05/05/2026: Some of the staff were rather unfriendly, asking us, "Are there still many pizzas left?" when we ordered by phone, and seemed eager to hang up. No information was given about the wait time. We called back several times, and the wait kept getting longer; we finally waited 2.5 hours. The pizza dough was sometimes undercooked, sometimes burnt. A huge disappointment. The only advantage was that the pizzas weren't too expensive, thankfully.

05/05/2026: DISAPPOINTMENT! Huge disappointment, nothing like the past. The pizza was way overcooked. As for the burger, the bun was dry, one patty was raw and the other was cooked and definitely spoiled, it smelled awful, and €14 for just the fries. The goat cheese salad had completely undercooked bacon bits, no dressing whatsoever, and three potatoes that were practically fighting over each other and completely dry. What a shame, but that's it for us.

12/04/2026: The waiter was extremely unpleasant and didn't know the basics of politeness.

03/04/2026: The atmosphere is nice, you can eat on the terrace with a view. The staff is friendly enough. The food leaves much to be desired... the quiche was burnt, and the lasagna tasted like a frozen one.

05/10/2026: The food wasn't bad, but the atmosphere was truly awful! We wanted a quiet lunch, but all the staff were shouting at each other. Especially the woman behind the bar. What kind of service is that? We ended up stressed out and will obviously never be back. I absolutely do not recommend it. No respect for the customer.

12/08/2026: The staff were very kind and welcoming, and offered great advice! Unfortunately, one person (we were told the manager) is quite aggressive and unpleasant with customers. It's a shame…

22/03/2026: Do not let the 'Paris romance' marketing fool you. This is a predatory tourist trap in a pedestrian zone. We were seated at a tiny, smelly table right next to the open kitchen. When a better table by the street became free, we politely asked to move. The manager claimed it was for '4 people minimum,' yet we watched him seat multiple couples at identical tables right after. When I pointed this out, his attitude turned hostile, claiming those guests were 'waiting for friends' (they weren't). The poor waiter was clearly embarrassed by his boss’s behavior, but the manager eventually ordered him not to serve us at all. They don’t want customers; they want victims to cycle through as fast as possible. Save your money and go somewhere authentic."

21/01/2026: I ordered two Christmas menus for my parents, and when I called today to reserve, they said they were permanently closed. This evening I received a call; they will refund me at the beginning of February.

05/12/2025: Customers turned away! We booked online and traveled 100km only to be told they no longer accept Smartbox vouchers. Disappointed.

17/01/2026: Many years ago, I worked with Michèle and Yvan at Le Neptune restaurant (since then, I've become a restaurateur on the shores of Lake Geneva). They are true professionals, respectful of authentic cuisine, their customers, and the service staff. At Le Neptune, trust is paramount, and respect is their strength. 16/01/2026: Worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life… I ordered a tomato-based pizza with salmon that they call the Nordic. The salmon tasted like nothing but salmon, the tomato sauce was incredibly acidic, and they added something in the middle of the pizza that looked like crème fraîche—I don't even know what it was. In short, I was very disappointed. The pizza cost €15! I would have gone to the kebab shop near my house; I would have eaten better for less, and at least I would have known what was in my food. I do not recommend this pizza. NEVER AGAIN!!!

27/09/2026: Having visited several times, I'm leaving a review that reflects both my customer experience and my professional background, having worked for many years in the restaurant industry as a cook, chef de partie, sous-chef, head chef, and also as a restaurant owner, in professional catering and my early days in Michelin-starred restaurants. Before even eating, I had the unpleasant surprise, on several occasions, of encountering an employee at the bar who never knew how to properly serve me a half-pint. Each time, he would pour my half-pint with at least half the glass full of foam and then wait for it to settle. While waiting, he would fill a new glass with beer and use it to slowly pour the beer into my glass. As a result, the beer had time to go flat and start to lose temperature, which isn't ideal after such hot days this summer. The first time I ate there, I went to the hot food counter. An employee told me it was roast veal, but then another person arrived and announced it was roast pork. When I finally got to my table, the roast was very dry despite the sauce; I often needed a sip or two, at least, to help the meat absorb the sauce. Another time, I ordered duck, which was fine. Once I had a side dish, I ordered duck breast. I had asked for it to be pink, but it was medium-rare, almost well-done. The plate was minimally presented, but I won't complain about that. We're in a cafeteria, not a traditional restaurant, a gourmet establishment, or a Michelin-starred restaurant. Later, I came back and ordered braised ham. I, who personally use very little salt, almost never, was quite surprised. Indeed, the first bite of ham I took was like the Dead Sea. I tasted the ham on its own, thinking perhaps the supplier had gone overboard with the salt, but in the end, nothing. So I took a small piece of bread, dipped it in the sauce, and put it in my mouth—it was awful. I, who usually only drink a small carafe of water, that day I drank two, but even then, for quite a while, I still felt like I had a heavy dose of salt on my tongue, even after having a coffee. Later still, I ordered the Orloff roast. I have to admit, I looked for the cheese, and as for the bacon, it was very crispy, hard, and difficult to chew, and sometimes it felt a bit rough in my throat. But the biggest mistake I made that day was asking for zucchini. They just threw the zucchini onto my plate instead of putting it in a separate dish, and as a result, the zucchini water quickly mixed with the roast's sauce. Again, not good at all. I ended up with a half-watery roast sauce. I admit, I know perfectly well, we're in a cafeteria, not, as I said earlier, a gourmet restaurant or a fancy establishment, or even a Michelin-starred one. I'd describe it more as home-style, family-run food. But when I go out to eat somewhere, I still expect a minimum level of quality, even if I don't expect perfection. Since That day, the last day I ate there, was over; I'm not eating there anymore. Some people were smiling, others less so, and some not at all. It depends on the day, but for me, I think that when you work with customers, you leave your problems at the door. I wish them all the best nonetheless.

My son has never complained about the sandwiches, so no worries there. And I've never had any complaints about the bar service either, as the staff is mostly friendly and polite, although unfortunately, I've noticed that some customers are less than courteous or even rude to the employees. The owner always has a smile on his face when I see him. After a meal on Saturday, August 1st, during which I ordered duck breast with fries, I also had a salad, melon and country ham, a cheese plate, and I tasted my wife's Aligot. Everything was good, although the duck breast was slightly overcooked (I had asked for it medium-rare), but oh well, otherwise it was tender. My duck breast was presented simply, but we're in a cafeteria, not a restaurant, so that's fine. I hope the owner finally finds his permanent team, which unfortunately keeps changing (this is often the case in the restaurant industry, and certainly in cafeterias as well). Two new people seem pretty good, and one other new person is friendly and smiling when I see her. My favorite was there, but not at the bar, and my second favorite wasn't there either. 17/08/2026: Hello, I had two lemongrass soups delivered with shrimp ravioli and two portions of salmon. The food was very tasty and generous—five large ravioli in the soup, we definitely got our money's worth. However, the service was just okay. The delivery driver, although very friendly, delivered to the street instead of to your door. You should tell customers: "Delivery to your street." I know it's a flat rate for both dine-in and delivery, but it would be great if the driver actually came to the door. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic. 12/08/2026: Passing through the area on vacation, I stumbled upon an excellent fast-food place. The food was of very good quality and the portions were generous. It was hot and absolutely delicious. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The service is excellent; the waitress is smiling, polite, and kind. It makes you want to come back and eat there more often 😉

13/09/2026: It's changed a lot; it's not the chip shop I knew. The prices, the fries, nothing is right. You order a burger, and the patty is so thin you're eating bread with raw vegetables. In short, a disappointment. It's changed so much, not to mention the cleanliness of the staff and the premises.

31/08/2026: I only made a quick stop on the terrace. I received a very warm welcome, and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, there was only popcorn to eat...

12/08/2026: I've only recently discovered this bakery and I'm surprised by the previous comments. I loved their croissants 😊, especially the almond and raspberry ones. The multigrain bread is my favorite, but I haven't tried everything yet 🤓

09/07/2026: Very good burgers, I go there frequently when I'm working in the area. The prices are reasonable, there's a good selection, and the service is generally quick, although sometimes there's a queue. Which is somewhat understandable given that it's only open for two hours, Monday to Friday. It's a shame it's not open in the evenings and on weekends, especially when you're working and there's not much food available in the neighborhood. The downside is that in winter, if you want to eat in, it's usually cold, sometimes even very cold. I tried it once, and after that, I've gotten takeout every time.
