02/10/2026: A truly excellent place. I was a little worried when I saw the menu. But wow, the portions are generous, the food is fresh, and the value for money is excellent. This address is definitely saved in my address book.

28/09/2026: I used to love this restaurant, both for the delicious food and the service and great atmosphere. Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, only the food has remained consistent. They at least had the good sense to keep the same chef... however, the service is nowhere near the same standard. Forget about getting a smile or any advice. On Friday evening, at least four tables were full, and for at least 10 minutes, not a single server offered to serve us or even asked about desserts. At least three tables had to go and get the dessert menus or a carafe of water themselves... what a shame. Let's hope they turn things around quickly, but unfortunately, this is the third time with this team... I think we'll be going less and less often.

17/10/2026: We had a lovely time this Saturday at Coeur des Lacs, a very welcoming restaurant with friendly, smiling, and professional staff. They offer several set menus with good value for money, and a wide selection of starters, main courses, cheeses, and desserts. The dishes are generous and beautifully presented. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

25/08/2026: We had dinner at Lakota restaurant on a Saturday evening in August. The welcome was perfect, the service excellent, the food pleasant, and the presentation of the dishes was superb despite a limited menu. My only complaint is that I ordered a Perrier with mint, and the small amount of syrup was charged at €1.00. Okay, I'm not one to quibble over a euro, but I have to admit that's excessive.

30/09/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance during a business trip, and what a delightful surprise! It feels like time has stood still here: the restaurant has retained its original charm, but that's precisely what makes it so appealing. The staff are incredibly kind, always smiling, polite, and genuinely friendly. And the food is just as good! The chicken with Comté sauce and homemade dauphinoise potatoes was simply excellent. It was a generous portion, very well prepared, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This unique place is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!

26/10/2026: A wonderful discovery at Grain de Sel in La Roque-d'Anthéron! Refined, generous, and flavorful cuisine, prepared with high-quality ingredients. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere pleasant. Each dish is carefully prepared and beautifully presented. An excellent experience from start to finish. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

18/10/2026: Top-notch restaurant! The pizza is amazing, the service perfect. The Grain de Sel (a type of salt) is excellent too. I highly recommend it, except for the opening hours! Closed Sunday evenings.

10/10/2026: Overrated restaurant. We barely touched the main course and when asked if everything was OK and answered no, the waiter just ignore and came with the machine to charge. Expecting a better care about the experience and the quality of the food in a restaurant claiming itself “haute cuisine” and having insects on it. Edited to a 1 after reading the response of the restaurant, hilarious!

21/08/2026: Everything was delicious! The decor is fantastic, the servers are very welcoming and attentive, and the service is quick and efficient. Everything was perfect for a wonderful experience. A truly great find; we'll definitely make the trip from Narbonne again!

21/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome and ordered four pizzas, which were delicious. However, we were bothered throughout the meal by cigarette smoke from the people sitting at the next table. Despite our attempts to explain that it was bothering us (I have asthma), they continued unabated, lighting cigarette after cigarette throughout the evening, with the smoke blowing directly in our direction. It was unbearable, especially since the canvas roof provided no ventilation. By the end of the meal, I had to put on my mask because the smoke was so thick I couldn't breathe. This is how a lack of respect and courtesy can ruin a meal. We will not be returning.

24/09/2026: Why two stars for service when the staff was perfectly adequate? Because the waitress only showed us the engraved board with the €45 set menu and the à la carte menu, while there was a chalkboard with a much cheaper option (which was clearly a hit with the regulars around us). We were just passing through... So we opted for the €45 set menu, which boasted homemade cuisine with local produce, etc. We figured that since we were paying a lot, we were going to enjoy a delicious meal. Big mistake! The chef must have been having some issues that day (or I beg you, change chefs if you insist on offering €45 set menus) because for me, absolutely nothing was good. The burrata and tomato salad wasn't seasoned; I had to ask for salt and pepper to get any flavor at all. The pork was inedible, so dry, and the ratatouille was so bland you'd have to be absolutely starving to eat it—I left a good half of my plate. I ordered sorbet for dessert, thinking that at least... I got two measly scoops, and it wasn't the kind of ice cream you actually enjoy. The industrial whipped cream on top was also unpleasant. In short, a disaster. We were furious that we'd paid 45 euros for this. I mentioned it to the waitress, who said she'd inform the chef. But the chef didn't bother to do anything about it. My partner enjoyed his dessert, but otherwise, he was just as furious. Paying 100 euros for this? No way! I don't like giving negative reviews, but this was simply unacceptable. So, if they only offer you the €45 menu (or the à la carte menu but not the daily specials board), run away!
