25/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic, a really great restaurant!

23/07/2026: A wonderful experience and definitely a place I would happily return to. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Beef Bourguignon and sea bass with ratatouille – both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of flavour. We also enjoyed very good wine and an excellent dessert. A special mention has to go to the service – incredibly friendly, professional and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great food, good wine, a lovely atmosphere and outstanding service. I highly recommend La Forge and will definitely be back!

29/07/2026: We ate there evening of Monday 27th July, group of 6 with our dog. We were inside and very warmly welcomed (including doggo). Food was excellent the duck parmentier being the favourite! It's very reasonable, great food attentive service... great to be on the terrace if possible. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

28/07/2026: A very good restaurant, found by chance on Google. You can tell there's real care behind every dish. The service was excellent, a warm welcome, smiles, and politeness—essential qualities. My only slight criticism is that I find the appetizers and desserts a little too expensive.

18/08/2026: Magnificent! The beef fillet with snails in parsley sauce was a delight! The filet mignon was a treat. And finally, the Mont Blanc... Friendly service.

16/08/2026: While on holiday in Valence, we discovered Alix Coffee for breakfast, a wonderful find! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hot chocolates and pastries were delicious. We loved it so much that we went back several times for breakfast. We'll gladly return. Highly recommended. The Bretons.

13/08/2026: 1 star for the friendliness and coziness. The paninis were cold and not tasty. We only ate it because we were so hungry. The veggie sandwich had no taste except for the unnecessarily thick peppercorns which were not good. Not worth the price. The meat was dry and not tasty. We have a hangover and now feel even worse. 30 euros down the drain. They were very sweet and reheated our panini but the damage was already done, it remained unsavory.

08/08/2026: Discovered thanks to Google. This is a great place we'll definitely keep in mind because everything is delicious, from the bread to the dessert, and above all, homemade. The service was very pleasant and attentive (especially from the very young woman who's taking over) – well done! The garden terrace was the perfect setting for a summer lunch.

04/08/2026: Finally, a restaurant in Mimizan that truly stands out! Here, there's no mass-produced food or fast food disguised as a restaurant: everything is homemade, generous, family-style, and prepared with passion. The portions are substantial, and the chef himself serves and chats with his customers, adding a real touch of conviviality. A big thank you also to the owner, who welcomes and serves with such kindness, good humor, and a smile that you'll want to come back. An authentic place that truly makes a difference, and one I recommend without hesitation!

02/09/2026: Craving ice cream after leaving Ceteste, we stumbled upon this place: Biscuit Street. And there we enjoyed some of the best ice cream ever. A very warm welcome, impeccable service, and very competitive prices. They have several varieties of cookies and other treats. It's fantastic. Don't miss it if you're ever in the area.
