27/09/2026: The best thing about this crêperie isn't necessarily the galettes or crêpes (which aren't bad, but not the best either), it's the decor and the waitress who was absolutely fantastic and very kind. Thank you!

25/10/2026: A typical spot for a meal with friends, but a bit noisy... Sometimes you have to strain to hear yourself.
Otherwise, the food is very varied: raw, cooked, salad, dessert, even cheese is available.

27/09/2026: The bull steak is divine. As a small suggestion, I would have liked to see a light sauce served with the meats. Similarly, a little aioli would have been perfect with the grilled cuttlefish. I was unlucky with my fruit dessert, which was clearly past its prime. This didn't seem to impress the owner, however. The waiter was excellent.
15/09/2026: Small, family-run restaurant with freshly prepared tapas and grilled specialties. A special plate was prepared for vegetarians. Very friendly service, French.

30/07/2026: We had diner here, the views were stunning and the food was okay, however not the best we ever had. For example they served us partially frozen bread and the pineapple was I bit too predominant in the ceviche. That being said, the presentation was very nice. Sadly, the waiting staff was quite disappointing, could be a one off thing, because all other reviews usually find the service good. So might have to come back and try another time.
12/07/2026: A long established restaurant under new ownership, which still delivers excellent service and beautifully presented delicious food. You can rely on Cyril, the maitre D, to recommended a delicious wine. We all enjoyed each of our chosen dishes. Go here for a family celebation, anniversary, date night or just if you want to spoil yourself. Good value for money in a beautiful setting.

I highly recommend this place.
25/10/2026: It had been years since I'd been back to the 13th arrondissement, and the first thing I wanted to do was go back and eat the famous veal escalope Bolognese here at San Giovanni.
My son (4 years old) ordered a pizza, which he devoured.
And for an aperitif, we had the strawberry cocktail, refreshing and made with real strawberries.
As for the service, the owner and his son are simply delightful.
I highly recommend this place, decorated with sumptuous paintings of Italian scenes.

22/09/2026: Stopped for a quick bite and really liked the place. The staff was super friendly and the place is very quite and cozy. We got a pain au chocolate and a baguet with ham and cheese with some juice. The bake quality was very good and the pain au chocolate was flaky, buttery and super tasty.
