31/07/2026: It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, sure, but the quality isn't there. There was a good selection of starters, which is why I gave it a good rating. As for the hot dishes, avoid them at all costs, whether it's the shrimp noodles (which were poorly sanitized) or the chicken casserole. The salmon bowl was just okay. Regarding the service, they try to discourage people from going back for seconds by making little comments like, "Well, we like to go back for seconds," or "You again?" or "Haven't we met before?"... Nothing malicious, but it's not very welcoming.

19/06/2026: I came to eat with my friends. The salad wasn't cut or washed, the kebab was dry, nothing was right. My friend ordered a shepherd's burger, and an animal was found inside. She asked for it to be replaced and even tore off a piece of bread to see if they would give her the same burger back. They did. Anyway, I absolutely do not recommend the ravioli. Don't even get me started. A friend ordered some, and it went straight from the colander to the plate. For the price, it was disgusting. The meat smelled awful. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

15/06/2026: Getting worse and worse, the kebab was barely hot, the fries were terrible, and the sauces were even worse. It's not what it used to be, I won't be going back.

08/09/2026: I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. THE MEAT WAS OVERCOOKED. THE SAUCE WAS ABSOLUTELY NON-SENSE. There was absolutely NO SAUCE. For the price we paid, it's unacceptable. DO NOT GO THERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

29/09/2026: Restaurant with excellent value for money. The Savoyard fondue was very good, a generous portion for a very reasonable price for old Annecy. The service was also very good.

18/09/2026: Since the change of ownership, this restaurant has lost its soul! How sad. The bar is always closed, and the cleanliness is starting to suffer. It's high time to take action before the curtain falls on this restaurant that once brought life to this village. To be continued…

17/09/2026: We stumbled upon this place while having coffee and ended up staying for lunch during a construction project nearby. We returned a few days later, eager to enjoy an excellent couscous served by the charming and incredibly professional Manon 🥰, who has a delightful sense of humor... Unfortunately, there wasn't any left, even though we had reserved that morning. But the wonderful Manon found a solution 🙏 by making us two special couscous dishes 😉. These two excellent experiences prompted me to leave this review. A place to discover or become a regular! 👍 Christophe and Jaky...

28/08/2026: We held our wedding reception at La Tour. The setting is very pleasant and peaceful. The outdoor terrace is perfect for an outdoor cocktail reception and is well laid out (sofas, parasols, etc.). The restaurant is well-equipped and the decor complements the venue. From our initial contact to our wedding day, the sales manager was attentive and efficient. The cocktail hour and meal were generous and enjoyed by everyone. The presentation of the wedding cake was lovely. A big thank you to the entire team who were present and attentive on our special day.

06/06/2026: A little sweet treat this afternoon: a mille-feuille, a calisson, and a Tropézienne tart. All three pastries were delicious. But a special mention goes to the Tropézienne with its hint of orange blossom and candied lemons inside—it's absolutely divine. Sure, it's more expensive than a typical pastry shop, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it's such a shame to pay an extra euro on average to eat in. That's why I'm only giving it four out of five stars.

12/05/2026: Terrible owner! Very poor service! We were told to walk around the roundabout if we weren't happy. After discussing our dissatisfaction with the waitress, the manager arrived, and who was he with?! He didn't question his welcome at all. In short, a restaurant to absolutely avoid. On the other hand, the waitress was very pleasant.

07/09/2026: This was the friendliest restaurant during our holiday in Montalivet; we even went twice! The service is excellent (even when there's a minor hiccup, it's handled with a light touch and good humor—the owner will know us! 🤣). Finally, the meals are very pleasing to the eye and to the palate, unpretentious yet full of flavor, and above all, not too salty. Thank you 🙏

01/09/2026: The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding either. The portions were very small, and unfortunately, everything was only lukewarm. It also took a very long time. Just getting a menu took forever. The welcome was very unfriendly, and one of the waiters barely spoke. The wine was actually very good, but as soon as the bottle was opened, the waiter disappeared. Given the relatively high prices, I would have expected better service. Furthermore, it was clear that French customers were being given preferential treatment. It's a shame, really. The ambiance was actually quite nice. But many customers seemed annoyed due to the lack of service. We never received the espresso we ordered. We were there with a child, and because everything was so extremely delayed, her patience quickly ran out.

18/08/2026: The staff were friendly and the place is spacious. However, the music, Zara/H&M style, is much too loud; you can even hear it through headphones. Furthermore, there's no air conditioning, which should be taken into account in a hot city like Lyon. At the very least, a few fans to circulate the air would make a real difference. The coffee is fairly standard. Overall, the young people who served us were friendly and attentive. I hope to return, since it's close to my home, and I hope these comments will be taken constructively. I wish I could come more often.

21/08/2026: It says we close at 9:30 PM, but you're not allowed to order takeout after 9 PM 😅 In that case, you close the service at 9 PM, not 9:30 PM.

31/07/2026: This restaurant benefits from the near absence of competition. If competition were to arrive, they would have to do better, meaning at the very least, be good. - The service was unpleasant. Granted, there were no smiles, but sighing when a customer asks for a carafe of water is unheard of. Wine selection should be requested at the very least during the meal, ideally beforehand, but not at the end with an air of annoyance at the response of "nothing, thank you." - I ordered a pizza, and I was disappointed. It wasn't to my taste, let's just say. I came once before but returned to give it "a chance," and also because it's the only restaurant in the area. I think I'll pass from now on.

22/09/2026: I highly recommend the lamb kebab, it was truly delicious.

14/09/2026: I went there with my sister and honestly, the kebab was top-notch! No complaints, the meat was perfectly cooked, everything was absolutely perfect. The owner is very friendly. We're from Ariège, and we'll definitely be back.
