19/07/2026: We had dinner as a family at La Papillote and had a wonderful time. Just so you know: at lunchtime, the restaurant offers traditional cuisine, while in the evening it operates solely as a pizzeria. The welcome was very warm. A young waiter immediately put us at ease with his cheerful disposition and a few jokes, creating a very friendly atmosphere. All the pizzas we ordered were delicious, with a good choice of sizes: a child's size for smaller appetites or an adult size for those with a bigger appetite. This was a thoughtful touch. An added bonus: there's a parking lot right in front of the restaurant, which makes parking incredibly easy. A great place that I'm happy to recommend!

11/08/2026: We tried an afternoon snack (ice cream) which was fantastic, then we came back one evening for dinner! With a mountain view, the waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming! It was lovely to be treated like that, and the Savoyard fondue for two was delicious. Please note that in Les Orres, the restaurant is advertised as accepting holiday vouchers, but they don't. This doesn't detract from the quality of the restaurant at all, it's just a matter of planning ahead! You can go there without hesitation, but remember to book in advance.

09/08/2026: The dish was very good, but unfortunately quite expensive considering the portion size. The wait was also a bit long given the few customers. On the other hand, the setting and scenery are truly beautiful.

08/07/2026: It's been almost a year since we discovered Osaka Royal and we're still just as satisfied. It's an excellent Japanese restaurant with very good value for money.

Plus, I think the team understood that we didn't necessarily want to linger... and we were served quickly! We're adding this address to our travel journal. In short, if you're looking for a place to eat well... go for it!!!

14/08/2026: A small, family-run restaurant. I highly recommend it, whether for the quality of the food, the service, or the prices. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about… Authentic mussels and fries, local mussels, homemade fries, and homemade desserts. Jérôme's welcome and service were incredible; the restaurant has such a warm atmosphere that I'll definitely be back when the food is so good! The terrace is right next to the road, but Jérôme and his wife have cleverly arranged it so you don't feel like you're right next to the road, and they've succeeded. In short, very welcoming, the manager is incredibly kind, and even the other customers are friendly! The value for money is also perfect. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

31/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Auberge des Matfeux. It had been a few years since our last visit. The quality of the ingredients, the impeccable service, and the wine list are still top-notch. However, and I know this is certainly not the restaurant's philosophy, I would have liked a few more surprises and to be challenged a bit more by the chef's cuisine. While the flavors are well-balanced, I didn't find any bold or impactful tastes. I think I might not be the target audience, but I appreciate it when food evokes a bit more emotion.
