pizzas: chicken/chorizo ​​and burrata/pesto. I have never eaten such a richly topped pizza. They used high-quality ingredients too. The service was very friendly, even though they had to serve a full terrace with just two people. Kudos to the staff and the chef!

15/09/2026: I don't understand the 3.9 rating! Both pizzas were very good and the service was very efficient and polite. Furthermore, it was the only restaurant in Laruns that accepted us after 8:30 pm. Therefore, I highly recommend it.

I arrived at 7:30 pm, a customer had just left, there was still bread on the shelf, and yet the employee refused to serve me even though I was allowed into the bakery. This behavior is completely unprofessional, especially considering the fierce competition less than a kilometer away for the past three years.

23/08/2026: You want to go to a racist restaurant, there you are. Oh, you need water - none for you. Drinks you ordered, but let me serve the French folks first... Even those that came 20 min later. Food, why don't you wait 60 minutes. Why? Because we only think about putting your dinner order after we confirm you have eaten all your appetizers. No wonder there is no tipping in France - service is so crap that these servers would routinely get 0% if they had to rely on tips. For any nom French person thinking about eating here, think again.

22/08/2026: The food is what keeps it from getting three stars! The children's menu is a letdown (no syrup included, no mussels and fries option) and the service is rather poor (except for one very pleasant seasonal worker, thank you to him). Otherwise, the food is very good; it's a shame the rest doesn't live up to it, otherwise the restaurant would be a top choice!

01/10/2026: Avoid at all costs. I've eaten a lot of moules frites in my life, and it's a dish that's hard to mess up. This dish was hard to eat. I'm not a picky eater, but the mussels were overcooked, with a liver-like texture, a tasteless sauce, and way too much celery. The restaurant is right across from the sea, and the terrace is nice. But it's not worth paying for just that.

04/09/2026: A disappointing experience on a Friday during the street market, despite the set menu... The mussels arrived undercooked, went back to the kitchen, but returned still barely open and tasteless. The waitress was very understanding, but the head waiter was rather unprofessional, especially for a place of this caliber. A shame 😣

23/09/2026: Pleasant service, manager, with a green streak in his hair, very very friendly and very warm towards customers, hot products, clean room, everything was impeccable, not being from Laval I will return to this McDonald's without any hesitation.
