05/09/2026: The hygiene level is beyond alarming... Very dirty, bloodstains that haven't been cleaned in 3 months, everything is greasy and sticky to the touch, the tables are disgusting.

25/08/2026: Half the self-service kiosks have been out of order for months. Today, only one kiosk is working, there's a 15-minute wait to order, and no one is taking orders at the counter. What are we supposed to do, wait for the last kiosk to break down and then close down?

10/09/2026: The ice cream is average, but it's definitely not as cold as the waitresses. Avoid it; there are other ice cream shops right next door.

07/06/2026: I want to share my extremely disappointing experience at this club. The manager was particularly disrespectful, treating us with contempt and refusing us entry under the pretext that only regulars were welcome. I strongly advise against this place, which seems closed off and elitist, and where respect for customers leaves much to be desired.

31/05/2026: Just a heads-up not to book through the Google search results, as the restaurant isn't aware of them. Having traveled a long way, we were turned away by the owner this Sunday, who claimed the establishment was at the mercy of Google, that other potential customers were in the same unpleasant situation, and that she had no control over the listing.

05/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at L'Auberge de l'Abbaye this Easter Sunday. The traditional cuisine was delicious and the menu reasonably priced, all in a very pleasant setting. The welcome was warm and friendly. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. We will gladly return!

18/08/2026: As indicated at the entrance (small sign), the owner lives with her cats 🐱 Warning!! The stench inside is unbearable, and going to the toilet requires holding your breath 😱 You'd have to be Jacques Mayoll to endure it. All joking aside, THE SMELL IS UNBEARABLE!! 🤮🤮 Despite everything, the owner is friendly and the terrace is pleasant.

15/08/2026: I ordered a Red Bull, it arrived warm, so I asked if they had a cold one! Yes, but she just threw it in a tub of ice, and it burst! 🤡 The head waitress wasn't very pleasant, insisted we pay the full amount and wouldn't even split it in half (there were 10 of us, we weren't going to ask to each pay our share). We hadn't even finished drinking before she took away our empty glasses without a "please." In short, very mediocre, and the head waitress didn't even smile. The other people were much nicer.

29/07/2026: Honestly, skip this place, don't go to this McDonald's. To think we were hesitating between this and Burger King, what a mistake! A 40-minute wait in total, at 11 PM, is outrageous for two sandwiches. And on top of that, I had to ask for beef four times; they barely listened. I checked, and they gave me a chicken sandwich. I asked to change it, waited another 10 minutes, and finally, when I got home, I was left with a chicken sandwich. It's really unfair. And to top it off, they forgot my drink. Terrible customer service, unpleasant to customers, and above all, they don't listen at all. I won't be back, and I don't recommend it.

29/07/2026: The longest drive-through in France: 10 minutes to place an order and 27 minutes to pick it up, and there were only 5 cars. I asked for an explanation, but even the employee seemed embarrassed.

27/02/2026: I wish I'd read the reviews before going in. I never throw away food, but there were a couple of dishes we couldn't eat. Also, the staff is very unfriendly and the food is overpriced.

18/08/2026: Critical Review I came to this establishment this morning simply to have a drink, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I had to wait almost 30 minutes before anyone bothered to take my order. For an establishment that serves the public, this delay seems particularly excessive, especially for such a simple order. Beyond the wait time, it's the lack of attention paid to the customer that is most regrettable. A wait can be understandable during busy periods, but it's essential that the wait be explained or that the staff show a minimum of consideration. This first impression is therefore very disappointing. Service is an essential part of the experience in a café or bar, and unfortunately, it was not up to par today. I hope this establishment will take this type of feedback into account in order to improve the quality of its welcome and service.

16/08/2026: One bowl of Cantonese rice in the evening, and a nasty stomach bug the next morning!

23/07/2026: I bought a sandwich with two ground beef patties and cheese, but I was served three slices of crustless white bread with tasteless, sickeningly sweet meat and cheese that wasn't even melted. It looked nothing like the picture of the sandwich I'd seen on the menu. I couldn't even finish it. Don't go there; it's a waste of money and you risk getting food poisoning.

10/06/2026: Honestly, I've never seen anything so disgusting and inedible. A wrap isn't that complicated to make. How is it possible to keep a snack bar open with such poor quality? I found pieces of wood in the sandwich, the kebab meat was full of grease, the fries were bad, and even the raw vegetables were inedible. The dough was thick, hard, and dry. On top of that, I had to wait 45 minutes even though there was only one other customer. Frankly, I understand better now why there's nobody here and why the prices are so low. First and last time for me. Don't trust the reviews at all!!!!

29/09/2026: A disappointing experience considering the bill (€46 for a flank steak with shallots, duck confit, a Coke, and a glass of wine served in a champagne flute). The flank steak wasn't bad, but the plate was literally swimming in oil. As for the service, the results were mixed. While the second waiter was more friendly and finally brought my coffee after 20 to 25 minutes, the first was very cold and seemed completely indifferent when we pointed out the oversight. Yet, there were barely six tables open at lunchtime. It's a real shame because the restaurant is very well located and has potential, but the food preparation and service organization need improvement.

11/01/2026: Setting and atmosphere: The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere, which is appreciated, especially in the context of a team meal after a team-building activity. Organization and availability of dishes: We had booked in advance for a group, yet some dishes were already unavailable when we ordered (notably the flank steak, of which only two portions remained). This is regrettable given the reservation and the number of guests. Quality and hygiene: While my dish (a flank steak) was acceptable in terms of taste, several colleagues encountered problems: – hairs in one dish, which is unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint, – one of them received a dish that was lukewarm or even cold, – some drinks were out of stock, such as the beer requested by a colleague. Value for money: Considering these factors (uneven quality, hygiene issues, stock shortages), we found the value for money insufficient. The prices seem high compared to the service offered. Conclusion: Overall a disappointing experience despite a pleasant setting. The restaurant would benefit from improving its organization, inventory management, and especially quality control in the kitchen before justifying such prices.

13/12/2025: A disappointing culinary experience. The dishes were tasteless and bland. There was even a pen cap in the green salad... Dishes were missing after orders were taken, and they had nothing else to offer... Not enough fries for the table, so they served pasta instead without asking if it was okay. Avoid this restaurant; the waiter and owner drink more than the customers... The bill is very expensive for what you get, when it's even edible.

05/07/2026: We got the Thai chicken with rice and mushrooms to go (delicious!). The beef samosas and the "Pate" are definitely worth trying!

02/05/2026: One of the few places in the neighborhood where you can eat and relax for under €15. Clearly, your feedback has paid off. The quality has definitely improved. I've been there about twenty times and I can say that the food is decent. Good pho, generous portions, reasonably priced, and made to order. The bobun with a drink for €12 is alright. Another plus: open all day.

16/09/2026: We stopped in Saint-Jean-de-Luz for lunch and didn't look around much. We went into this restaurant, two adults and two children. We ordered water, a small beer, and a Coke. They replaced the flat Coke with the exact same one. We saw them pour it from a large bottle. We ordered the children's set menus. One was ham with white spaghetti, and the other was mussels marinara with the same pasta. The set menu was €21.50. The chicken salad was tiny, and the main course was mashed potatoes with cod. They brought me a chicken leg as a starter, which wasn't what I had ordered. And a plate of grilled baby squid—frozen and small. Awful! I would never go back! And the bill was almost €80. They took forever to bring the food.

16/09/2026: I recommend this establishment; we weren't disappointed. The waitress was professional, smiling, and pleasant. They offered suggestions every day.
