Drinks were cold which was fabulous! The situation in the square is lovely though. It’s a good stop off in Ruffec.

22/08/2026: We came this evening with my two daughters and my partner, and we had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional; I've rarely eaten such good meat (beef fillet) cooked to perfection. The chef is a master; it's so rare these days to find such good food. The waiters and waitresses were exceptionally kind and attentive. A special mention goes to the manager who encourages young staff by giving them a chance; the apprentice was very smiley and very kind. We're not from the area, but one thing is for sure: we'll be back! Fast service, excellent food, super friendly staff—everything was great. See you very soon! And thank you! 😁

01/08/2026: Avoid at all costs. We had already had lunch a little further down the street and were about to leave when our child urgently needed to use the restroom. My husband went into the establishment and very politely asked an employee if our child could use the restroom. He received a positive response. So we went upstairs. As we had several hours of driving ahead of us, I decided our second child would also go to the restroom. A few seconds later, an older man, who seemed to be the manager, came running up and started yelling at us, repeatedly saying that "this isn't a public restroom" and that "we're in Versailles." If you don't want people using your restroom, simply say "no" from the start. That's your right. However, giving permission, letting a family with two young children in, and then going upstairs to shout at them is simply unacceptable. We travel a lot, and this was the first time in France that we were treated with such disrespect. Even hotels near the Eiffel Tower, where we weren't guests, welcomed us kindly in a similar situation. The memory we'll retain of this establishment isn't its food or service, but the image of a manager yelling at a family with children for a basic bodily emergency. This lack of humanity and professionalism is unworthy of an establishment open to the public. And invoking "Versailles" to justify such behavior is, in my opinion, particularly inappropriate. Versailles evokes elegance, culture, and the art of hospitality, certainly not yelling at a family with young children who had been allowed to use the restroom. Such an attitude does no credit to the image of Versailles. We will never set foot in this place again and will not recommend it to anyone. *Response to the administration's response in pictures ____

02/09/2026: Probably the best bakery in town. A true neighborhood institution. A wide selection and quality products. A dynamic and professional team despite the regularly enormous queues outside the shop. Go for it!

28/08/2026: When I walked into the restaurant it was amazing just matched the vibe as if you where at Japan. The staff were very nice and spoke good English, the food was amazing I had shusi while my parents had soup which was amazing I wanted more haha. I definitely recommend to come here 10/10

21/08/2026: Just enjoyed pretty much the finest dining experience you will find in Paris. Far better than our dining with the Eiffel Tower. The service is truly extraordinary, plus the added touches before and after the meal are inspired, right down to the white rose presented to my wife. Thank you Le Cinq team! Understand you are going for a totally unique ultimate experience, so expect to spend $150-$250 euros per appetizer and entree item, plus cocktails or wine. Plan to Is it worth it? Absolutely, because it’s the type of experience you will remember your entire life. The wine list is a leather bound, hard cover “wine bible” with a dizzying array of choice wines at many price points and the food is delightful, inspired, creative and impeccably presented. Thank you Le Cinq! We had a wonderful evening.

13/08/2026: I went for dinner on August 11th. I ordered à la carte, and the amuse-bouches and pre-dessert, in addition to the main courses, were excellent. It was a perfect dinner. The champagne, wine, and service were all excellent, and I was deeply touched by the gift of a rose at the end. I had a wonderful evening. Thank you, Le Cinq.

08/08/2026: An exceptional experience at Christopher Coutanceau restaurant in La Rochelle. The seafood menu is simply outstanding, offering a truly exquisite culinary journey. Special mention goes to the team, who were incredibly kind and provided attentive, personalized service. An unforgettable moment to celebrate my birthday!

21/08/2026: Very good restaurant, however, this restaurant is supposed to accept the Swile restaurant card, but when it came time to pay, only €15 was given in restaurant vouchers on a €60 bill. We wanted to split the bill €25 and €25, as there are two of us using this card. So, at worst, €15 and €15, but no, only one card was accepted, so only €15 out of the €60. The cards are debit cards, so they are immediate debit cards. A shame.

20/08/2026: Even though we arrived late, they immediately made us sit down. They explained all the dishes to us and served quickly. Note of merit to the main course and chicken wings. We ate in different Lebanese in different places and this is definitely one of the best!

18/08/2026: Fantastic Lebanese restaurant in Rouen; you can tell the food is restaurant quality. I found the cooking more refined than at some of the expensive shawarma-type caterers and street food places you find in Paris. And all at reasonable prices with great set menus. The garlic sauce (tomato) that you can order on the side at no extra charge is one of the best I've ever had.

25/07/2026: I'm 55 years old, and I've never eaten so well as today! How is it that this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star? I eat out very often, and I traveled from Belfort to try this restaurant, which had been highly recommended to me. The cuisine was breathtaking. The dishes were refined and elegant, everything was very fresh, and above all, the homemade quality was immediately apparent. I invite the Michelin Guide inspectors to visit this restaurant and experience this sumptuous gastronomy. I particularly commend the chef of this restaurant, who must use all his expertise to create such spectacular dishes. Keep up the good work; I will definitely be back. Sincere congratulations!
