Over-fried French fries that lost the bite. Expensive everything including the glass of so so Chablis. The people at the table next to mine also complained about their food. Great location across from Le Bon Marche. There are better choices in the area.

15/05/2026: The hotel is well-located but too outdated. It's a good place to stay while visiting the zoo. It's hard to see why it's a three-star hotel. The room wasn't clean, with numerous cobwebs everywhere. However, the staff is very friendly. I wouldn't particularly recommend this establishment.

22/08/2026: Tasteless apple crumble, an apple tartlet with four thin slices of apple and no compote to complete the pastry, and just hard pastry for this cake and the others! The Tropezienne tart was far too dry. First and last time you'll see me! I strongly advise against it!!!

But when I see that on a Sunday at 9:30 a.m. there are no croissants and the stoic waitress simply replies, "No, we don't have any"... You should find another line of work...

22/08/2026: We ordered a birthday cake for our daughter. A raspberry macaron. I reserved it by phone and there were no problems picking it up, contrary to many reviews. The saleswoman was welcoming and very kind. We also tried the bread, the chorizo ​​baguette, and a second time we had an afternoon snack. Special mention for the pavlova, which was incredibly delicious! I recommend this bakery.

17/08/2026: The location is idyllic, but the rusty, ultra-slippery, super-narrow staircase that barely holds you upright to get down into the water is simply unacceptable. A word of advice: take out good life insurance before attempting it.

Aux Éphérites was long among the top 10 restaurants in Lille: a great selection of wines, bold and original cuisine... But unfortunately, that was then... There's practically nothing on the menu, the food is bland, and the service is awkward... The owner did offer us drinks, admittedly on his own initiative, but it's not the same at all. We were a bit disappointed because we were used to the previous version, and it's clear that the place is no longer worth the trip.
