26/06/2026: Friday is aioli day! The cod was perfectly cooked, as were the vegetables. And the aioli sauce was delicious! 😋 The carpaccio and fries were also perfect. Ideal for lunch. Good value for money.

21/06/2026: The air conditioning is broken... I think it's been broken for a long time... frequented by a bunch of drunks... smell of all the smoking stuff in the indoor dining area... a shame because the home-style cooking is good

14/07/2026: Hi, so we were turned away from Melkior because we weren't regulars, so we came here to finish the evening properly, drink, dance, you know the drill. The bouncer said to my friend and me, and I quote, "You're tired." I asked him for an explanation because I didn't understand what he meant, and he just repeated it. #lameexcuse. I don't see a soul on weekends, because Dijon is as dead as Père-Lachaise Cemetery, and then I decide to go out and get turned away. This place simply doesn't have the class we have. (For your information, only one drink had been consumed before we arrived.)

14/07/2026: What can I say? We ordered two Cokes, and the waiter brought us two already opened Coke Zeros, which is against the rules (they're supposed to be opened in front of us). Then we were told the bar was closing soon, so we tried to finish our drinks quickly. Not even 30 seconds later, he came back and said, "That'll be 27 euros." We went to pay, I paid, and realized the bill was incredibly high. I told the waiter, and he started telling me that carafes of tap water were being charged at 1 euro each, which is illegal because tap water is free. I pointed out that it was against the rules, and he told his colleague, "Give him back his 4 euros," referring to the difference he was missing. It wasn't 4 euros, but he tried to rip us off without admitting he was wrong, and if he does this to all the customers, it'll add up to a good amount! Please double-check your bill before paying, beware!

07/07/2026: Nice terrace, friendly welcome. Friday is market day in Barjac. Terrace fills up quickly. But it's a nice place where people meet up for a drink, a coffee ☕️ or simply to spend some quality time with friends.

14/06/2026: We saw two cooks/waiters who clearly have nothing better to do than report cars parking in the delivery zone on the street by sending photos to the police station… on a Sunday afternoon. What a great attitude, which makes you want to do absolutely nothing but set foot inside the restaurant. Avoid at all costs, shame on you!

25/06/2026: Bakery tried this place for lunch today, avoid it at all costs!!! The owner at the till is incredibly unpleasant, the sandwiches taste stale, and the mayonnaise is warm. Yes, it's hot, but the food is clearly very poorly stored!!

17/07/2026: Excellent, fast service, the drinks on offer are very good, and the staff is pleasant. Very convenient as it's located in the convention center and just steps from hotels and public transport. Perfect for a quick breakfast, whether you eat in or take away.

13/07/2026: The floor is littered with trash. So are the tables. The sofa is stained with a drink. Despite the lack of a queue, the staff didn't clean up. And they made me pay and served me a drink one size larger. 🫥

31/03/2026: As a regular customer of this establishment for several years, I was particularly disappointed during my last visit. The salmon on the "light salmon" pizza had a harsh taste and was clearly inedible. I reported the problem, but the manager failed to handle the situation satisfactorily, leaving me without a real solution. While I wasn't charged for the dish, I still left without having eaten, which is very frustrating. Given my fondness for this restaurant, I find this experience all the more regrettable.

01/05/2026: Delighted to return to Courtepaille, but what a disappointment. It wasn't good at all. The ratatouille was a joke in name only; it was so watery and practically devoid of any vegetable pieces that it should have been served with a spoon. I thought I was playing it safe by choosing the flan for dessert... tasteless, disgusting crust, and served warm! @_@

07/06/2026: I was very disappointed by this experience. For an €18 set menu, I expected much better. The portions were quite small, especially the starter. The main course wasn't huge either, but it was extremely greasy, and I couldn't even finish it. The dessert, rice pudding, was just as disappointing; it was more like a bowl of rice mixed with milk than actual rice pudding. The worst part, however, was the service, which was appalling from beginning to end. The staff were unfriendly, gave the impression of being a bother, and showed no attention to the customers. Between the poor quality of the food, the insufficient portions, and the unpleasant welcome, the value for money was very poor. I do not recommend this establishment and I will not be returning.

24/05/2026: Unpleasant owner. Meals made with frozen products. The crepes weren't homemade. Thanks to the waiter and best of luck to him.

17/07/2026: We ate there several times. Once I got sick. I had a feeling something was wrong. Then a second time it was my daughter's turn. She had a dish that tasted strange. I also had the impression I'd eaten something questionable. We won't be going back.

01/07/2026: Shameful. Due to an error at the kiosk, which wasn't our fault, we paid €12 for "one item" only to receive something else entirely. We reported the issue, but the manager refused to do anything because it would mean "a loss" for them. Oh yes... it's true, it's not a loss for us either... We requested a complaint form, and €12 is no small sum these days, only to be told: "You should look it up on Google," or, I quote, "on chatgpt." I think they need to review the basics of customer training. Awaiting a response from a manager worthy of the name or from the quality department.

03/06/2026: I have rarely seen such a lack of business acumen. The welcome was cold, there was no listening, no desire to help or advise. It felt more like dealing with someone trying to close a sale at all costs than someone trying to satisfy a customer. Kindness and professionalism seemed to have been completely forgotten. A particularly unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
