16/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at this inn for Valentine's Day. We ate like kings, the food was excellent quality, and the staff were very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

15/12/2025: No menu or prices were given verbally: a three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) for around €40, and a two-course meal (starter or dessert and main) for around €30! The food was of mediocre quality, and the five beef fillets were cooked incorrectly! The foie gras was poorly seasoned and served almost ice-cold! The chocolate mousse was made of powder and sold for €14 in a ramekin meant for crème brûlée! The roasted figs were practically fighting each other on a plate for €17! The wine list was very limited, and there were no soft drinks (Coke, tea, or fruit juice). And to top it all off, the bill was exorbitant (no individual menu options) for €540, including a €42 bottle of wine for six people.

24/07/2026: A very disappointing experience despite the pleasant terrace. The mojito was a mojito in name only: lemonade, three mint leaves, and no lemon. The sea bass fillet was far too overcooked and served without sauce. The children's menu offered only processed ham. We came to treat ourselves, but we left disappointed. A meal that doesn't justify the price. We unfortunately do not recommend this establishment.

22/07/2026: The pots of mussels are incredibly generous. It's the first time in my life I haven't been able to finish them all 😅 The frozen nougat is simply divine.

24/07/2026: A completely out-of-touch waiter who doesn't bring the bill despite multiple requests, very expensive drinks, and waiters who don't agree on the amount of the bill.

10/07/2026: The waiter with the thick-rimmed glasses scams tourists. He knew we were tourists; he didn't bring us a receipt, but he did for everyone else. He charged us over 12 euros for a beer and a coffee. I didn't want to argue with him because I think it's despicable that they do that just to pocket 5 euros.

22/05/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! I paid a lot and got kicked out when I was at my most relaxed. I wasn't looking for trouble, I just kept my distance, but I ended up paying way too much for this lousy company.

18/07/2026: Order received with the drink half spilled, no sauces, and a sandwich missing. I've been trying to contact them for 45 minutes but no one is answering; it's a disgrace.

17/07/2026: I came to eat with some foreign friends. The blonde waitress stared at us, made us wait ages to pay, and served us hamburgers without napkins. The service was appalling; I won't be going back. And to top it all off, she refused to let us use the restroom, even though it was working and anyone could use it. I get the impression they only serve French people here, not foreigners. I'm baffled.

06/06/2026: Restaurant permanently closed, breakfast at €7 with very little choice (they're cutting corners), no more bottled water, coffee, or tea in the rooms. And on top of that, they block bad reviews on Booking.com 🤬. I used to be a regular, but I won't be going back!!

25/05/2026: Very surprised! Superb place, superb and very friendly welcome... Magnificent setting, stylishly decorated room, we slept well, very quiet, a nice change and I loved it! Okay, the bathroom isn't amazing but it's sufficient, I didn't spend the night in it...it's clean, which is what counts, just like the room, plus it has a fridge, which is fantastic!! Large free private parking lot, that's a big plus! The lady at reception is really very friendly, kind, and attentive... It's a real shame about the restaurant (closed), we would have loved to eat there with such beautiful dining rooms and such a magnificent exterior... Excellent value for money compared to other, much more expensive establishments!!!! We'll definitely keep this address in mind 😜

19/05/2026: I have absolutely no complaints. They ran out of beef with onions, but the waitress prepared some freshly made for me right then and there. I'll definitely be back; everything is excellent.

06/05/2026: Superb view, very average room, very expensive restaurant for what it offered, and a very unpleasant waiter (apparently the owner). However, the breakfast was excellent.

01/05/2026: The view was magnificent, the food decent, but I've never been treated like this in my life. The person in charge of seating us treated us with utter contempt from the moment we arrived. We wanted to eat on the terrace (the weather was gorgeous), but this man refused, claiming it was going to rain... he finally relented after hurling unpleasant remarks at us. In the end, about 20 people ate on the terrace; not a drop of rain had been forecast.

31/05/2026: Taking a trip up to 1800 meters in the off-season is a bold move that I fully embraced, simply to experience the resort in a way I'd never seen it before during my ski holidays at the Hotel Valérie. And since I felt so comfortable there, with guaranteed lodging and meals, in such a warm atmosphere, I inevitably return, like a pilgrimage, just to relive moments I'll never forget.

20/03/2026: Catastrophic experience. Extremely unpleasant welcome, even with our daughters present. After an 8.5-hour drive, we arrived to dirty rooms (they hadn't been vacuumed). Simply asking for a broom made the manager get angry, reluctantly cleaned one room, and we had to clean our daughters' room ourselves. There was no shower screen in the bathtub, so water flooded the entire bathroom when we showered. I understand it's a 2-star hotel with basic standards, but cleanliness and, above all, basic courtesy are the bare minimum for a service-oriented business. Positive point: idyllic location and very white, clean towels. Breakfast was adequate but equivalent to that of an Ibis Budget, so €8-9 max. -> EVERYTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED! (It has potential, though. They need to change management and give it a fresh start, and it would be great.) What a shame... Saving for eight months for a ski holiday and being treated like this. Truly disappointing. Especially since I'm a regular at Montgenèvre, which is a family-friendly resort with a great atmosphere...

14/07/2026: Passing through Annonay, we tried this "pizzeria." The pizza dough was terrible, like brioche or something. The menu listed "1664 white," but they didn't have any. The beer was served warm, and the water was the same. The bread must have been stale. The salad was bagged and not good at all. The only positive point was the young waiter, who was very polite, despite the owner being completely unpleasant to him.

12/07/2026: Unacceptable! I found a hair in my pizza!! So I wanted to ask for a new pizza, but the manager, Carminé, refused and said I was lying and that it was my own hair, even though I'm blonde with long hair and the hair was short and brown! They've lost a regular customer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

16/07/2026: Everything was perfect. The team and the menu. The service was quick. The waiters were friendly.

15/07/2026: Two weeks in a row, on a Sunday late afternoon: Cold sandwiches and fries twice, brittle bread once, no ice because "we don't have much left" twice, no cup for the World Cup twice... Avoid this place!

05/07/2026: I'm usually never disappointed, but tonight on the phone they confirmed the points were taken for delivery, but the delivery driver never wanted to take them... we are regular customers, this is really not good business practice!

03/07/2026: Excellent pizza! Free home delivery and a complimentary drink. What more could you ask for? Thank you so much!

09/07/2026: Very good bar/tobacconist, lots of choice, friendly atmosphere, I recommend it.
