13/09/2026: A very pleasant atmosphere; we dined inside as it was a bit chilly. The chicken tagine with preserved lemon was delicious and generous, as was the merguez couscous. The service was very good, considering the terrace was packed and the decor was really lovely. We had a brief visit from the owner, a charming gentleman, followed by a very friendly chef. We will gladly return; it's a great place.

31/08/2026: Unfortunately, a disappointment. The staff was quickly overwhelmed – they expected to take drink and food orders within one minute of handing out the menus. The owner is very friendly, but it's no use if the pizza is advertised with the wrong ingredients. Merguez is not chorizo. Overall, a well-intentioned 3 out of 5.

11/07/2026: I think this is one of the worst restaurants you can find in Lille. The food is bland and uninteresting; everything is reheated and freshly microwaved. Not to mention the sweet and sour sauce, which tastes like ketchup diluted with water and sugar. The dishes gave me indigestion, as I don't think they adhere to hygiene standards. I strongly advise against going there.

11/08/2026: We ended up at the InterContinental for a late lunch after discovering, once again, that finding somewhere serving food after 2.30pm in Marseille can be quite an adventure. The hotel itself is beautiful and wonderfully calm, and the first-floor terrace is a lovely place to sit, although on such a hot Marseille afternoon the brumisateurs were struggling to make much difference. We ordered two burgers with fries, at around €30 each. When mine arrived, the beef was extremely rare, far more so than I would ever choose. I ate about half because I was hungry and initially assumed this was simply how the burger was served. My companion’s burger was noticeably more cooked. Eventually, out of curiosity, I asked one of the waitresses whether the burgers were normally served this way. The first thing she asked was whether we had been asked how we wanted the meat cooked. We hadn’t. She immediately took the burger back to the kitchen and, around ten minutes later, returned with a completely freshly cooked one. And I really want to emphasise this: she was wonderful. No defensiveness, no awkwardness, no making us feel difficult. She simply understood the problem and dealt with it immediately and graciously. The other bar and terrace staff we encountered were equally warm, professional and lovely. In fact, I felt genuinely bad afterwards that we hadn’t left them a tip, because the service absolutely deserved one. Unfortunately, the replacement burger was only average, and the fries were particularly disappointing: overcooked yet somehow soggy. At around €30 for a burger and fries, that’s difficult to overlook. And perhaps this review is part of something bigger for me. I’ve stayed quiet about disappointing experiences for a long time, but I’m increasingly tired of expensive restaurants, hotels and cafés charging premium prices while serving food or drinks that are below average. So I’ve decided to start reviewing places honestly, good and bad. Not to attack businesses or the people working incredibly hard in them, but because price and quality should still have some relationship to one another. When somewhere is brilliant, I want to say so. When it isn’t, I think it’s equally fair to say that too. This is absolutely not a criticism of the staff here. Quite the opposite. They were the best part of the experience and handled the situation beautifully. The hotel and terrace are gorgeous, the people looking after us were excellent, but at this price point the food should match both the surroundings and the standard of service. Sadly, on this occasion, it didn’t.

12/04/2026: A very nice experience. The hotel was very clean, the reception was impeccable, and the restaurant was excellent. Nothing to complain about.

01/04/2026: The location doesn't justify the prices at this hotel; it's terrible value for money! On the first day, there was no remote control! No proper bathtub plug! It was impossible to take a bath, and anyway, the water was barely lukewarm! Breakfast was the bare minimum! There was no light in my room! The 1970s carpet is disgusting, and that's just the beginning... avoid at all costs!

22/07/2026: Reservation at 12:15 PM, still no entry at 1:00 PM. Terrible service and unpleasant waiter. Avoid at all costs

15/07/2026: While the service and food are good, the place is very run-down. The blinds are broken and haven't been replaced, and the flowerpots are empty. The interior is in need of renovation. Everything is outdated and requires a complete overhaul. This restaurant's standards are no longer in line with current trends.

03/09/2026: I selected my item, and when I went to pay, the payment went through, but the system restarted, and my item wasn't there. Second time. Annoying!

16/08/2026: It has the merit of being there, and even on Sundays the prices are okay, a little more expensive but not crazy, let's not exaggerate. When I see some comments, it bores me.

05/05/2026: The owner is one of the best shopkeepers in Corbeil-Essonnes. Customer service and well-being are his strengths. The coffee is very good, by the way… This place is truly special to me; it's perfect for a drink with family or friends. THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

14/04/2026: The manager's alright. But there's his son who manages things way, way, way, way, way badly; avoid going to the bar when he's working.

04/07/2026: The "mexde" in the photo is a butter croissant, and next to it is a disgusting, uncooked bacon-filled pastry. Obviously, it wasn't cooked. The waitresses were unpleasant and rude. Places like this should be shut down. Disgusting.

07/06/2026: One star for the staff, though, because the traditional baguette is bad; it's all crust, like a dry, old crouton, and yet it was freshly baked. The rest is expensive for what it is, but that's pretty typical of Parisian bakeries in general.

02/10/2026: Drinks were really good value, the male waiter was very friendly and attentive. Female waitress rude and dismissive, her attitude made us regret spending money in this establishment!

27/09/2026: The atmosphere is pretty cool and it's a nice place to spend time with friends. However, the food was a huge disappointment: the dishes were really bad and clearly not up to par. The service was also fairly average, though not terrible. There's potential thanks to the ambiance and setting, but they really need to improve the quality of the food and the service. They can definitely do much better.

26/09/2026: Scam bar. They under dose the drinks and when you confront the staff they don’t take responsibility and kick you out. Avoid.

27/07/2026: Too long a wait, we were there for over 2.5 hours and twice they made a mistake with our order. We won't be back.

26/07/2026: It's not what it used to be! Disappointed. We won't be going back. The quality isn't there anymore, but the prices are. Appetizers are served at the same time as the meal. The plates are ugly. The desserts are poorly prepared. Besides, there weren't many people for a Saturday night. People are getting tired of it. They need to innovate and revitalize the whole place!

20/09/2026: we went to see a concert with musicians from London Soul R&B and jazz soit disant, and it was so disappointing, all the sound of all songs were the same, and they played like Lounge music, not real sound, no melody, always the same rhythm, very strange to announce such a great performance with some known names..... Too hot and we had asked 4 times for water ......bad service.

20/09/2026: Great jazz club (vocal jam session that night)! I got a seat quickly on a Saturday night. Price: €8 extra on the first drink.

27/08/2026: Friendly service. The waffles are generous and delicious! The ice cream, however, is tasteless.

25/08/2026: A must-stop in Saint-Goustan! 🍦 The ice creams at L'Igloo are truly delicious, with rich and well-balanced flavors. The texture is light, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The location is ideal on the port: perfect for enjoying an ice cream while strolling along the quays. The service is friendly and welcoming, even when it's busy. A refreshing little break just the way we like them: simple, delicious, and friendly. A place to keep in mind for warmer weather! We love it!
