17/09/2026: Ordered two cocktails, mediocre service, the waiter barely looked at us. The glasses were dirty, and for the price, they didn't even offer biscuits or peanuts. In other tourist towns in Brittany, the service is much better and more of a bonus. The establishment's success is due to the late evening sun, but otherwise, keep walking.

20/09/2026: The owner was incredibly unpleasant for no apparent reason. I will never return to this place and I advise you against going there as well.

20/09/2026: The worst experience of my life! We just ordered drinks, and the owner came over and literally insulted us, we still don't know why… So, we didn't even eat there and we refused to pay for the drinks. Never go there, it's a disaster. If these people were in their right mind, it's very worrying.

19/09/2026: I stopped by for dinner around 6 pm. I received a warm welcome and the table service was provided by a woman named Clara. The managers were very attentive. I recommend it.

03/10/2026: By pure chance, we ended up in this restaurant—if I can even call it a restaurant, I'd say it's more like a canteen. Anyway, the prices were reasonable, and the menu looked quite appealing... Once there, we asked to be seated inside, but we were instead seated in a veranda with the door wide open, so it would have been the same as being outside. And what can I say about the main course? Two duck parmentiers! We wondered when they'd been made; even pre-packaged meals are better. Sure enough, we were sick all night with stomach cramps and vomiting... So, if I can offer any advice, keep going, and dear Mr. Manager, ask yourself some questions, because I see I'm not the only one complaining!

29/09/2026: Excellent food at fair prices. I recommend the cod parmentier, a generous portion served with a salad. The mussels are served with fries, which is exceptional as they are charged extra at €5 in other restaurants. Top-notch service. Smiling, friendly staff and quick service. Lovely terrace. I highly recommend this establishment.

07/08/2026: A very bad experience at Bistro Régent in Eysines. We've eaten at other Bistro Régent restaurants before and everything has always gone very well. Unfortunately, this time it was a huge disappointment. My partner is pregnant, so we asked for our meat to be cooked medium-rare, making sure to emphasize this to the waiter. We explained that it was very important because of her pregnancy and that the meat needed to be cooked to perfection. He replied that there was no problem. However, the first piece of meat arrived very rare. So we sent it back to the kitchen. When it came back, it was still far from medium (see photo). The meat was still very red in the center. The manager then came to explain that, in her opinion, it was cooked "medium-rare." Honestly, it's hard to understand given the state of the meat. My partner couldn't even eat half of her meal. We had to send it back a second time and finally left the restaurant without finishing our meal. Unfortunately, the service didn't help matters. It was incredibly slow from beginning to end. We had ordered a simple side salad bowl. It arrived almost 15 minutes later, after we had already finished our main courses. For a simple salad, this delay is incomprehensible. Furthermore, this salad bowl now costs €2, which we can understand. However, it arrived only half full, which was truly disappointing. So we sent it back. In the end, between a clearly explained request that was ignored, meat that still wasn't cooked to perfection after two trips to the kitchen, particularly slow service, and a manager who insisted that meat that red was "perfect," we left very disappointed. This is the first time we've had such an experience at a Bistro Régent, and unfortunately, we won't be returning to this establishment.

27/08/2026: What a disappointment! Ever since I was little, I've been used to eating the famous Basque cake from Moulin de Bassilour. But I have to resign myself to speaking of it in the past tense. I came this summer with the firm intention of rediscovering those flavors of yesteryear. So you can imagine my disappointment when I tasted this cake. It was dry, with far too little butter in the dough, and the proportion of cream in the cake was clearly insufficient. Moreover, the cream had a rubbery texture in the mouth. How sad, considering how good it used to be! If you want to choke on your food, I recommend it; otherwise, avoid it at all costs. It's not enough to land a feature on Jean-Pierre Pernaut's legendary 1 p.m. news program; you have to learn from it and work to maintain a sufficient level of quality.

27/08/2026: I bought a Basque cream cake yesterday for 14 euros. The bottom of the cake was burnt, the cream was rubbery and practically nonexistent compared to the amount of batter. The cream had no flavor, and the pastry was dry. The quality is equivalent to a supermarket cake, to put it kindly. You might have gotten a good deal on the baguette, but as for the cakes… I've known this place for forty years; the cakes used to be very good. What a drop in quality and authenticity! I absolutely do not recommend it. There are other places where the cakes are much better. Seeing a TV report on this place shouldn't lull you into complacency about quality. Ask yourself the right questions…

03/09/2026: The daily special is overpriced. While the chicken is good quality, the rest is just frozen food with a generous amount of cheap mayonnaise. By constantly overcharging, customers are staying away.

27/08/2026: While passing through Montpellier, we had lunch at the Leclerc café. I must highlight the very warm welcome from Benjamin and the quality of our lunch. I highly recommend it! Excellent value for money.

08/08/2026: Nice terrace, lovely location, but the price is a bit high for a place that isn't very busy. Only one toilet, and it's out of order. The atmosphere is dreary. The service isn't very well organized.
