15/03/2026: Really disappointed 😔 It's completely changed, even though I've been a customer for years. You come to have a good time, dancing with friends. And then you get kicked out like dirt because of the people causing trouble. It's nothing like the old Ambassade. I don't recommend it!

11/09/2026: I called at 9:30 PM to order a pizza, and I got a rather unfriendly young man who made it clear that it was too late to order a pizza because he was cleaning and they closed at 10 PM… If it's not possible to order a pizza before 10 PM, it's illogical to set that closing time because you can't order! And it would save people from making a wasted trip and, above all, from being treated badly.

05/09/2026: The pizza was too thin, with no toppings. They advertised it as a large pizza, but it was small. I'll never buy from that kiosk in Puiseaux again. I don't recommend it.

30/05/2026: Unpleasant manager, €20 worth of scratch cards + 2 Amigos and 2 cans of beer. We sat down for 2 minutes, the Amigos weren't even finished, and we were kicked out. The reason? The can was "to go." There are other ways to say it. I understand why there's nobody in the middle of Calais North; the tobacconist is much better.

01/09/2026: Bakery in name only, frozen pastries, try to at least offer some quality for the price you charge.

30/08/2026: I'd checked the Google reviews, but I figured I should form my own opinion... I bought two pain au chocolat and two croissants, and it's consistent with the other reviews: disgusting. Completely industrial, like almost all bakeries, but nowhere near as good as the others—you really have to be trying!

05/09/2026: I was at your McDonald's today, September 5th, around 8 PM. It was a disaster! The employees weren't wearing safety shoes, not even the one serving, nor the other young guy making the fries. There were fries in the kitchen that he didn't clean up, and they were laughing amongst themselves during service. This McDonald's is a complete mess.

20/09/2026: A very disappointing experience overall. The products were decent, and the portions were more generous than the customer wanted. Let's be honest, the quality wasn't exceptional and certainly didn't justify the business practices we observed. Many reviews echoed this sentiment; why didn't you check Google before going? During our visit, the prices seemed to fluctuate in a particularly opaque way. We really felt like they were charging arbitrarily, without any clear explanation or sufficient transparency. The person behind the counter, seemingly very friendly and always smiling, also pressured us to order more with barely concealed insistence. Everything was done politely, but with this rather unpleasant attitude of assuming the customer wouldn't notice the upsell or the price inconsistencies. A smile isn't enough to make the process acceptable. You end up feeling more manipulated than advised, which completely ruins the experience. When prices aren't perfectly clear and every interaction seems designed to increase the order, trust disappears. It's good, but nothing memorable, and certainly not good enough to justify this lack of transparency. The neighborhood has enough good Japanese restaurants that we don't need to put up with this kind of practice. As for us, we won't be going back. Go somewhere else.

23/08/2026: After visiting this beautiful Provençal market, my friends and I sat down for a drink. We went to the restroom, and it was absolutely horrific. Traces of old urine everywhere, filth, and cobwebs. The smell was awful; we had to cover our noses with tissues to avoid breathing it in. This doesn't bode well for the kitchen, which, by the way, looks very cluttered. The owner came out of the restroom without washing his hands and went behind the bar to serve customers, so he was handling the glasses quite a bit... I don't understand why, with all the similar complaints, he hasn't done anything about it.

23/08/2026: We were just stopping by with friends before heading to the Verdon Gorge. We won't be back. The café terrace was dirty, the tables weren't swept, and most importantly, never use their toilets. The place is filthy with a terrible smell. We'll go to a different café next time we're in the area.

17/01/2026: It was to be expected, this restaurant is so dirty. Their children climb on the ice cream tub with their shoes on, take the candy with their hands, and put it back in. This restaurant is unacceptable. The toilets are disgusting. It's no wonder it's closed now. I spoke to the owner about it, and he just laughed; he didn't care at all.

30/09/2026: Appalling service. The person was disrespectful, with a borderline racist attitude. He "has nothing left to prove," as he put it… I came to look at the reviews out of curiosity after my visit to this "tea room," and what do I see? Full of negative reviews. It doesn't surprise me: if you don't like working in retail, you should change careers, sir.

07/09/2026: Beautiful shop, beautiful presentation. It's all about the presentation. It's just missing a baker; a traditional baguette bought in the evening seemed to be from the day before, and the shopkeeper advised against eating it the next day. I also ordered a dessert consisting of a pear wrapped in pastry. I wasn't familiar with it; perhaps it's the correct recipe, but it really wasn't worth it.

12/08/2026: Thank you for organizing a tea party for my mother's funeral. Your kindness was matched only by the quality of your products. You delighted everyone with your delicious madeleines and exceptional pithiviers. The Liège chocolate was magnificent. You truly softened this sad moment for us, and we will cherish the memory. 26/09/2026: As a customer since it opened in 2014, I've witnessed the (slow but noticeable) decline of the restaurant. The first thing that strikes you is the filth: dirty toilets, sinks overflowing with paper, urinals frequently out of order, and tray waste bins always clogged and rarely emptied... resulting in mountains of trash. I went on Sunday, July 6th at 7:45 PM for a simple Smart Meal, and 30 minutes later, my order still hadn't arrived (yes, this is a fast-food restaurant, a far cry from the chain's promised 3-minute wait). Consequently, I had to cancel my order because I was going to miss my movie. And what about the deteriorating staff? Some are incredibly rude to customers, laughing amongst themselves instead of working, while others are overworked. The manager should definitely take some customer service training. I imagine opening the restaurant at 9:31 PM to pick up an online order is pure torture. A complete disaster, but hopefully there will be a radical change for customers.

19/09/2026: Maximum wait time, employees completely out of it, no smiles, no friendliness, no courtesy. They didn't seem to care even though many customers were waiting. They didn't even ask why so many people were waiting. The worst part is that it wasn't even rush hour. A very bad experience.

30/06/2026: It's barely 9:00 AM, and I've come to pick up three packs of pastries for €6 each. There's nothing left on the shelves... I'm asked to wait 14 minutes. I come back, and... no more bread... another 8-minute wait... unfriendly staff... I don't recommend this place... it's a shame! What time are we supposed to go?

14/08/2026: Of course, there are better places to go out for dinner. To be honest, after a day of driving and 38 degrees outside and not making a fuss, this was really quite doable. Yes, it's a shame the food gets reheated when you eat there, but you do that with takeaway too. Noodles and rice were fine. Shrimp, chicken skewers, gyoza, tempura, and spring rolls as extras weren't bad at all; yes, you naturally prefer them crunchy and all, but for a quick bite, this was just as good as McDonald's. The staff was also very friendly and didn't make a fuss about portion sizes. There was plenty for the four of us for 50 euros. The atmosphere at that place could be better, and they need to fix the air conditioning, because at 38 degrees, that is definitely needed.
