Most of the ceiling panels are damaged, the place is overcrowded, and on top of that, the staff are handling food without wearing gloves. I’ve never seen such poor hygiene. 21/06/2026: For our first visit, we enjoyed coming to this establishment. The food was quite good and the service very professional. Good value for money. It was noisy on the terrace (the drivers are solely responsible, not the restaurant), but quiet inside. No complaints. 👍 I recommend it.

03/07/2026: Puzzled to see the average rating of this place is only 3 stars. Its an unabashed traditional French restaurant. My experience is that it is a very good one! Really top quality ingredients, well prepared and presented, with nice wine. If that isn't what you want, don't go there! There are plenty of other places in Les Halles Paul Bocuse.

24/06/2026: A delightful surprise awaits at the Passionnement Truffes restaurant, located in the legendary Marché de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Dishes are prepared to perfection, following the purest French tradition, and are surprisingly fresh and well-prepared. Highlights include the Volleyball and Mushroom Fricassee with Morel Cream and the Veal Rognons with Port Sauce.

10/08/2026: I came here with my family here based on pretty good reviews, but we don’t share the same positivity. I mean it is always nice to find a completely vegan place, but the cleanliness of the place was not great. The water glasses were as dirty as you can imagine. The bathroom sink was quite filthy, too. They have a seasonal menu, which means that the menu on the website is not up to date. That was disappointing. We had a pastrami sandwich, which was ok, the burger was meh. Just dry and hard buns, patty, lettuce, tomato. Nothing more. The coconut water and smoothie were nice though.

07/08/2026: A cozy place with a nice decoration and a good selection of organic food and drinks. We stopped by for some juices and teas, and the flavors were decent overall. One thing to keep in mind is that some of the juices are premade rather than prepared fresh to order, which is worth knowing if you're expecting freshly made juices.

03/02/2026: What a disappointment! I wanted to surprise my husband by inviting him for a weekend. Seeing that their website mentioned the restaurant was closed in November, I emailed the hotel to ask if I could also book dinner for two people that evening if I booked a room. I received confirmation that I could book with the restaurant, which I did through their website. I received confirmation of my order, which included one room, two breakfasts, and two restaurant reservations. What a disappointment when, upon arrival, the restaurant had been closed for two months! As a result, we couldn't find anything open in the village on a Sunday evening. The surprise was completely ruined since we couldn't have dinner. It's a shame because the website is nice, but from our arrival to our departure, we didn't encounter a single person. Furthermore, the €15 breakfast was outrageous, as there was no hot milk, just a small croissant and a pain au chocolat – in short, disappointing in an unheated room. Naturally, I sent them an email, but received no reply, not even an apology. So I reported it to Logis de France, who informed me that they no longer work with them; however, their logo is still displayed on their website.

21/01/2026: A good inn where room and board are provided in a traditional style, with the added bonus of a pleasant atmosphere and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

20/06/2026: Room is too small you don’t have space to open a suitcase, there is no table or closet. Breakfast is really bad you have some cold pancakes, dry bread, bad cheese and some salami. Dinner is different every day but it’s not good. Meet was cooked in old oil, spaghettis didn’t have enough sauce and they were dry. Cleaning lady didn’t make our bed good, she threw our stuff under the bed or in our suitcase. We asked reception if we can get new towels because they gave us dirty ones. She told us we need to watch out for towels because they don’t put new ones every day, which is weird for a hotel. You need to walk 45 minutes to the nearest beach. In my opinion it’s not worth your money and time.

23/12/2025: Authentic and very good cuisine. The presentation could be better, as could the portion sizes (no sauces offered), but be aware of the drink prices. It's a kind of authentic couscous, 'just like homemade'. The owner is very welcoming, and you can feel his passion for the ingredients. The only drawback preventing us from giving it 5 stars is the price of the drinks. €9 for a glass of local wine and €8 for mineral water is excessive and detracts from the otherwise excellent value for money of the dish. We will gladly return if the drinks menu becomes more reasonable or if it includes some extra touches (salads, complimentary sauces).

21/12/2025: Okay, but could be better. There were no menus, nor harissa sauce, which is normally served with couscous. The tables are too close together, which detracts from the privacy.

09/05/2026: I was warmly welcomed by a young salesman, however the granitas are really not good and the pastries are left in the window all day in full sun.

01/09/2025: I met the new manager and the pizzas were appreciated, despite a difference in quality, in my opinion, compared to the original managers. But everyone has their own tastes and colors. The welcome is friendly and welcoming.

20/07/2026: We went to this restaurant on a Friday evening. There were only two tables available, while all the others were full. That should have been a red flag. We ordered a "size" that was only a name; it was three lettuce leaves, two shrimp—really not good. And the rest was the same: very expensive, not generous portions—€100 for three people. For what it is…avoid it!

11/06/2026: WARNING, they have absolutely no respect for their customers!!! We were served burnt noodles as takeout. Check everything thoroughly before leaving the restaurant.

03/08/2026: Despite being very busy, the service was quick and friendly. The coffee and croissant were good, but the doughnuts for the children were stale, both in smell and taste. The palmiers weren't fresh. It's a shame because it's the first time we've been disappointed at a Paul franchise.
