07/09/2026: Excellent homemade crepes!!! Very warm welcome despite our slightly late arrival.

01/09/2026: The reviews and recommendation from our rental owner had led me to Youenn's without hesitation. Unfortunately, I left feeling somewhat disappointed. Upon arrival, the waiter asked if we had a reservation. I told him no—for once, I'd forgotten! I simply asked if the restaurant was full. I never got an answer to that question: without even looking at me, he immediately asked what I wanted to order. I therefore assumed there was still space available. Looking at the menu, I then asked him a simple question about the samosas, which were offered daily: "What's in them?" He flipped through a notepad, then started searching in the trash. I thought he was looking for the information... but he finally came back to me with another "What will you have?" We ended up ordering salmon cakes, because we were hungry and, more importantly, because we felt like we weren't going to get any answers to our questions. The galette was thankfully very good, made with quality fresh ingredients and homemade. It's a real shame that the welcome and atmosphere didn't entice us to stay and try the desserts.

09/08/2026: A wonderful experience this Sunday lunchtime with fresh, well-prepared food. €34 for the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert). The service was professional and incredible; instead of asking "Have you decided?", they asked something more along the lines of "Ladies and gentlemen, what would you like?" It's a small thing, but it's truly first-class service. Kudos to the waitress and the chef.

08/09/2026: What a joy it is to return to L'Amphore every time. The owners are delightful, and their food is excellent. New flavors are always on offer each week, and the reaction is always the same with the first bite: eyes wide with wonder at how delicious and flavorful it is. From the appetizers to the desserts, including the bread and the little biscuits that accompany your coffee, everything is homemade, prepared with care and care. A real treat! We will definitely return, always with the same pleasure.

06/09/2026: Charming staff make all the difference, and on top of that, the food is delicious and plentiful! I recommend the grilled sea bass Provençal style and the excellent tuna tartare. We were treated like royalty at a late hour, out of season, and without rushing us at the end of his shift, our waiter was incredibly attentive throughout. A big thank you!

26/07/2026: A small, hidden gem of a restaurant in the heart of Évreux. The atmosphere is calm, the food is delicious, and the menu is varied. The fries are particularly tasty, and the molten chocolate cake is a real treat. The servers are attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

19/08/2026: Excellent restaurant. The €39 Corsican menu is very generous: I highly recommend it. All the meat dishes are very good, but I have a particular fondness for the ribeye steak, which is remarkably tender and flavorful. The zucchini fritters are also highly recommended (contrary to some reviews we saw). The desserts were even better than we expected and were only surpassed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.

11/07/2026: What a pleasure it was to visit this fouée restaurant run by a very kind young couple. The welcome was perfect. They offer high-quality, locally sourced products. The menu is excellent value for money, as everything is included, from a glass of Cabernet d'Anjou as an aperitif to coffee. And above all, you won't leave hungry because the portions are generous. If you love fouées or want to discover them, this is the place to go.

Bacchus, who serves, and his wife, who's in the kitchen, welcome you like family. The dishes are fresh and all homemade. I highly recommend this excellent Lebanese restaurant.

03/11/2025: Unexpected quaint beach Cafe in a tiny village where our boat was met at the beach by a dozen wandering cows. The menu is very, very limited - but the food is excellent and the service is friendly. A must-visit for Girolata!

13/07/2026: Saturday night's meal at Maison Vernet was a truly wonderful surprise. Nicolas, the owner, is fantastic and very welcoming. The meal was superb: the meat was absolutely delicious and the cheese platter exceptional. Only fresh, local products were used, and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. To top it all off, the view was magnificent. Highly recommended.

11/07/2026: Our room was the last one available. We might have worried it would be the least pleasant. And we would have been wrong. It was spotless and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast, both generous and delicious, only confirmed what we felt upon arrival. We were in a quality establishment in the heart of a magnificent landscape.
