23/04/2026: A regular customer... I walked by but didn't stop. Eric was an excellent waiter, very friendly, always smiling and attentive to his customers... but this time, I just kept walking. The new owner didn't seem very available and was quickly overwhelmed... what a shame! It used to be a peaceful and welcoming place.
22/04/2026: The service, hygiene, and atmosphere have changed considerably since the departure of the previous manager.

For lunch, I went to the store. I asked the saleswoman what salad she had to offer because it wasn't very visible.
So I chose a ham and melon salad and a fig tart to share.
When I arrived at the office, the salad was a pasta salad with ham but no trace of melon!!
The tart was excellent, but it's a shame the prices aren't properly positioned or placed in front of the products.
The display isn't very organized (price/product).

15/06/2026: I come here often because I love their baguettes. My boyfriend paid €7.10 for three baguettes and a three-chocolate pastry. The price displayed in the window isn't the same; the one shown is €3.90, but they charged him €4.50 for a slice of the three-chocolate pastry. I'm disappointed and I sincerely think I'll find another bakery.

26/06/2026: I've never left a review for a restaurant before, but my experience here was disastrous. They advertised two Savoyard pizzas (country ham, Reblochon cheese, onions, and cream), but what we got was a thick crust with a little Reblochon cheese and a slice of country ham baked on top. No cream, no onions, no flavor... Very disappointed 😔
14/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed a delicious meal, and were very friendly staff. It's a shame Eveline is retiring.

03/07/2026: The service was pleasant, but avoid this place for lunch: over €6 for a sandwich with stale bread, a bagged salad, and I'm still looking for the sun-dried tomatoes. As for desserts, I ordered two: a lemon meringue tart (more jelly than lemon) and a pistachio/raspberry entremet (three small raspberries in the slice, and only the color hinted at the pistachio). A bland culinary experience for a set menu and an additional dessert costing over €16.
01/07/2026: I had a slice of "pizza" before closing time... I've never eaten anything with so little taste... €4.50 for a slice of pizza that was nothing.

01/03/2026: It used to be a good bakery, but now… the service is unpleasant, the saleswoman doesn't listen to our order, gets the price wrong, and the quality has dropped so much. Really disappointed.
25/02/2026: I bought some individual cakes, they're very good. However, I bought gluten-free ones, and the problem is the saleswoman didn't know what she was talking about. I trusted her, and luckily the person didn't eat them. Please don't sell without knowing what you're selling; otherwise, they're very good.

17/07/2026: The welcome was fantastic, the service was quick and efficient, and the food was of very good quality. I 100% recommend this chip shop; you feel so comfortable there. After all the negative reviews I've seen, I advise you to go for yourself. Honestly, I was very well received, the meal was excellent, and the price is really reasonable.

Then, she served me my café crème, which had spilled into the saucer, with the sugar packets swimming in the coffee. I showed her the cup, but she didn't react. The place is quiet and pleasant.
14/07/2026: The south used to be my favorite place, I held meetings there with my clients to discuss things and have a good time with a beautiful view, but recently it has changed, the staff is not up to par at all, too much waiting, things are forgotten, the food is not great, etc. In short, today I just wanted to tell you that you have lost a client who had been a client of yours for 7 years now and you are losing several clients unfortunately.

15/07/2026: The only bakery open this Wednesday in Houlgate. Two young women were serving. It was difficult for them to serve both breakfasts and bread. I never go there anyway because the quality of their products isn't great. And there I was, at 8 a.m. in the summer with a long queue already... the bread looked more like a baguette.
12/07/2026: The atmosphere was unwelcoming. I was served after three families who had gone in after me. I had already paid and couldn't leave at that point, so I had to wait a good ten minutes by the counter just to get a quiche and a traditional loaf of bread, which I asked to be reheated. The bakers gave my loaf to another customer who came in after me and were clearly disorganized. I'm quite disappointed.

29/03/2026: Unfortunately, they closed during opening hours and stopped serving hot food at 2:30 PM! :( We had a hard time getting cold food, so this year it wasn't a good experience.
23/03/2026: The atmosphere is nice and the chalet is actually very typical. The service is ok too. But the food is really not where it needs to be. Burger was tasteless and the patty had a greasy/old taste. I would not recommend.

08/07/2026: I came this morning to buy a slice of pizza; they're usually quite good, but this time when I bought my slice, it was burnt to a crisp, both on the sides and underneath. It would be nice if they didn't sell things that are burnt...
17/06/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit to Marie & Blachère in Viriat. I ordered a chocolate donut that was completely dry, inedible, and had a truly unpleasant taste. I suspect it wasn't fresh.
Furthermore, the service was very disappointing: an elderly person spoke very curtly and gave me a nasty look. I do not recommend this place.
