24/08/2026: Absolutely HORRIBLE SALESPERSON!!!!! The bread was mediocre, the selection poor, the pastries not great, and the staff didn't listen. I'm giving it one star because it's the bare minimum. The staff was unpleasant: I was greeted extremely rudely by the saleswoman who doesn't really understand French… A tiny sandwich. Cheap, cheap, cheap chicken mayo: factory-farmed chicken, disgusting slices, mayonnaise that made me want to vomit… Mouse droppings in the bread… Exorbitant prices. I bought several items, including a sandwich. When I asked her for a bag (so I wouldn't get it dirty), the saleswoman showed me a sign stating that bags were only 10 cm long!!!!!! Unheard of, I practically felt like I was bothering her. We used to queue outside at the old bakery; now it's deserted. What more can I say? Oh, it's AWFUL! Very bad indeed. Poor quality bread. The worst in the neighborhood. Just look at the sandwich.

17/09/2026: Forced to give one star against my will just to be able to leave a review! Avoid at all costs: questionable food, items on the menu that are ultimately out of stock, disgusting restrooms, and a school cafeteria atmosphere. Come to their rescue, Philippe Etchebest!

17/09/2026: The welcome was a disaster, downright creepy! A man in his forties or fifties shuffled in, didn't even say hello, and gave us a strange look, as if we were bothering him. He clearly wasn't a fan of tourists! We asked him for a drinks menu, and he shuffled off again. It was obvious he didn't want to go get it! He should just leave some on the tables if he was so lazy! We wanted to leave because the atmosphere was so bizarre, but we just hurried to finish our drinks because we're not impolite! When it came time to pay, we wanted to use a card, but he didn't have a machine and rudely told us, "You'll have to go to the bar!" And it wasn't any better there. The guy at the counter, who wasn't friendly either, and the waiter made fun of the person I was with, mumbling something or other—insults, I think, because I saw it happened to another customer. He must have been too tired to take the payment! We'll never set foot in there again! I can't give it a zero, otherwise that would be my rating!

25/08/2026: Well, what a horrible evening... How sad... As a big fan of electronic music, I've never come home so early from a party, I won't be setting foot in here again :)

05/09/2026: I recently moved to Aix-les-Bains for work. I didn't know the city yet and wanted to go out in the evenings, so this place was one of my first suggestions. I searched on Google. I looked at some photos and the atmosphere seemed nice. I went there for the first time, and at the entrance, the bouncer wouldn't let me in because, and I quote, "it won't be possible since I don't know you," even though I was sober and well-dressed. I asked him how I was supposed to get in in the coming days if I didn't know you, and he told me that wouldn't be possible either. I'm very disappointed, as I was really looking forward to enjoying myself. I hope that after this review, things will be different the next time I go there. Thank you.

03/09/2026: Great restaurant 👍🏻. The scallop risotto was excellent, and the large high table was perfect for chatting with our guests. Great find 👍🏻

08/09/2026: DONT GO! Rude, Angry stuff, food named Salmon Steak was almost 50 Grams, Cezar was with burnt chicken, The waiter was singing rudely, Pizza topping was unattached, very angry.

05/09/2026: I ordered two pasta dishes and a steak all came out freshly microwaved I had to send my steak back twice because they overcooked it and on the third time it was still mooing. The taste was terrible and the owner was rude for this order. We paid €80 and a total of 3 bites really would not recommend waste of time and money

06/09/2026: The pizza was sparsely topped for the price; it's not what it used to be. Was the dough frozen??? I ordered a pizza with gizzards and ended up with ham instead 😱. Was there a problem with the ingredients???

15/08/2026: The pizzas are good and generously sized. The dough could be improved, but we thoroughly enjoyed them. The service is friendly and the lady is smiling.

07/07/2026: I ordered a pizza from this establishment in Saint-Ouen and was very disappointed with my experience. The pizza was truly awful: the chicken wasn't cooked enough and it had ketchup on it, even though I never asked for it. The quality of the preparation was frankly disappointing. After delivery, I called the establishment to report the problem. The person who answered the phone didn't speak French, only English. She didn't even try to understand my situation or put me in touch with a colleague. On the contrary, she hung up on me while I was trying to explain the problem. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I couldn't remain silent. They really need to improve the quality of their pizzas and their customer service, because this experience was extremely disappointing.

26/06/2026: First Pizza Hut order: they dropped the salt shaker and oil bottle on the pizza. Straight to the bin, it's inedible. Yuck!

17/01/2026: I ordered cooked tuna and avocado maki yesterday, and I noticed a strange smell. At first, I thought I was imagining things, but I wasn't at all! I took the maki in my mouth, started chewing, and tasted a disgusting, rotten flavor. I spat it all out and almost threw up! The tuna wasn't fresh; it was expired. It's shameful! Six years later, I ordered from them again, not realizing it was them because I'd forgotten about them after six years. Anyway, I only ordered a dessert and two bottles of water, and they somehow managed to forget the water bottles and only included the dessert, which I haven't even tasted yet! In short, I wanted to leave them a bad review regarding the water, and imagine my surprise when I discovered I'd already left them that same bad review six years ago! I even remembered the scene where I was complaining about the maki rolls! It's clear that after six years, they haven't improved at all. I don't even understand how they managed to survive COVID; they're so bad!

20/06/2026: Our family walked in and the woman just rolled her eyes at us. My husband asked if they were closed, and then came lots of groans more eye rolling and moaning we walked on her floor she just cleaned, and they only have a minute before they close. So we walked away and got some sandwiches from starbucks instead, 5 mins later i see a young couple walk in and go straight to the tills and be served! I then walked over and asked why she was reluctant to serve my family, but 5 minutes later can serve someone else, and she suddenly couldnt understand english. The woman had an awful attitude, and looks like im not the only person to notice. AVOID!

04/06/2026: Honestly where to start the girl who served us had an attitude and then proceeded to make our burger without washing her hands and touching everything first and her college who was cleaning and had dirt and harsh chemicals on her hands came over and touched our cheese so we asked the burgers to be made fresh and for the one who was serving us to clean her hands first and she had a problem with it then proceeded to give us very old stale fries as soon as my partner went back over the girls where clearly speaking about him and rolling there eyes the young lad who was working the fryers named jeremy he was really nice and instantly solved the problem and give us and extra portion of fries if it wasn’t for him it would be a half star and worse review the manager came out and served food to another guest and was pulling funny faces at the food before bagging and serving to the customer best advice after seeing all other reviews aswell if you see Jeremy ask for him he seems the only nice one here

13/08/2026: I am writing specifically to the male waiter who was working at your restaurant this Tuesday around noon. His behavior towards customers is simply unacceptable: allowing himself to be aggressive, even insulting, and even physically threatening customers is completely unacceptable. If his job is such a burden for him, he should leave his bad mood at the door instead of taking it out on the customers. A minimum of respect and professionalism would be the very least he could do.

30/05/2026: I really enjoyed my meal at Sushi Sun: the sushi was good and the price very affordable. It's excellent value for money for an inexpensive and delicious meal. I recommend it!

25/07/2026: As a loyal customer for six years, I am disappointed with the quality of service. Buying a few pastries requires a 15-minute wait. Between the organizational issues and the staffing levels, which also appear to be understaffed at the checkout, I now prefer to go elsewhere, even if it means making a detour.

15/05/2026: We like this bakery, but the atmosphere is far from welcoming. We wanted brownies, but the product label wasn't even there. The server took the order labeled "moist hazelnut and fudgy," and we told her we wanted brownies. She replied that they were brownies, and we told her no, because the labels said something else. Her colleague, who was cleaning, loudly and without any shame, told us, "It's obvious it's a brownie and not a fudgy cake." They should label their products better. Also, Marie Blachère uses three different baking methods for their bread, and that's not indicated either. They were cleaning up to finish on time while people were waiting in line. We arrived at 7:00 PM. Instead of apologizing and admitting they were wrong, they blamed the customer for not recognizing the product.

28/11/2025: As a matter of principle, I don't give a negative review because I ate there for decades. I ordered four servings of sweet and sour sauce; just by looking at the color, you could tell it wasn't the same batch. Some of the sauce had simply fermented... a strong, overpowering taste of alcohol, so that plate went straight in the bin. The rice was rock hard, almost raw... After the sauce, I wondered how old it was... It's crazy to take over such a Thionville institution and ruin it like this. Judging by the other reviews, it's far from an isolated case.
