25/07/2026: As a long-time customer, we placed an order for 4 people and were very disappointed. The bread was hard, as if it were from the day before. The cheeseburger had too much mayonnaise and the panbagna had more mayonnaise than surimi, which was sickening, and the bread was hard. Needs improvement.

07/07/2026: I came on a Sunday evening, a young man took my order, his girlfriend had a jealous fit and stared throughout the order, she refused to let her boyfriend serve me even though it was his job, when I got home I realized that half of my order was missing.

20/03/2026: Now run by a super friendly and dynamic young couple, the decor and atmosphere have been tastefully redone. Great welcome, and fantastic pizzas—crispy on one side and soft on the other. Generously topped with quality ingredients, I highly recommend it! 👍👍 Thank you so much!

21/12/2025: Well, finding an open restaurant on Sunday, December 21st, in the south of Île d'Oléron, seems like a near-impossible feat. The café on the square is open, the welcome is warm, and the service is impeccable. A simple and pleasant moment. A hamburger and fries, a glass of Bordeaux, a coffee, and that's all it takes.

03/05/2026: The staff were very pleasant, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to improve the overall experience. The establishment is run-down and cramped. The seawater pool is very small with only three massage jets for the large number of guests. The hammam was lukewarm and too small for the number of people. We opted for the brunch package and were very surprised to find that drinks were extra (tea and coffee are essential at brunch...). It's more like a buffet than a brunch offering. However, the buffets are regularly replenished, so there's no problem there. Once is enough; the value for money is completely unacceptable.

28/04/2026: A beautiful place to relax, with many treatments available, including a hammam and sauna. The leisure pool could perhaps use some fountains/waterfalls? My 4-star rating is due to the lack of parking, as finding free parking in Deauville isn't always easy! But it was a wonderful experience! PS: Don't miss the tea fountains once you've put on your bathrobe :)

26/01/2026: We hadn't even tasted the food yet and we already wanted to leave. We were a table of 15 who were going to order a lot, but that didn't stop the servers from being unpleasant. It wasn't possible to make even the smallest change to the burgers despite our allergies. The waitress's responses were curt. We didn't feel welcome at all. 26/01/2026: An arrogant boss or manager who likes to badmouth his customers at the checkout; it's just awkward when you're standing right there. Personally, I won't be eating there again; there are far better restaurants in Vars where you get friendly service.

26/06/2026: Very disappointing service, long wait, hair found in our pasta, uninteresting salad, and bland pesto pasta. Luckily, the burger was good! We don't know about dessert because it hasn't been offered yet!

07/06/2026: Fine for one night, but no consideration when you stay an extra night; the room wasn't cleaned. It's a shame because the location and parking are a plus. Lack of supervision from the staff.

25/05/2026: Tiny room. No toilet paper. No shower gel, and not a single bath towel. We've already complained to reception three times. This is getting ridiculous! To top it all off, they put a mattress topper on the mattress. It's much smaller now, so the bottom sheet is completely overflowing! How are two people supposed to sleep in a messy bed? The staff are constantly chatting in the hallways. The receptionist apologizes, but this is just too much! What's more, the hotel's "private beach" is a patch of uncleaned sand. It looks like the outlet of a sewage canal. When you advertise services online, you have to make sure everything is top-notch! And clearly, there was no follow-up. Huge disappointment! The only positive point was the indoor pool and jacuzzi. A terrible experience. We won't be back.

12/07/2026: RUN AWAY!!! A disastrous meal… A closed terrace, despite being advertised as "full," a deplorable welcome, and staff interfering in our conversations… truly unbelievable. We have never experienced anything like it. Everything needs to be reviewed… both the service and the taste of the food. The photos on the website do NOT AT ALL reflect what we experienced that day. A dessert described as "a failure," but still charged €8. Absolutely no sense of customer service.

08/06/2026: What a wonderful welcome! Warm and friendly... I highly recommend this 2-star hotel and restaurant, which is worth 4 stars. The location is ideal, just steps from the sea and the town center. You sleep very well and the food is excellent. The owners—father, mother, and son—are incredibly kind. It feels like being with family! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

14/02/2026: A lovely little stop at La Table! Warm welcome, quick and efficient service. Everything is delicious. We had the daily special and the tartares that day, and the gourmet coffees too! We'll be back. The owner is very friendly.

29/05/2026: A place discovered by chance, a place that exudes kindness, a place we highly recommend. A simple, fresh, and delicious meal, a very responsive team, a very attentive owner! We will definitely be back.

08/03/2026: I stopped at this establishment for a simple coffee, with the rather extravagant idea—I admit—of having a croissant with it. So I ordered a coffee and asked for a croissant. The waiter's response: "Sorry sir, we're all out. The other customers have taken them all." Very well. The national croissant shortage has clearly started here. A few minutes later, a customer came in, ordered a coffee… and two croissants. Immediate miracle: the waiter calmly brought him his coffee and two croissants, right to his table. A little surprised by this sudden bakery resurrection, I politely asked how this was possible. The very serious reply: "Oh, sir, these croissants were reserved." That's fascinating. So, if I understand correctly, a customer who clearly doesn't know the establishment, who walks in spontaneously, is able to reserve invisible croissants that other customers can't get. Interesting concept: here, croissants seem to be made on a case-by-case basis. For future visitors, I therefore recommend the following strategy: Come here for coffee, but bring your own croissants, and perhaps a pain au chocolat too, just to be safe. This will avoid any logistical disappointment. In short: a rather unique experience. A coffee shop… and an unexpected sociological spectacle. An establishment I don't recommend, unless you enjoy culinary mysteries.

01/07/2026: I rarely leave reviews. Even less so negative ones. Often I simply avoid a place that has disappointed me. But this little deli has the advantage of being on my way home when I get back late from a trip, so I figured the mistakes on the bill weren't a big deal. It's a kind of obligatory tip... Then the bobun was very disappointing. I told myself I was being picky because there's a Japanese place near me that makes excellent ones... Anyway, I hadn't stopped there since last year. But last night, I decided to give it another try. I remember that the tiny Pekingese aren't very tasty. I opted for a spring roll with one portion of coleslaw, one portion of Thai rice, and one skewer. The first thing I noticed was the blatant discrepancy in the filling of the cabbage portion (priced per portion = half-filled container) and the rice (priced by weight), of which I asked for a small portion. She didn't take the smallest container. I insisted I wanted a small one. And then it was a complete farce. She filled the container and weighed it with a mountain of rice on top, already so tightly packed that I couldn't even understand how she was going to be able to seal it. I pointed it out to her with a smile because, frankly, many of us notice the sales tactics of these caterers, but this was truly outrageous. It's disrespectful to the customer. And if that were all... when I got home and went to eat the spring roll, I had only one thought: they really think I'm a fool! There was nothing but rice vermicelli and the rice paper. A little salad for decoration and two slices of shrimp so thin and tasteless they looked like they were printed on the rice paper. I should have taken pictures. No mint, no carrot, not even a hint of chicken. And the sauce was so diluted and therefore tasteless that it wasn't enough to season the rice vermicelli. They really skimped on this sauce that we paid for! The coleslaw was uninteresting. I won't even comment on the kebab. Only the Thai rice, which was slightly spicy, satisfied me. That's it. Avoid this place. I don't even want to imagine all the other techniques they use to increase profit margins; you only have to see some dishes so swimming in sauce that you can't even tell the quality of the main ingredient.

30/05/2026: A very pleasant stop on the Camino de Santiago. We received a very warm welcome. The room and bathroom were very clean with a magnificent view of the bell tower. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed playing darts to relax. Thank you very much!
