The dishes are both healthy and delicious; you can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients and great care. The welcome is truly warm, and you immediately feel at ease. 19/04/2026: Dinner last night at Tomate 🍅 et Piment 🌶️ for two. A wonderful time from start to finish. The Cajun salmon was delicious, and the chocolate mousse was simply divine 🍫. We'll definitely be back.

08/04/2026: The best thing about Le Carreau is the portion size. First time in Bordeaux where we could not finish the mains and decided to skip dessert. And the overall taste of everything we had was good, very nice surprise on the warm bread they served us. Unfortunately, I think our expectations were higher. The table we were sat on was right next to the toilet with almost complete lack of personal space vs the next table. Wine selection (by the glass) was quite poor, and the food while overall tasty was very ordinary. The croquettes for starters were very floury, the confit duck leg was drier than expected, and the artichoke carpaccio was just an artichoke from a jar, flavoured with cumin which felt too overpowering. We also had oysters and beef tartare which were quite good actually. Disappointing to not have clean pair of cutlery between meals. Out waiter was very friendly and helpful though waited 20 min for the bill.

13/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. I've never had such a bad meal in Lyon. Even small Indian snack bars are far better. The meat clearly tasted like it had been there a day, and the plate was full of bones and thick layers of fat… unacceptable, especially considering the prices. I love Indian food, but this was nothing like what you'd expect: the dish was frankly disgusting. As a result, my stomach still hurts, even though I usually have a strong stomach. In short, steer clear if you don't want to be disappointed.

12/04/2026: Last week we had a drink in the park while waiting for our table at the restaurant "Le Bistrot au bord de l'eau". We ordered a glass of red wine and a glass of white wine without being shown the menu. The drinks were charged directly by the restaurant. Imagine our surprise when we received the bill to find that the glass of white wine was €26 and the red €30... When you're offered a drink on a terrace, I don't expect to pay the most expensive (or nearly so) item on the menu. These are almost the same prices as a bottle of wine in a brasserie, and I must admit they didn't impress me at all. We felt ripped off.

10/04/2026: Everything is perfect in this idyllic setting. The staff is excellent and discreet. The food, spa, pool, and Sisley treatments are perfect.

14/04/2026: Excellent establishment. Impeccable and very professional service. Quiet and spacious rooms. The breakfast is very generous. Located near the train station and the city center.

22/03/2026: A lovely, modern hotel with very nice amenities. The breakfast was pleasant and plentiful, offering good quality products. It was a shame the restaurant was closed on Saturday evening, and that the bedding was a bit hard for us.

19/04/2026: We had dinner at La Table 1924, the restaurant at the Hôtel Regina in Le Puy, to celebrate my sister's 25th birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The dishes were delicious, expertly prepared, and served in generous portions. Everything was perfectly executed, from the presentation to the service. The decor is particularly elegant and adds a great deal of charm to the place, making the experience even more enjoyable. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. We were seated at a table a little off to the side, which allowed us to fully enjoy the moment in a calm and convivial atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will gladly return.

01/04/2026: A pleasant surprise! A restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, and yet: the classic Italian dishes are excellent, served quickly by an adorable waiter and a chef who takes great care of his customers.

22/03/2026: Visited by chance on the recommendation of a local, Pizzeria Alberto lived up to its promise for the evening. The staff was warm and professional, the food generous and delicious. There was a good selection, but not too much, and the best part was the homemade fresh pasta. The atmosphere was lively, with the chef making a point of checking on each customer during their meal. Finally, the value for money is excellent; some establishments in the provinces are much more expensive.
