09/08/2026: Aside from the post-renovation decor, the restaurant leaves much to be desired. The Saturday night menu included decent salmon rillettes, sausage and mashed potatoes swimming in oil. Dessert... we didn't see a waiter. Six tables were occupied (16 covers), with three waiters, next to the bar. "We didn't notice," they said when I pointed it out while paying, "but I'll still charge you for the set menu" (which didn't include dessert). It's cheaper than ordering a starter and main course. I've never experienced that before! All this for €30 per person (including one drink per person, at least). I hope you improve quickly, but I won't be going.

21/06/2026: What a pleasure to have discovered this restaurant in Verneuil-sur-Vienne! The welcome was warm and the atmosphere truly pleasant, perfect for a relaxing meal. We were delighted by the quality of the dishes served. A special mention goes to the chocolate fondant, beautifully presented with a scoop of ice cream—a real treat that perfectly capped off the meal. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We will gladly return to try the rest of the menu.

For example, two months ago we ate there and everything was delicious. However, today the calzone tasted like a baguette and it seemed like the pizza was made with industrial dough. 01/07/2026: I've been a regular customer at this Intermarché for years. It's always nice to know the staff, who are welcoming. Since the change of manager, we've noticed a decline. Tonight was the last straw: I bought two beautiful sea bream, and the fishmonger didn't gut or scale them—understandable, she doesn't know how. I won't even mention the fact that the vegetables were subpar. It would be desirable for this manager to train the new staff or hire qualified personnel (it's true that profitability isn't the same), like in the butcher's department where the staff is excellent.

26/06/2026: Terrible. Frequent labeling errors, vegetables that are not fresh at all, products very close to their expiry date, products that are impossible to find to force you to choose their selections and, sometimes, sales that are not sales at all.

30/06/2026: Very unhappy. No greeting, no goodbye. I asked for a sliced ​​country loaf, and the waitress wrapped it in a brown paper bag. I went home, and when I opened the bag, it was just a mush of bread. It must have been too hot to slice, so it ended up in the bin. That's it for Marie Blachère Tignieu for me. 👎

26/04/2026: I rarely leave negative reviews. The slice of carrot cake was extremely dry and hard, therefore tasteless and inedible...as if it had been forgotten at the back of the fridge. The same went for the plain madeleine...dry and tasteless. I couldn't finish it. I don't recommend this bakery for pastries. I didn't try the bread. I got it to go, so unfortunately I couldn't ask for compensation.

19/04/2026: The atmosphere is icy, almost unpleasant, created by the staff. The quality of the products is no longer up to par. Not finishing a croissant is a rare occurrence...

02/08/2026: Extremely disappointed. After a 30-minute wait, we arrived home to find the wrong burger and a Happy Meal without a toy! This is the second time, and there won't be a third!

29/01/2026: We've been having lunch at The Spot since the restaurant was taken over by its new owners. The dishes and desserts are delicious, and the tasteful decor is very pleasant. We'll definitely be back.

03/11/2025: Run away... the restaurant was empty when we went, that should have been a warning sign, but oh well... the outdoor terrace was disgusting, the toilets were disgusting, the owner was calmly drinking with his colleagues... the guy even took out his penis (disgusting), frozen fries, meat not cooked as requested... in short, I thought I was on a gag video or a horror film like "Hostel", don't go there, it's a nightmare in and around the kitchen.

06/06/2026: Not a tourist trap, but a wonderfully authentic and rustic restaurant (and bar) where, just like in the countryside, you can still get a delicious homemade menu for €17 including wine, and at the end they ask if you'd like dessert or cheese. That's how I remember it from France. Very warm and friendly hosts. I don't know if there's even a menu... I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and authentically without any fuss. I'll definitely be back!

26/04/2026: A real old-fashioned hole-in-the-wall, untouched by time and run by a very friendly grandmother. I love finding places like this that have a bygone charm at incredibly low, canteen-style prices. The deviled egg was a tad overcooked, but hey, it's not fine dining. You come here more for the price, the atmosphere, and the hearty, home-style cooking with plenty of choice. A set menu of starter, main course, cheese or dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine included for 17 euros in a posh seaside town is worth noting, especially since I never do that. A real treat.

06/03/2026: A mixed experience. The food was good, although our gyros was very dry. The young woman who greeted us was rather casual and uninvolved. No smile, and the welcome was very cold. She was wearing a sweatshirt (I don't mean to sound old-fashioned, but appropriate attire would be preferable, especially in a restaurant), dirty glasses were sitting on the bar, and the coffee maker was in a deplorable state. I think she should take better care of it, especially since it's in direct view of customers. A response would have been the least she could do.

15/02/2026: This was our third visit to this restaurant, which we used to enjoy, and it will be our last... It was cold inside, and we were poorly seated, at one of the two tables blocked by the partition opposite the restrooms. I had to stop eating and get up so the customers at the next table could leave. Okay, there are worse things, but I've had better dining experiences. The waitress was unpleasant and unprofessional ("Have you ordered yet?", "Can I have more drinks?"), I felt like I was bothering her and dealing with a teenager. We wanted dessert, but her priority was clearly clearing empty tables rather than attending to the remaining customers. We left after a 25-minute wait and had dessert elsewhere.
